A little of the goods, Al Pastor, Cabeza, Lengua

Tacos are mostly good but the meat (Carne Asada) was a bit dry, burrito is epic. Service has been hit and miss the last two trips. I wish the burrito had a tad more meat, and a good sauce with heat. Needs a little upkeep in the dining room, bathroom could use a coat of paint.

It's a small place but they have a number of food options. I ordered the super quesadillas with carne asada and my husband got Al Pastor tacos. The quesadilla was ok, nothing special about them.. but the tacos...they were legit!! I will definitely get the tacos next time.

This little gem of a Mexican restaurant and bakery is located in a strip mall off of one of the main streets of Fallon, Nevada right next door to CC Communications. Went in for a quick lunch. Had 2 carne asada tacos that were out of this world good. Reminds me of the authentic Mexican food you can find in Southern California. The salsa was really good too. Couple that with a horchata and you are in Latino Heaven! Also had the chicken tacos, beans and rice. They serve menudo on the weekends - I need to remember that for the next time I come in. People working there are very nice. The place was busy today on a Saturday. I found out that Tuesdays are the days when the have fresh Mexican pastries. Great service, great food at a great price!

I keep coming back to this place. Great meats! Can't seem to find it on the menu at the moment but they do have a California burrito. They also sell beer and Jarritos

Looked up best breakfast in Fallon, well the reviews are spot on. The breakfast burritos are delicious and huge, no skippy burritos here. It was chocked full of sausage, potatoes and eggs plus a choice of green or red salsa. For a change, I ordered the chilaquilas with green sauce, huge portion with two fried eggs plus rice and beans (great beans). It was flavorful and filling. The ladies behind the counter were nice and helpful. The restaurant is spotless!

We came in here for lunch and I'll have to say, this was way better than that casino cafe we went to last night for dinner. This reminds me of casual Taqueria places in CA. Stand in line, place you order for all kinds of burritos or combo plates and then pick it up when they call you. The prices seem about the same as most Mexican casual places, except those chain restaurants ... those are more for less authentic food. I'll say the food here is pretty authentic casual Mexican food. You can choose different meats to go into you burrito. I stayed safe and got the streak burrito. So did my friend. There's tables inside to sit and a booth sort of seating on one side. My food was good, maybe not the best burrito I ever had, but decent and I return if I had to. This is a safe choice for Mexican food in Fallon.

Absolutely fantastic! Greatest authentic Mexican food north of San Diego and the coldest beer I have ever been served!

Somewhat of a new bakery and general food spot in Yerrington. I have come here a few times now to…read moregrab lunch and each time its been solid. I have had their Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, Philly Cheesesteak, and Carne asada burrito. Even with the food being above average I still hesitate to go back because of a few things. First one being in regards to the seating within the restaurant. It's a complete joke. I don't want to sit in small uncomfortable metal chairs or a wooden bench. Second, is their french fries, they are way to greasy and really just suck. I have even requested them to be well done but even then they are limp and greasy. Lastly, why can't I have a breakfast burrito for lunch. It's weird that I can have it after 2pm but can't at noon. Overall, like it said it's not a bad spot but it's also not a spot I would crave to eat at either.

I've already been here a couple times now. I wanted to wait on reviewing it until they've had…read moreenough time to work out the kinks (they've recently opened). I'll start by saying I'm not crazy about the interior. I do like the hanging lights they've put up to give it a dark & cozy feel, but I hate the seating arrangements. For starters, there's only 2-3 tables with chairs and they look cheap. Almost like they picked them up at a garage sale or something. Also, the place doesn't have a very welcoming vibe to it, in my opinion. It appears unorganized and hastily thrown together. That's the biggest area of improvement I see for this place. Now on to the good. On my first visit, all I ordered was the Peanut Butter Protein shake and it wasn't very good. The taste of banana was strong with only a hint of PB. This time around, the flavor profile was much more balanced. So while it has improved, it's still something I feel I could just whip up at home instead of plopping down $6 bucks for. It needs something added to give it a boost. I also gave the food a shot and ordered the, "New York", bagel. It was scrambled egg, bacon, cheese, and ham (I had them hold the ham) sandwiched in between a, you guessed it, bagel. I will admit, it was delicious. Huge, as well. They certainly don't skimp on the serving size. My only complaint was that they used what appeared to be a "Kraft" slice of cheese. I could be wrong, but that's what it looked like to me. I wish they would use a higher quality cheese. The customer service is good. In the few times I've been there I haven't encountered any rude employees. While I feel that there's definitely some improvements that need to be addressed, they're also off to a decent start. Using better quality ingredients, labeling items that contain nuts (for those with allergies), and improving the look & feel of the interior is what I would like to see. I will definitely come back from time to time to try out other menu items.

This is definitely in the category of a hidden gem!…read more YTA (Yerington Theater for the Arts) manages this amazing old building that serves as the cultural center for the small farming community of Yerington. Inside this refurbished old grammar school is an amazing little cafe operated by YTA. I used to come to the cafe when I lived in Yerington and it was under different management. I am so happy to see that the Cafe has been revived under the capable management of Roy Enochson, the Executive Director of YTA. A friend and I decided to have lunch here recently. The Cafe is in the lobby area of the Theater and serves as a place to eat, an art gallery and a boutique for all sorts of arts and crafts most of which are locally made. The space is a bit like being in a favorite Auntie's parlor with little tables, comfy chairs and a visual cornucopia of treasures. My friend ordered the lunch special - butternut squash ravioli with a side salad. I ordered the Cafe Signature Salad - a lovely fresh blend of baby greens, apples, cheese, cranberries, candied walnuts all lightly dressed with a white balsamic vinaigrette. I also had a blood orange Italian Soda. The food was all tasty and fresh. Service was vey friendly, but the food was slow coming out. It was worth the wait. Our total bill for the two of us was under $20. While the portions were not huge, the meal was satisfying and the quality was excellent. This is a definite place to stop if you are in the area. It is a fabulous alternative to the fast food and casino coffee shops that are in the area.

The have freshly prepared paninis, smoothies, salads, and an assortment of sandwiches. I believe they also do daily specials of dishes that are not typically on the menu. Not many know this place has a Cafe inside, so you'll typically, especially during lunch, be able to sit and eat in relative peace. Which is a nice change of pace from other, full-fledge restaurants.
