Cute small town bakery! While their selection of their pastries can vary day to day (today they had 4 kinds of turnovers, but no other types of pastries), they have a large selection of fresh baked breads to choose from. They also had a large menu of options from breakfast burritos to lunch paninis to pizza and more, everything is priced well and made fresh to order. I tried a pineapple turnover that was super fresh and flaky, with a lot of filling in the middle. I also had the Detox smoothie, and found out it's made with only fresh fruit and no juices, syrups or fillers. Very refreshing! I must admit, the table of 4 next to me each ordered the breakfast burritos and they looked awesome!!! Large in size and be sure to ask for red salsa. Service was okay. The staff certainly didn't go out of their way to be very welcoming to me or helpful in showing where their menu is (as it is no longer on the wall as shown in other poctures, but is now a printed paper menu), but they were certainly not rude either. I'd still give 5 stars because I didn't come to this small town bakery for it's service, I came for fresh baked goods and quality food! Overall, great hidden gem in the small town of Yerington, NV. Definitely worth a try if you're from the area or just passing through town. Cheers!

    Just opened on June 2nd!!

Good start.... let's see where it goes. Our family tried a variety of items. All were good. We tried a danish, cinnamon roll, breakfast burrito, detox smoothie, and a strawberry milkshake. The cinnamon was a little hot for a breakfast pastry. No public restroom which may be an issue for your group, was for our 7-year-old. We'll be back to try more things.

The best cup of piping hot coffee that I've had in 10 years and I live in Kona! I bought one of almost every pastry that they baked that morning and my winner is this dream boat of a mouthful that I learned was called a custard pillow. I, no shit you brah, broke da mouth! I was closer to Heaven than I ever was in that moment I first bit into the lightestest and tenderist, perfectly golden topped, most flavor-filled, creamy and cool, custard layered crispness. Did I mention that I liked it?

I was giving this place a chance, since they are new in town. Hoping they'd do a great job... but it was just OK. All I pretty much wanted was a simple white cake with flowers on the side.. but I didn't get what I wanted. I really did not like the stamping in the fondant and the sad part was it wasn't even smooth it was lumpy and just sad. I clearly stated flowers on the side....the side! But I couldn't do anything about it.. since it was for my wedding and had someone pick it up for me and take it to the event. The inside was good tho. But overall did not like that that was the cake that I'll have in my pictures.

Cute little bakery on Main Street. Doesn't look open from far away, so you may overlook it. Awesome coffee, delicious fresh breads, scones, puffs, pizzas etc. give it a try!

We got a chocolate croissant (only decent thing I got, but don't compare it to an artisanal made croissant where it's a dark golden brown with flaky crispy buttery layers). Their "croissants" are more like anemic, soft, moist bread. Also, got a cheese Danish. Starbucks sells a better cheese Danish than this place. The Danish was dry and hard and the center filling looked like it was pre-made frozen and just placed on top of the Danish. Finally, the worst of the worst, I got a personal size dutch apple crumble pie. Now THIS looked like it was made from scratch and I had hopes for this one. However, I took a piece of the crumble topping and ate it. It had an unusual funny taste. Almost like it was made with lavender. Didn't taste quite right. Then, when I got back to my hotel, I really dug into it. It wasn't just the crumble that was off, but the entire pie tasted of rancid spoiled butter. I had to spit it out, it was horrible. I can't believe they would serve that. I don't know how old that thing was, but they need better quality control. The only people I could see giving this place 5 stars on the food, are locals. Tahoe is behind when it comes to quality high end artisanal pastries. I have yet to find a decent coffee shop. Their sign boasts "Voted Best in Tahoe", but you'll see that almost every spot here has the same sign, from ice cream shops to bakeries to whatever else because there's literally nothing here. If you're from a big city, don't come here. Service was pleasant. No complaints.

Inside this refurbished old grammar school is an amazing little cafe operated by YTA. I used to come to the cafe when I lived in Yerington and it was under different management. I am so happy to see that the Cafe has been revived under the capable management of Roy Enochson, the Executive Director of YTA. A friend and I decided to have lunch here recently. The Cafe is in the lobby area of the Theater and serves as a place to eat, an art gallery and a boutique for all sorts of arts and crafts most of which are locally made. The space is a bit like being in a favorite Auntie's parlor with little tables, comfy chairs and a visual cornucopia of treasures. My friend ordered the lunch special - butternut squash ravioli with a side salad. I ordered the Cafe Signature Salad - a lovely fresh blend of baby greens, apples, cheese, cranberries, candied walnuts all lightly dressed with a white balsamic vinaigrette. I also had a blood orange Italian Soda. The food was all tasty and fresh. Service was vey friendly, but the food was slow coming out. It was worth the wait. Our total bill for the two of us was under $20. While the portions were not huge, the meal was satisfying and the quality was excellent. This is a definite place to stop if you are in the area. It is a fabulous alternative to the fast food and casino coffee shops that are in the area.

Not many know this place has a Cafe inside, so you'll typically, especially during lunch, be able to sit and eat in relative peace. Which is a nice change of pace from other, full-fledge restaurants.
