Having come out to Fernley quite a bit for work, there was one visit in which I did not have time to have a coffee stop. I read the menu and noticed it mentioned a huge amount of syrups but did not see a list upon asking I was given a general idea (but nothing for reference to go off of). I saw there was a reese's drink and asked if that could be an iced latte and after some back and forth there was a way to make it in a latte form. I wanted a snack, and saw they offered a pretzel wrapped cheddar hotdog. They have you drive from one part of the building to the other side to keep the flow steady. Just wanted to start off by saying I love this place and their coffee. By far the best coffee I can find in Fernley. Service is pretty good and workers are friendly. I came through to get some coffee last week. I ordered a 20oz and it looked more like a 16oz. I didn't think much of it but today I came back again and same thing. I asked if it was a 20oz and they told me yes. I went home and measured it with a measuring cup and it was a 16oz. I took it back and told them they made the wrong size to which they pulled out the cup they had on the shelf and told me it's a 20oz. I brought the measuring cup with me and showed them that they're wrong and they agreed to fix my drink. They didn't apologize for the mistake or say anything about checking the cups that they have stocked. Clearly there isn't any care for fixing that mix up. I'm assuming they might've just put the wrong cups in the spot but to continue selling people the wrong size. That's false advertising you're not getting what you pay for. This is a new issue hasn't always been this way but I'm just disappointed by the lack of response and complacency. read more

I stopped by for an extra boost midday while working in Fernley today. I was greeted by a friendly young lady. There were two inside; one at each window. I am a sucker for daily specials or seasonal food/ drink items. Today, their special was almond bar. I ordered one iced with oat milk. It was just what I needed! Honestly wish the ladies wouldn't be so snotty, the drinks are absolutely delicious. The service is snotty and uptight. I'd rather pay an extra dollar to Starbucks for better service which sucks because I love to support local. But if locals treat locals like that. Don't let this place fool you... it may look like your typical sugary drink coffee stand, but they actually make great coffee! We ordered iced caramel sauce lattes and asked for them to be ¾ sweet, and they turned out super good. I'd definitely recommend ordering drinks a little less sweet than usual to really let the coffee flavor shine. This is a cute little espresso shop located right off the highway as you drive thru Fernley. We grabbed some much needed drinks on the way back from Yosemite. They had two specials one espresso (16oz for $4.00) and the other their version of Redbull-infused energizers, called "Kickers" (20oz for $4.25). My husband chose the espresso option which was the Classic Tuxedo (mix of dark and white chocolate with whip and chocolate sauce drizzle). Delicious! Definitely a froo-froo drink that was more sugar than coffee but that's exactly what he wanted. I got the Midnight Kicker (peach Redbull mixed with guava and blackberry) loaded (made with cream and whip). Again, super sweet but super yummy and a fantastic sweet treat! Fernley is lucky to have this adorable little espresso stop and I would definitely stop by again if I'm ever given the opportunity! read more

I don't know why myself or anybody else keeps coming here. My overpriced coffee taste burnt, I asked for 2 cream cheese packets for my overpriced COLD bagel and I didnt get any cream cheese at all. The service is terrible 99% of the time and today was the same, rude service. Pretty disappointing considering we don't have many coffee options around here. read more

This used to be my favorite place to get my Americanos. I stopped going because the flavor of the coffee changed and it all started to taste really watered down. My husband and I went there the other day and yeah it was like drinking dirty water. Very disappointing because I am always quick to support small local businesses. We will be brewing our own coffee and Nespressos at home or going back to Starbucks in an emergency. read more

The day our local Starbucks got rid of my favorite drink I was pushed out of my comfort zone and into the parking lot of our local coffee stand, a push I am quite grateful for. Everyday since, my husband and I have been stopping in for Red Bull kickers (which can be made with sugar free Red Bull). The kickers are so accurate you can't trust that if it's called a "jolly rancher" kicker it tastes EXACTLY like jolly rancher. My go to is the wild berry kicker. Ask for a punch card! read more

I've gone here a few times throughout the years and haven't been super impressed. They have good sugar free options whereas Starbucks essentially has none. I went in a few days ago and spent 17+ for two drinks. The drinks were both under 6 and 1.00 for specialty milk. Doing the math didn't add up to 17+. Apparently they just add all kinds of charges at will and not listed anywhere, and don't provide itemized receipts. Supposedly the charges are for customizing, despite a sign saying "free to customize." Today I saw someone comment on their Facebook page questioning the same thing. The owner was very defensive toward her and even went as far as attaching pictures of her receipt and did a comparison of what she would pay at Starbucks. The lady confirmed that she didn't even go to their shop today. Then he deleted the thread. The whole thing was weird and shady. He said the "free to customize" was regarding have the freedom to customize the drink with what we want, but that it does comes with a charge and compared to a restaurant. I don't get charged a different charge for eggs if I prefer over-easy VS scrambled, so that was really uncomfortable comment to read. There was no accountability to how it was misleading. I can confirm to that lady that he was wrong, and that i always get the same two drinks at every coffee shop I go to. Every coffee shop I've been to charges under 14.00 for the exact same drinks that include speciality milk, doesn't charge for filling the cup up to the top if you order light ice, doesn't charge for changing anything in the drink whether it's blended or iced, and doesn't NEED to add extra syrup as this guy admitted that they use more syrup then other places. Other places are good without adding extra syrup. Sad that it seems that Small town, small shops tend to have owners and managers who just want to argue because they get the sense that they're more important than corporate institutions, rather than receiving feedback and making changes. Which is fine, just not for me. Corporate coffee in this town has better customer service, and cheaper overall. for a more quality tasting drink. read more

Lattes can be hit or miss... We got 2 medium lattes today and they had no taste! It's like they forgot to add the coffee & flavoring. Both of us were disappointed. Usually I don't say anything -but if I'm paying $11 it better taste decent! So I went back and told them our coffees are "tasteless". ie no coffee taste or hazelnut flavor! You would think they would start over and make new coffee drinks! Nope just added 4 more hazelnut shots- So now our drinks were just sweet- we ended up throwing them out! (This was the owner that I spoke with, who added the 4 extra hazelnut shots- It would have been nice if she would have started over & made new drinks!)
