Great little Mexican restaurant! Came here with my mother-in- law and her husband one night while my husband was working late. Not much to see on the outside, but it's much better inside. Service is stellar. We were greeted, and seated right away. I ordered the beef taco, rice and beans combo platter. It was authentic and fresh. Very tasty. My only complaint, was their lack of good drinks. I love a good margarita with my meal, but they only had wine margaritas. Oh well, the food and service mostly made up for it. read more

This place doesn't look like much from the outside but once you step inside you will be greeted with a smile. The customer service here is amazing. The food is even better. My daughter and husband both ordered the beef enchiladas combo and I had the two chicken soft taco combos both came with a side of rice and beans. The complimentary chips and salsa were good, my only complaint with that is I like my salsa chunkier but that is my personal preference. I also ordered a horchata which was delicious. This place is far from town but worth the drive and since we were already in the area we decided to stop by High Desert Cellars and do a little wine tasting which was just a few minutes away. read more

The best mexican place in the AV for sure. I ordered the shrimp and steak fajitas man was it good! The shrimp were huge and had a very good taste and cooked perfectly. This is our 4th trip out to the new place. Like one other reviewer said, it just lacks the ambience of the old place. Truth is, the food, and in particular the service, is just plain lacking anymore. Used to be our favorite Mexican restaurant in the valley, and had no problem driving out their way to have it, but, not so much anymore. And yes!!? Small Mexican restaurant on the borders of LA County and Kern County. Was referred to this place by a fellow co-worker and probably one of the best Mexican restaurants here in the antelope valley. Chips and salsa are to die for., so good I drive 30 minutes for some good salsa. Micheladas are very addicting, well balanced, and asking for more. Great carnitas burrito! Lot's of flavor. Salsa was excellent. Interior was attractive and comfortable. I would have given 5 stars but for the flies inside. In their defense, there was a delivery while we were there and the door was propped open, but there was an "air-door" in the doorway that didn't seem to be working. Sill, I will go back. Made a special trip out here based on reviews and some word of mouth. I would not recommend and will not be returning. Margarita was syrupy sweet and had to be sent back. It was slightly better upon return but both my husband I felt sprite/soda was used as a filler in the drinks. Food was so-so, definitely not worth a detour. Hardly any meat in the Molcajete, didn't come in stone, sauce was mediocre. Enchiladas suiza was also just OK and the Fiesta plate we ordered for our kids was also not good, children didn't eat much at all (normally they devour nachos, quesadillas, taquitos). Also the service and kitchen were incredibly slow and we had to ask multiple times to get the correct number of esters. In a word, overrated! read more

I used to love eating here but as time goes by there are more and more problems with my food that I order. I always order the same thing. Some how I keep getting my food a different way every time. I've been eating here for 6 years and this problem didn't start till this year. I get enchilada sauce on my food when it's supposed to be ranchero sauce , sometimes my food is stuffed with only meat instead of having the other ingredients that come with it. Sometimes there are added things that have never been in my food before, ingredients that don't come with the meal like randome giant chunks of tomatoes in my burrito . I also always get my baby beans and rice but she cant eat chives. When i ask for no chives the put the beans and rice in bare even though i ask for the sauce on the rice and the cheese on the beans. My mother loves the deep fried ice cream but when she gets it its melted because they put the ice cream ontop of all the hot food. The won't bag it separately. The last straw was I went to give my baby some horchata which she always loves but she refused to drink it, when I tried it I knew why. The drink had almost no cinnamon and the drink was SLIMEY like it was filled with SPIT. Never has the horchata been like this it was disgusting and I'm Hispanic I've never had horchata like this in my life. In all the years I've made horchata it's never come out that way. I'm afraid this may have made my baby sick. It's unacceptable read more
