The al pastor is always cooked to perfection, and in my opinion makes some of the best tacos. They also add fresh pineapple bits, onions and cilantro to these tacos. I haven't tried their tacos with any other meats just because the al pastor is so good. I have tried their carnitas meat on other items. Another noteworthy item is their sope, which is always golden and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I always like to get the carnitas on my sope. It's topped with lettuce, tomato, cheese and sour cream. Their homemade salsas finish off every taco and sope perfectly! Lastly, the homemade horchata is a must try. It's so well done here with the perfect amount of vanilla flavor. The customer service is fantastic as well. I always appreciate feeling valued as a customer and served by a polite waitstaff. So far, I have not found better Mexican food/tacos in the Wichita area. A good thing to keep in mind is that they are cash only. So make sure you have cash on you when you visit!

It's fried and topped with steak, white queso, and pico (8/10). Comes with rice and beans. Their rice was definitely a 10/10. Some authentic Hispanic restaurants lack flavor in their Mexican rice but not Playa. Refried beans were cool, standard 7/10. The chips and salsa are 6/10 and pretty mid in comparison to some other Mexican restaurants I've been to. My sister had a combination plate with rice and beans, that she enjoyed. We ordered margaritas, mango and strawberry, 7/10. All in all, food was great and it has been in the past. My issue comes with the customer service experience AFTER dining in. Both my sister and I were charged TWICE. We only ate at this restaurant once. We were charged for the amount of the original menu items plus tip we left. Then charged once more for menu items without tip. My sister noticed it on her bank account Wednesday, so she called and spoke with a lady who wasn't rude. She just mentioned if both charges went through (no longer pending) to come in and they would review. Today (Thursday September 4th of 2025), I noticed that both charges went through, and were no longer pending in my account. I called and spoke with a guy. On the first call he asked for the last 4 digits of my card and my phone number. Said he'd look into it and call me back. Hours later I called him back to follow up. He said that the "system doesn't double charge." He was antagonistic and definitely lacking customer service. Apparently your system does double charge as it happened to two people who ate at your restaurant. Either that or you all, who work there are entering in information incorrectly! Also, when was he going to call back and inform me that he looked into it and "their system doesn't double charge," and that I'd need to come in and show my account statement so we can "look at it together?" As you can see in a photo I uploaded below, I was charged TWICE! No one needs to scam or lie for some food! I paid and TIPPED! I WILL NOT BE BACK! How you talk to and handle people matters.
