Gave the company the exact square footage for an apt and the number of rooms. They quoted a price and when they arrived they tried to nickel and dime for every little thing. Raising the price by another 50%. Not a good way to do business. I told them no thanks so I can't comment on their cleaning ability. Plusses: They answered the phone, booked a visit for the next day, came on time and did a pretty good job with a pretty hopeless carpet. We had different recollection of the price agreed to on the phone, but to their credit, they went with my lower recollection. In the end, I'm not sure who was right, but they charged a $35 difficult-access fee that I have not been charged before by other cleaning companies, so maybe it all came out even in the end. The carpet definitely looks better and is drying nicely. No chemical smell. Fresh. The five-star standout is the associated window cleaners that came at the same time: ShineSD.com. These folks did an OUTSTANDING job with a pair of them working steadily from 10-3 to clean a very large number of very dirty, difficult to access windows. We wanted the carpets cleaned right away... called Aztech after a google search. Oscar picked up the phone - gave me a good quote based on the number of areas we wanted cleaned. He and his helper were at my place just a few hours later and did a great job. I tipped the guy because I thought he deserved it. Based on past experiences I have found carpet cleaning guys to be shysters - because I feel I have been ripped off before by them. Not this guy - he comes off as honest and hard working. He did our place on a rainy day... so sent his helper back over with two big floor fans and left them with us for the night to dry the place out. After I had a miscommunication on my appointment date, Pablo went out of his way and just added me on to the end of his day because I was in a rush situation. Absolutely the worst service. Had an appointment for a Friday afternoon and Pablo never showed up. I called and called and left voicemails. Eventually he called back at 8pm and said he can do it. At that point I was already out of the apartment and turned in my keys. Told him he needs to get a hold of the property management company to grab a key and clean the carpets. So he said he would call them. Come Monday morning I'm assuming everything was good and Aztec cleaned the carpets.....nope. I got a call from the property management company asking what to do about the carpets. Needless to say I was not happy as now I incurred costs for taking a half day off work on Friday and I was being charged for not having the place clean by move out date. $83 a day! Pablo and Aztec Cleaning are not reliable or friendly and could care less about customer service. Avoid avoid avoid! read more

This is why I love Yelp! We needed our carpets cleaned before Christmas and messaged Aztech through Yelp on Tuesday late night. Pablo replied back to me in 2 minutes! He told me he would call me first thing in the morning and I received a call at 8am on Wednesday. I knew they would be booked for the holidays but we had a vomit incident and tried to clean it ourselves and spilled a whole bottle of cleaner in the process! I explained our dilemma to Pablo and he came out to clean it by himself the very next day, today at 11am. He was on-time, friendly and affordable. They knew I had only two rooms when I made the appointment, but were bent about it once they got there (I am only one mile from their office) and they charged me extra. Did minor damage to my wood furniture by not being careful. I asked about cleaning a 2'x2' single surface on a chair - $35, really? Got a quote for window cleaning - was twice the cost of other estimates. No need to use them again or recommend them on my part. read more
