First tried this place last year and it was a good experience. Tried again on a Tuesday and another time on a Monday. Sushi Tuesday I got the spicy assorted sashimi, pacific sunrise, sunomono, caterpillar roll, spider roll, unagi, tako, inari nigiri, and miso soup. A different day on a Monday I got the spicy assorted sashimi again, wakame, hamachi carpaccio, hamachi, kani, tamago nigiri, rainbow roll, and dragon roll. I preferred the food and service on Tuesday than the Monday visit. There were a lot of people on the Tuesday visit but service was really great. The lady who helped me was really efficient and keeping checking on you. I was the only one on Monday visit but the lady who helped me seldom checked on you. I feel like food was not so fresh on Monday visit. What I liked: spicy assorted sashimi and liked it mixed with sunomono compared to mixing it with wakame, spider roll, unagi nigiri, rainbow roll, dragon roll Okay: pacific sunrise, I liked this but will get the sauce on the side next time, the sauce has an odd taste for me, caterpillar roll, inari nigiri, kani nigiri Not so much: hamachi carpaccio, hamachi nigiri, fish not so fresh, tako nigiri, tamago nigiri Place is spacious and clean. Will come back to try more. Thank you.

Time/Day: 12pm, Friday Afternoon Dinner price charged all day on Friday. They were super attentive and friendly. The fish was fresh and the menu has creative flavors especially the pacific sunrise. It wasn't traditional Japanese sushi but it was delicious! There is no limit to what you can order each round, but the rolls are decent size. Favorites: Pacific Sunrise, Hamachi Carpaccio, and Unagi

Unbeatable price for good quality sushi. The waitress was very friendly and down to earth, and extremely honest with the no leftover rule. The waitress was friendly and eager to serve us sushi. Water was refilled in a timely fashion. The only twist to this cafe is, unlike a buffet style, it is an "order as you go". We went in as the first customer and ate quite a bit.

Best easy go to place in Sacramento for all you can eat sushi! Great service and yummy creative dishes.

Casual spot with great sushi in the south Natomas area! I had the Arizona and Sacramento rolls--both fresh and flavorful, and the Sacramento was one of the best deep-fried rolls I've tried. Edamame and potstickers I order for appetizers, edamame was in a sweet/spicy sauce. There was a strong seafood smell when I first walked in, but the food more than made up for it. Worth checking out!

Food: $23 FOR ALL YOU CAN EAT SUSHI FOR LUNCH!! Nowadays sushi all you can eat cost more than that so it's a really good deal! I came on a weekday for lunch, so it was served fast and fresh! I really like how theres many choices of sushi and sides we can get! Service/Ambiance: The waitress was welcoming and check up on us if we had more to order or needed more water. I will say that when we ordered a lot, she gave us a warning "No wasting food or you have to pay extra". But I didn't take it as bad way bc we did order a lot and ended up having to eat SOO MUCHH. At least I'm stuffed. Overall: If I'm ever looking for sushi buffet in Sacramento I'll come here!!

Ambiance: 12 square tables that seat up to 4 guests spread out; family-friendly with high chairs; quiet but a little dated decor; clean and simple Service: AYCE dishes are made to order; quick turnaround of orders (less than 5 minutes wait); servers are attentive and friendly; family-owned and family-oriented place Food: large portions and flavorful; nigiri (2 pieces per order); rolls (5 pieces per order - just enough to tease your taste buds but not fill you up). Lots of choices! Unlimited order. Sushi rolls seemed larger than rolls from other restaurants. They also have Mango and Green Tea ice cream for dessert. I do wish sashimi weren't cubed.

Got the teriyaki chicken with rice and this was a bit below decent. The chicken is dry and overall, does not have a lot of flavor. I did not finish it, but may try to to not waste food. The gyoza was decent, but the cucumbers were amazing. They're pickled and if I had it alone, this would be 4-5 stars.

This is THE BEST all you can eat sushi in Sacramento hands down. The menu variety is *chef's kiss, the cuts on the nigiri are out of this world for AYCE, and the service is top notch and incredibly fast. We've tried literally every all you can eat sushi spot in Sacramento and I'm not kidding you, this place holds the throne. Just look at this picture! That was round one of nigiri Anyhow, the only downside is that this place is in the sketchiest strip mall ever. I promise you though it's worth it, just brave the danger.

This review is overdue. I visited Azukar Sushi on Wednesday, 9/27/23, during lunchtime. I was very excited to try this AYCE sushi restaurant. In my visit, I ordered the following: *Miso Soup *California Roll *Spicy Tuna Roll *Rainbow Roll *Sunflower Roll *Sake (Salmon) Nigiri *Ebi (Shrimp) Nigiri *Unagi (Eel) Nigiri All of the sushi rolls were super good and fresh. I even enjoyed the miso soup a lot. The service was quick, nice, and attentive. I left the restaurant feeling extremely full and satisfied. Overall, Azukar Sushi is a fantastic AYCE sushi restaurant. I recommend coming here.

Came here for AYCE sushi. This is a very casual and family friendly vibed restaurant. The service was great and the sushi was good! My only complaint is that there are items that are limited to one order, which is a bummer. Other than that, this is definitely a spot to go to, to fulfill your sushi cravings!

It's the kind of place that quietly becomes your favorite before you've even finished your first dish. ‍ Service That Feels Like Home From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm, enthusiastic "Irrashaimase!" The hostess was exceptionally engaging--personable without being overbearing--and guided us through the sake menu like a seasoned sommelier of umami. Her thoughtful recommendations led us to a beautiful tasting journey featuring three types of sake: * A classic hot sake for comfort, * A crisp cold sake imported from Japan, and * A smooth and unexpected bottle from Vernon, CA (yes, Vernon--who knew?). Although the tall glasses were emblazoned with Orion Beer branding, we stuck to the sake. No regrets. What We Ate -- A Love Letter to Flavor Every dish was visually stunning and bursting with freshness. Here's what we devoured: * Truffle Hamachi Carpaccio: Thin slices of hamachi bathed in a rich truffle soy, topped with microgreens and salmon roe. Silky, aromatic, and sublime. * Shishito Peppers: Perfectly blistered and dusted with spice. A simple dish that delivered big on smoky flavor. * Sake Nigiri & Tobiko Gunkan: The sake (salmon) nigiri was melt-in-your-mouth fresh, and the tobiko gunkan had just the right briny pop. Clean, classic, perfect. * Negihama Roll: Yellowtail and scallion in delicate harmony--refreshing and elegant. * Spicy Tuna Roll: A fiery flavor bomb, dusted generously with shichimi. Spicy but well-balanced. * Jade Roll: Wrapped in seaweed salad and sesame, this one was fresh, crunchy, and full of herbaceous notes. A standout roll. * Cucumber Sunomono: A palate cleanser and a beautiful contrast to the richness of the fish. Light, crunchy, and seasoned just right with sesame. Ambiance Kumi Sushi's atmosphere is refined but intimate--dim lighting, soft jazz playing in the background, and warm wood tones throughout. It's got date-night vibes without trying too hard. Final Verdict Kumi Sushi is everything you want in a neighborhood sushi spot--just elevated. Thoughtful service, stunning presentation, fresh ingredients, and a sake list that deserves its own night. Whether you're a seasoned sushi snob or just looking for a delicious evening out, this place delivers. 11/10 would truffle hamachi myself into oblivion again. Highly recommended.
