Grabbing some grub at Teriyaki Grill

I give Teriyaki Grill in Arden 5 stars for freshness, flavor and value. Service is order at register and to-go or dine in. With plenty of clean tables and chairs, this grill is in the atrium, in the middle of "Arden Square", the building next to Arden mall. The Daily Special for $14 can't be beat! I get this special often. Includes teriyaki, honey glazed or spicy grilled chicken with rice, salad and potstickers. Also includes a fountain beverage. There are also other options like sushi, bento boxes, salads, bowls and eggrolls. Plenty of free parking is right near the entrance of Teriyaki Grill, a hassle free and healthy dining experience.

This place is maxing. Delicious friendly quick definitely a go to when trying to eat high protein and veggies. Triple protein combo with all bro oil can't beat it comes out to 2 meals and just $20 after tax etc

A lot of delicious food for what you paid for. The portions are generous and I love it. The place is kinda in a food court so there are ample seatings everywhere. The staff are friendly and give good recommendations. I always get food to go. I like that the food is fresh, tasty and there is a lot of it haha. My favorites are their teriyaki chicken and spicy Thai chicken. Their gyoza is a perfect snack too. You can build your own bento and pick your favorite protein and sides. A great place for affordable eats~

Flavor was good. Sauces are very sweet I diluted them but good flavor. Do not order the salmon! Got a few dry paper thin pieces. Noodles were good. A little sweeter than I like but good.

Tried the spicy thai chicken & beef teriyaki combo with noodles, rice and veggies. The portion was great and I didn't even finish everything. Unfortunately, the spicy thai chicken was not spicy at all. The beef teriyaki was sweet and good though. The noodles were short on flavor. As for the service, it was just okay. There were a few tables available and they were clean when we dined.

I've passed this place more times than I can count, always wondering if the food was good. I came here on a whim and decided to finally give it a shot... I ordered the basic chicken teriyaki bowl and the new it on the menu, Korean Fried Chicken. The young lady at the register was super nice and friendly, answered all my questions about the menu and gave me her suggestions. The cook seemed like he was in the zone preparing meals so I didn't get a great service experience other than at the Cash register, but he gets a pass. First I was extremely surprised to see the cook pull out fresh chicken thighs that were marinating and then deep fry them right on the spot. Not sure what I was expecting from a little stand at the mall, but it def wasn't that level of freshness. The cook consistently checked on the temp to make sure it was fully cooked. After taking the chicken out and putting in a wok, he then added the Korean sauce (spicy level) and packed it with rice ($2 extra) to go. The chicken was crisp, juicy, sweet/tangy with a good heat level. HUGE portion! The chicken teriyaki was my safe choice and it definitely hit the spot. The chicken did have some dry pieces, but overall juicy and no fatty pieces. The extra teriyaki sauce I added was sweet and gave it that perfect finish. For the huge portions, the price point is accurate. I could have easily shared one entree between two people. I def ordered enough for four! Will be back!

This place is located on the same property as the Arden Mall. But it's not directly attached to the mall. My daughter wanted to come here for her birthday. We enjoyed the sushi. Presentation was in all that. It's a mall environment or food court environment. Service was OK. Nothing worth bragging about.

Teriyaki chicken lunch combo Comes with a fountain drink as well.

Service was delightful and helpful. Food was soooo tasty!!! Perfect flavors that I now crave regularly. This may seem strange to rate but their soda ratio is really good. I've never had a flat or off soda from here. From now on when I am craving teriyaki this is THE place I am coming to!

Delicious! Might be my new favorite Sacramento sushi spot…read more Lunch set with kaisendon was a bit redundant because I also got the chef selection 18 piece sashimi which was much better. My partner and I each got a lunch set. Salad was great and so were the croquette and corn chawanmushi. Galbi was a little fatty but still good. Soft shell crab was too much crunch. Miso soup was nice and had mini scallops except the first scallop was still cold inside (I guess it was freshly put in and not overcooked). Service was good and only two other tables present. I tried their sukiyaki set, both wagyu and seafood. I wish they had given some instructions on the approach or order I should eat the sets of food. It was a little chaotic trying to figure out how I could submerge all the ingredients in the broth so they would cook evenly. The tempura is perfectly crispy, but the rice was a little brittle and got dried really fast. The texture was more like Vietnamese broken rice, and it caught me off guard because when I tried their sushi a while ago, they used very high-quality rice. As is typical with sukiyaki, the broth becomes very flavorful at the end, absorbing all the flavors from high-quality ingredients, but my udon got a little dry while waiting. Since I tried both set, the wagyu sukiyaki broth became a little too sweet at the end. My favorite is definitely the seafood sukiyaki broth. Would I try these pricy sukiyaki again? Probably not. Would I go back to Azayaka again? 100%. This would not discourage me from going back there any amount.

That said, the food did take a bit longer than expected to come out, especially considering it wasn't very busy when we went. When the sushi finally arrived, though, it delivered. The rolls were flavorful and well-made, with a noticeable focus on sauces. They do tend to go heavier on the sauce, so if you like your sushi rich and packed with flavor, you'll probably enjoy it. If you prefer a more simple or traditional style, it might feel like a bit much. The overall vibe was pretty relaxed and low-key, which made it easy to sit and enjoy the meal without feeling rushed.

Arigato Sushi Review…read more Arigato Sushi had a mix of highs and lows during our visit. The tempura sushi roll had good flavor, but the texture and construction made it hard to enjoy fully. The roll tended to fall apart, and it was difficult to get a solid grip with chopsticks, which took away from the experience. On the positive side, the chicken teriyaki plate was amazing--great flavor, cooked perfectly, and easily the highlight of the meal. The quality of that dish really stood out. Overall, Arigato Sushi delivered some strong flavors, but the sushi roll could benefit from better structure and presentation to match the quality of the teriyaki.

There are tables with chairs & bench seating. All the seating is cushioned. Art is on the wall, as well as a TV that had sports on. Mellow pop music plays in the background. Our friendly server was attentive, invited questions, checked in on us, cleared plates quickly, kept our water filled, & chatted with us. Lunch is within the timeframe for happy hour pricing for some items. Our eats-- BBQ Albacore--presented as slices versus chunks, flavorful with a nice sauce Salmon Teriyaki Bento--a lot of tasty food, every component was yummy, the salmon was a nice, thick piece that was cooked well Hot Snow White Roll--the mister really enjoyed this & said it was so close to being a perfect roll for him, but the fried jalapeños felt like they sat around & weren't freshly crisp Volcano Roll--a massive roll that was hearty & spicy, a little over sauced on some pieces, you have to finesse eating this one & negotiate it's big pieces, (personally wouldn't get again) Double Toro Roll--SO deliciously unctuous, ranks highly in my top rolls because I loves me some fatty fish, the freshness of the greens & pickled wasabi added brightness A couple of things really stood out. As a heads up, they've only been open for about 7/8 months and don't really have an established happy hour yet, but I understand that they are working on creating one! They have a pretty extensive sushi menu, and you may get lost in all of the choices, and there are many delicious ones that I definitely want to go back and try! One of my Foodie friends, and I decided to start out with the spicy edamame. It definitely would not be a choice for either one of us. We found that the edamame was not completely boiled, and the spicy seasoning while poured on top, definitely would've been more enjoyable if the edamame had time to marinate in it. Overall, we didn't really care for its flavor or spice level. The assorted tempura was pretty tasty! The batter is light, and the veggies and shrimp are delicious. The dipping sauce was pretty mid-level and I would've enjoyed something with more flavor and something that would've enhanced the tempura. The Hinoka roll was larger than I anticipated, which is always a good thing, and I ordered this based on the recommendation of the waitress. The roll was mid-level. Not absolutely fabulous, but not horrible either. They are very light handed on the sauce on top of the rolls, and I did request some Unagi sauce, which definitely helped to elevate the flavor profile We both loved the way the Nigiri was presented, and definitely made for fun conversation. The Nigiri is pricey, and was tasty. Naoki definitely should be given grace since they are newer. The staff is pretty attentive, and I'm hoping that they find their groove in our community They have their own parking lot with free parking, which is always a plus when you're in or near the downtown/Midtown area. I would often come around noon during the week, and order the Thai chicken bento box. Unfortunately one of the days I came, I found a fingernail in the California roll. Bit into the roll, and the fingernail as well. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Immediately lost my appetite and wanted to throw up. I flagged my server down (all the employees here are super nice), and showed her the fingernail. She took it to the back and reported it to a manager or supervisor I suppose. When she came back she told me that their California rolls are pre-made, so if you're ordering these rolls BE CAREFUL. She offered to remake the bento box to which I shared no. I asked for my tab and when she came back she said it was on the house and did not ask me to pay (nice gesture, but I mean when you find a whole fingernail in your food, that's the least that can be done). Safe to save, I have not gone back since then and probably won't. If I did, I'm definitely staying far away from the California roll. This happened to me last year, so hoping some changes in their hygiene and making of California rolls have been made since then.
