Beautiful location - great service- wonderful food. One of the best breakfast brunch in PV. Outdoor setting - off the beaten path on a side street in the zona romantica. Very popular even more so with the opening of the Tryst Hotel around the corner. Weekday is more accessible.

Quick and friendly service, but was not in the top three restaurants I had visited while in PV. Food is flavorful, but I thought portions ran smaller than average. Food was also not as spectacular as I was expecting, but maybe I ordered the wrong thing (caprese toast). The dressing did not taste super fresh. Also, there aren't any lattes. Regular coffee was mediocre. Ambiance is clean and welcoming.

We found this fantastic and affordable place during our last visit. Now we come for breakfast regularly. Love the food, service and homey vibe. My favorites are the omelettes and bagel breakfast sandwiches. The serve a small mash potato that is utterly divine. The chef insists it's only potatoes and butter. Hmmm. Can't beat their prices or smiles.

Omelette poblano, Mexicano Benedict, and Bloody Mary were delicious.

Food, service and ambiance were great! No wait, friendly service, the food and drinks were delicious, and the prices are very reasonable. Azul is a great find!

Yum French toast with perfectly cooked bacon and eggs. Refreshing fruit and smooth coffee. Go here.

Wonderful! Tucked just off the busy Basilio Badillo, this cafe is a relaxing respite from the crowds. Their French toast is truly delicious and plentiful. Slightly custardy on the inside and crisp on the outside. Their regular coffee was flavorful and smooth. Also, the green juice gets you the nutrients you need. Service was attentive and friendly. Pay cash if you can, but they do accept cards. A gem for breakfast.

Breakfast was sooooo delicious!!! I can't wait to go back!

This picture was from my trip in June. Everything was excellent!! I'm from Oklahoma and I wanted something the locals would eat. Wow ! The flavors were amazing!!! I can't wait to go back in December.

Excellent authentic Mexican style breakfast with some modern twists!! Really enjoyed our food and our host, Meme..and the bloody ceaser with the hibiscus salt was beautiful and delicious. Looking forward to returning

The Best Chilaquiles I've Ever Had! We met Caesar the owner and his recipes are to die for! His Mole sauce is what the chocolate mole lovers search for. We went with friends and all got chilaquiles with a different sauce. One had poblano, one rojo, I had chipotle...it was sooooo good! So good in fact we went back for our last meal in town before heading home! Beautiful little place, so clean and the staff is so friendly and attentive. It will be my first stop when we return!

    Stuffed French Toast

This stuffed French toast was DELICIOUS. I thought it might be too sweet with the Nutella but it was perfect. Great smoothie and service as well. A cozy place for brunch.

Azul is a cute family-run breakfast place with tables outside on the sidewalk and indoors with A/C. The grandmotherly woman is always busy seating people and taking orders, yet is still friendly. She never made us feel rushed even when a crowd starts arriving. I've been coming to Azul for several years, but in the high season the wait line can get long. Luckily this past week we never had to wait. We ended up eating here 3 times in a week! I've had the Omelet Vegetariano several times and she remembered I didn't want asparagus. I'm not vegetarian, so I add a crispy bacon side. The Bienedictos Mexicanos was also quite tasty with arrachera. Fruit came with our meals, fresh cut mangos, cantaloupe and pineapple. I asked for hot sauce, picante, and out came fresh spicy red salsa and some truly hot green sauce. Yum! The coffee is delicious, hits the spot, and constant refills are offered. The fresh-squeezed orange juice is great, and the green drink is amazing too. I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu. Sometimes the simplest food does taste the best.

Service was wonderful! It's like going home and your mom's cooking your breakfast. Loved how it's tucked away from the busy streets - just a stone throw from Freddie's Tucan (which i think its too busy).

Such a delicious breakfast at reasonable prices. Staff is extremely welcoming, friendly, and you feel like a valued guest. The salmon bagel was flavorful and yummy! The strawberry smoothie was refreshing and tasty. Please note: CASH ONLY

They had bottomless coffee and a bunch of freshly squeezed juices which was a great start. Obviously, I had to order pancakes at a place called the Pancake House. I expected them to be good, but wow...they ended up being some of the best pancakes I've ever had. Thick, fluffy, and somehow perfectly soaked up the syrup without getting soggy. It was a stack of three and looked like way too much at first... but I genuinely couldn't stop eating them. My boyfriend got the French toast, and I barely managed to sneak in one bite before it disappeared but that one bite was incredible! I get why he didnt want to share it lol. The service was quick and super friendly. We were joking around with our waiter the whole time which made it even better. The whole place has a really cute vibe too with plants everywhere. Honestly, it was the perfect last meal and such a great way to spend our final morning. I'm definitely going to be dreaming about those pancakes for a long time.

We ordered the chilaquiles and they were so good, definitely a must. We also got a side of habanero sauce, which had great flavor and just the right kick. The refried beans were delicious, the French toast was good, and the coffee was served hot Only downside: they don't accept cards, but they do take U.S. dollars. Still worth it!

I ended up eating here 3 times during my stay at the hotel (see separate review). I was the only one eating late afternoon lunch while waiting for my room to be ready. The Mahi-Mahi Fish & Chips was breaded differently than any I've had before, but it was good and the fish was not overdone. They didn't have malt vinegar but the vinegar provided was ok. Corona beer at about 80 pesos was cheap compared to US. Intrigued, I tried the vegetarian Green Omelet for breakfast. Green olives, zucchini, avocado, you get the picture. It tasted better than it looked. For dinner, Tortilla soup was good but a bit too salty for me. I'm not sure what "Artisan Pasta" means, but the Artisan Fungi pasta was excellent; along with the cream sauce, it was probably the best tasting I've ever had! Loaded with mushrooms! The martinis were also pretty cheap at about 79 pesos. So cheap I had 2. The wait staff was very attentive. Food took a bit longer to arrive than I expected, especially since I was one of two guests eating there during my meals; however, the next time I'm in the area, even if not staying at the hotel, I'd definitely stop by for more Artisan Pasta.
