Perfect!!! So glad we came here for dinner. It doesn't have an ocean view but still rooftop and really wonderful. Everything was clean and pleasant. Our server Jesus was just wonderful. He speaks perfect English and gave great suggestions. We loved the food. My ribeye was yum and my mom got the seafood pasta which was also perfect and very tasty. At night it's Italian menu and daytime from 8-2pm it's Mexican breakfast and lunch. I'm definitely going to try that next. So glad we came! read more

This place is a little bit off the beaten path to be sure food is excellent. It's on the 5th floor roof of a building. There's an elevator that takes you up to the top so you don't have to climb stairs. It's open air with the view of the water. Service was very attentive and I thought the prices were really affordable. Definitely worth the trip read more

We had a wonderful breakfast at their rooftop restaurant on a Sunday morning. We got there around 9:30 and got right in. When we left all the tables were taken and there was a line waiting. After ordering our breakfast they bring around fresh pastries that were delicious. I got two eggs with hash browns. I needed a break from all the sauces with the eggs. My wife ordered the vegetable omelette with fruit. Others ordered eggs and waffle and omelette. My eggs were cooked perfectly and the hash browns crisp. Everyone else enjoyed theirs. We visited during the low season on a Monday for dinner and our experience with the staff was very intimate because we had the place to ourselves. We started with the Rockefeller clams, then had the Mare E Monti pasta with shrimp and bacon, and a chile tomato, Parmesan cream sauce, and the Contest brick oven pizza that consists of shrimp, peas, tomato, with a cream sauce and arugula. I would recommend trying it all, and bring cash, the prices are reasonable but this is a cash only establishment. Cesar, and the rest of the staff made our dinner experience one of a kind. Meño's Place has quickly become one of our PV favorites. We look forward to many more visits to experience their vast menu options. read more

When you come to this place you have to check in with the front downstairs. Once there's space and she can let you in, she will let you use the elevator to go up to level 4. We got an appetizer thinking that we could finish it, but no, it was too much. They make the tortillas by hand and they are big. We got quesadillas de carne to share (came with 3). I was intrigued by the Chicken Lasagna, with bechamel and a lighter tomato sauce than regular lasagna, and it was very good. My wife had fettucine with salmon and asparagus which she said was delicious. We didn't get to try their brunch, maybe next time. I had a great meal of salmon with linguine in a Rosé sauce, along with a nice glass of Chardonnay and green salad. So mine was 5-stars. My husband ordered a salmon filet "cooked all the way through". It was very rare. So he was unhappy and refused to send it back to be cooked more. So what do you do? Maybe he should have used Google Translate to make sure the waiter understood. I place the blame for his dissatisfaction on him, not the restaurant! The other couple seemed to enjoy their meals. It's on a rooftop several blocks from the water. The team in the kitchen knows what they are doing. The pear salad was great with perfect pears. Need to mention the homemade sourdough bread is very special and the butter--Wow so good. Everything is good here. We came every day on our trip to PVR! For breakfast... our favorites were the coffee, fruit w yogurt and granola, any of the egg dishes, and the fresh squeezed orange juice. It was worth the nice walk from where we stayed (Sheraton). The service was impeccable every day! We went on a Thursday evening. It is on the 4th floor of the building so do not be startled by the lack of life below. We went and it was beautiful!! The ambiance, the service, the food! I loved it all. The sourdough that is used for the bread and the crust is treated with love and has a great story of how they maintain it. We were fortunate enough to meet the owner of the restaurant and she was so sweet. If there is a play that I can encourage anyone to try, it's this place. Such a great brunch spot! A portion of our group left this day and this was our final meal together. It was actually some of our parties second time there, it was so good they wanted us all to eat there together. First of all, pretty much every dish here comes with chilaquiles so if you love chilaquiles then eat here! I ordered the shrimp omelette, which came with beans and chilaquiles (as pictured).
