I went with one of my safe options when trying out a new Mexican restaurant which is a bean and cheese burrito, which I ordered, and got 3 street tacos with carne asada as well. Starting with the positives, the green salsa had great flavor, and the carne asada was decent, not the best I've had, but certainly not bad. Unfortunately, the rest of the meal fell short for me. The bean and cheese burrito was made with whole beans instead of refried beans, which caught me off guard since I've always associated a traditional bean and cheese burrito with refried beans. It wasn't necessarily wrong, just not what I was expecting. One of my tacos also had the meat clumped together, almost as if it had been reheated in a microwave, which affected the texture and overall experience. Overall, everyone's tastes are different, so it's still worth trying for yourself. But having grown up eating Mexican food in Southern California, this one just wasn't for me, and I don't see myself returning.

Food is amazing and affordable! My fiance' and I live down the road and sometimes get home late from work. One of our trips there was just as they were closing down, but Jesus did not let us go empty handed as they still had food available. We feel like the only people there when we visit, and the best part is that they recognize and remember us. The El Pastor Tacos, Shrimp, Carnitas & Steak are our favorites. We go with the classic MX Taco for all of them. Thinking a burrito is the next to try. You definitely get a nice hefty portion of food. Some may be saying they have raised their prices, but it's worth it! Y'all gotta understand in order to produce good quality and keep their business going they gotta do what they gotta do.
