Shell Yeah! Pizza of the month for July 2025
    C D.

Stopped in for lunch after seeing that the monthly pizza was a lobster roll pizza. I was keeping my expectations low - how good could it be? It was our first time trying Azzip and we weren't sure what to expect. Well....it was a great experience! Ordering was fairly straightforward- you go through the line to tell them what size, toppings, etc. I did the lobster roll "Shell Yeah!" and hubby had "The Classic" (like a deluxe or combo pizza with veggies and meat). We also ordered side salads and got to take advantage of the free drink and cookie offered when you join the free rewards club. Both pizzas were delicious. We did the square (pan style) pizzas. Crust edges and bottom were nice and crisp. The slightly spicy sauce on the lobster pizza gave it a nice zip. Dipped the crust in cheese sauce (added that as an extra) and yum! Pizza was gone! We will definitely be coming back!

They have new pizza of the months every month and they are delicious. This month is the Stop, Drop, Eggroll and it is 10/10. Only available for October! The staff is always super welcoming & nice! The facility is clean and you see staff coming to wipe off tables and clean up drink stations regularly! Parking is shared with other businesses but I had no issue.

Service was fast in the diner. They have crayons and coloring sheets for kids and people who want to color while dining.. the pizza is the perfect size for one person and cooked to perfection. You can also purchase hot honey or zip dust to take home.

I love the fact they show you how they make the pizza and it's made to order. The selections are great and having the option of little and big zip if you are really hungry or just want a snack. The service is fast and efficient, staff is friendly. The ambiance was relaxing and calm. Would recommend bringing your family here if you want a quick bite and tasty pizza.

I am very impressed with Azzip, especially the pizzas. I may try some of the sides or desserts again on another visit, but I was underwhelmed on that front. But the pizza here is the main attraction and MAN is it good. I grew up just outside of Evansville, so the Westsider tastes like home. Highly recommend that pizza. Sides we tried - the garlic cheese sticks are just a cheese pizza with a little more garlic, cut into strips. Very good, but... you're kinda already eating that if you got a pizza. The cookie I thought looked a little burnt on first glance, but by the time I tried to get a better look they both were consumed by my kids. So I guess they tasted fine! Service is good, but they're just trying to get through the line. Respectful while doing so, but nothing particularly over the top. Beware, the dining room is big space that echoes a lot and gets loud. It's wide open, yet feels crowded in a way I couldn't put my finger on. Pizzas here are 5 stars, really the only thing holding it back is kicking it up a notch on the sides. Wish I could give this another half star, because the pizza is just that good.

Love Azzip! Design your own pizza. Think Subway for Pizza. Fresh made and quick. We designed our pizzas and were eating them within 10 minutes. Piled on the toppings. I had a Big Zip 11" with pepperoni sausage, olives, banana peppers and cheese. Crisp and excellent. My wife had a Little Zip with a bunch of veggies. Both of us with pizzas and drinks (and I took some home) for just under $25. Totally Recommend! Fun atmosphere and young staff is very friendly.

We gave Azzip a try and have visited a lot since Jan. My daughter absolutely loves this place. I normally mix the garlic butter and marinara. The service is always fast and the staff is really nice. They make it fun for kids to watch their pizzas get made. My daughter loved the happy face they did before putting in her toppings. It was very clean inside and they also have high chairs and booster seats for the littles. There is a parking lot on the side of the building for easy access. We will be back. I'm pretty sure this is my daughter's favorite pizza place.

This is the Subway of pizza joints. They do pizza your way. You can either choose one of their signature pies or make your own. You have to first select your type of pizza (Little Zip, Big Zip, Square Zip), then your sauce (Italian Red, Pesto, Buffalo, Ranch, garlic butter, and BBQ Sauce), then you add your meat (pepperoni, sausage, chicken, bacon, and pork), and then top it off with your veggies (onions, peppers, olives, tomatoes, banana peppers, hot peppers, pineapple, mushrooms and spinach) and finish off with your cheese. They also have salads, cheesy sticks and cookies. There is even beer there.....what, what!!! Anyway, some of the signature creations include the Triple Double, the Italian Stallion, the Funky Chicken, and the Potato Head. I did not feel like coming up with one of my own so I went with the General Yum-Yum. It took about five to ten minutes to have my pie ready. I ate it in the dining area and It was fresh, hot and delicious. It was also very filling and I could not eat all of it, so I got a box and packed up my leftovers. The staff there is very friendly and helpful and the dining area is very clean and trendy. They have a descent sized indoor dining area and an outdoor patio to eat. They also have ample parking in their private lot. This is a neat pizza joint where you can really have it your way. You can make your pizza as healthy or as fattening as you desire. I really like this place. They have good food and excellent service. I recommend giving this place a try.

I'd been curious about Azzip Pizza for quite some time and finally found myself in an adjacent neighborhood and decided to give it a try. Azzip Pizza is an Indiana-based chain that started with its first location in Evansville in early 2014. From their website, Azzip was started thanks to founder Brad Niemeier winning Purdue's Burton D. Morgan Business Plan Competition and a $20,000 prize to kick-off the business idea. He gathered friends and family and got going. That first location has turned into 10 locations now - 8 in Indiana and 2 in Kentucky. This location close to the Indiana/Greenwood boundary is the only current Central Indiana spot. I have to confess that just about everything I expected from Azzip wasn't true. I envisioned it as this hole-in-the-wall ethnic joint. In fact, it's located in a free-standing building that is nicely situated, very well decorated, and staffed by super friendly folks who are probably from Indy or Greenwood. They have a couple accessible parking spots behind the building. The ramp is done very well. I was super impressed - and, yeah, I may have been expecting less. You enter and go into this aisle that leads to the ordering counter. I stopped for a moment to survey the menu since I knew very little about Azzip before I arrived. They offer a Big Zip (11"), Little Zip (8"), Square Zip (Pan, 7"), and also have options for zero carbs, gluten free, and cauliflower. I had a friend who got me a cauliflower crust once. I'm still bitter about it, but hey, if it makes you happy go for it. They have several pizza variations already figured out and they do offer a build your own option that includes a variety of sauces, meats, and veggies. I kept things simple with a Pepperoni Square Zip. They seem to do a steady carry-out and dine-in business. The dining room is bright and awesome and had several tables that worked well for wheelchair users. The beverages are self-serve (soft drinks and iced tea options are here plus they have some cans/bottles). My pizza was a substantial meal sliced into four pieces. I had ordered it for dine-in and they did box it, though that was no big deal. This was a solid meal for a little over $12 for pizza and drink made how I wanted it. It's one of the better pan options around, especially in what I'd call the "fast casual" arena of pizza. The employees were very friendly and the atmosphere is bright, comfy, and offers enough room that those who are being cautious in terms of social distancing can do so pretty easily. It did look like they have an outdoor dining area for better weather or for you psycho snowbirds. Azzip is located just east of US 31 on Stop 11 Road. It's pretty easy to see and parking should be no problem. I'm not quite ready to say this is going to be a destination spot, though there's no doubt I'll stop by when I'm on the Southside.

Our service was appropriately paced for the time it takes to make a Chicago deep dish pizza. I liked the TVs they had in the center of our dining area, which had some pre-season football coverage. The booths have taller partitions so it feels more intimate. I also liked the marquee saying "EAT PIZZA". I will certainly follow instructions there! The pizza we got was "The Special": sausage, green pepper, onion, and mushroom. I thought the pizza was fine, my only thing about Chicago style is that the vegetables can't caramelize like they would on a regular pizza. But that's just a personal opinion. I am pleased with the range of mocktail offerings, which are all $7.

No pizza place from my home state can't compare so Giordano's is always something to look forward to during our 4 day visit. Meat and more meat! This was our table's pizza that was split between 4 people. Honestly can't complain, I love all of their pizza but since we only visit once a year, we always order deep dish style. Never fails and always leaves us full! Carnivore? Then you should definitely order this dish! Make sure it's the biggest one too! Calabrian Chili Honey Chicken Wings Ok so I can't be entirely biased with Giordano's. We wanted to try this out since it was a limited chicken wing flavor and honestly it wasn't the best. I mean it's a pizza joint? They specialize in pizza but we were so hungry that we figured to try it out. Hey, if you love chicken wings or just an enthusiast for wings in general, by all means give this one a shot if it's still available! Overall Always excited to come to Indiana cause I KNOW I'll be eating some damn good pizza. Deep dish style isn't for everyone which is nice that they have their Tavern Style and Thin Crust Pizzas. But since Giordano's specializes in deep dish pizza, it's highly recommended to order deep dish style! can't wait to visit again next year and see what new pizza they'll have! And can't forget about the awesome servers doing their best on those busy convention nights! Y'all the real MVP's! Ambiance is warm and inviting with a bit of high noise since it's also got a bar but it never phases me, if anything it's relaxing since I know I'll be indulging into pizza goodness. I have to laugh that my first review for this location of Bazbeaux, an Indy pizza icon since 1986,…read morewas actually my 300th Yelp review. Now, I'm over 1800 reviews and Yelp has become a huge part of my life. I was attending a nearby event related to Indy Shorts Film Festival and decided I wanted to visit Mass Avenue a bit once the event was over. This was early afternoon. After looking around a bit, I opted for a long-awaited return to Bazbeaux. Of course, a lot has changed in this area in the last few years. Parking prices are up (way up), though it's pretty plentiful with nearby street parking (metered) and parking along Mass Avenue. You also have a couple nearby parking garage options. Finding an accessible spot is fairly easy - curb cuts remain solid in this area and there continue to be some (but not all) crosswalks with audio. As was true nine years ago, accessibility on Mass Avenue can be challenging. That said, I think it has improved. I entered Bazbeaux and immediately noticed some improvement right away. There are two sides - a dining side, a bar side (with tables), and an aisle you can use for carry-out. The interior is warm, calming, and surprisingly intimate. The bar area is a bit louder, it's a bar area after all, but it's still pretty quiet. Service here remains strong. The hostess offered the bar area or a booth. Tables are not all wheelchair friendly, however, there are quite a few accessible options. My server, Samuel, was friendly and attentive without being overwhelming. He paced my meal nicely - I ordered garlic bread, my usual unsweetened iced tea (I think they still serve Mighty Leaf - an unusual choice that I love). I ordered a small (10") pizza with one-topping (pepperoni). I lingered a little bit, though not excessively so like my last visit. This time around, I was alone and my meal time was more traditional. The prices were definitely higher than last time, however, what price isn't higher than nine years ago? They were on park with the market these days and I had no issues with it - I think my meal came in at about $19 for the pizza, garlic bread, and iced tea (and I did get my always desired refill). Bazbeaux is unique in that every location (Mass Ave, Broad Ripple, Carmel) is located along the Monon Trail. They all have outside dining options, as well. They serve beer and wine, sandwiches, pizza, and more. One thing I have to say - accessibility is improved. I was noticeably bothered by it the last time I was here. This time around, I was comfortable and could easily function (I did not try the bathroom). While I could still see it being a bit difficult when packed, I arrived at an ideal time and was quite comfortable. The food was good, the service was very good, the prices were fair, and the atmosphere was nice and peaceful after a busy morning event. It really hit the spot. So, yeah. Last time around, I gave Bazbeaux a 3-star review. This time, I'm forking over that 4th star.
