Talk about neat! The best way to describe Azzip Pizza is imagine they combined a Subway/Chipotle with pizza making. You get to watch and create your pizza and they do it right in front of you, which I throughly liked. The inside definitely feels like a Chipotle too, which isn't bad at all! It has the open ceilings and it just feels incredibly open on the inside, and there is also room to take your food outside and eat. The pizza itself was good! I got the "Funky Chicken", which is essentially a buffalo chicken pizza, and I really liked it! Wasn't anything mind blowing, but it doesn't have to be when it comes to pizza. I got the Little Zip (8 inch) and that was definitely plenty for just myself and for $6, you really can't go wrong with that. I'm more than intrigued to come back and keep trying. I'm hoping for a location to come downtown or to West Lafayette in the future. If it were within walking distance, I'd be visiting there far more often. read more

First time trying this new place, and I was pleased. Took another reviewer's suggestion of getting extra sauce, and I'm happy I did. I think it would have needed it. But with the extra, it was a good mix. The crust was thin but crispy and tasty. I found it interesting the mozzarella was slices instead of shredded, but it melted well & tasted great. Toppings seemed fresh. I got chicken, spinach and garlic. My only complaint would be the spinach got burned (to the point of dissolving at touch), which is why I gave it four stars, so I wouldn't get that topping moving forward. But the people were great and patient with first-time customers, and the prices were reasonable that I'll definitely head back. Like that they serve beer, too. Beer + pizza = good night. read more

I was on a super long Lyft ride and found myself dropping off in Perdue University land. Had no idea where to go eat and this place popped up in the area. I was pleasantly surprised! Can't say it was the best pizza I've had but it was very tasty. It was like Blaze pizza with less topping to choose from but a better crust. Convenient and inexpensive. Great place!! The cauliflower pizza crust is a great alternative to the traditional crust. I order the cauliflower crust salad pizza topped with all the veggies. It was delicious topped with their hot sauce and habanero honey. I took the option of salad on the side instead of having it on the pizza. It was generally dressed with the house vinaigrette and topped with whatever I chose. Very generous portion size for the price. There were plenty of leftovers for later. I highly recommend this place for a filling, healthy, and quick meal!! read more

We were passing through and after over 12 hours of solid driving and arriving at our hotel at 7:30, we were HUNGRY. I (mom) thought that there was a Portillo's here which we were gunning for. It is sort of the subway approach to pizza -- stand in a line and they add the ingredients that you want. put it on a conveyer belt and a couple minutes late, we had 3 pizzas for 3 very different tastes. Prices were very reasonable. We had eaten at Arby's earlier in the day and this was cheaper and WAAAAAAY faster than Arby's. Each pizza was delicious -- even my (very picky) younger son loved his! Visited Azzip Pizza today around 2pm. This was my first visit. The restaurant is well lit and clean. I saw the owner wiping tables and changing the trash. That dedication to the customer experience from an owner is always a key to a business' success. I ordered an 11" Italian Sausage and Pepperoni pizza. Nothing fancy, no veggies or special sauces. The ordering process was simple and the cashier was very personable and helpful. From the time I ordered my pizza to the time I was paying for it was less than five minutes. They have a good system. The pizza was hot and filling but not over-filling. It was perfect. They have Pepsi products which are not always my favorite but they had a good variety plus Triple XXX rootbeer and a variety of draft and bottled beer. They are beyond kind and just genuinely happy to see you. The location is far for me, but the service and food quality is worth it. Azzip is my favorite of quick service, line style pizza. As a vegan, their vegan cheese and sausage is the best in the business. They automatically switch gloves, pizza cutters, trays, etc. without asking and are more than accommodating. Tried to get in on the evening of the grand opening, and were greeted at the door with the unfortunate news that they were going to run out of dough before we could get our pizza! However, the greeters were giving out a voucher for a free pizza on another night and a free (delicious!) cookie. We came back another night and enjoyed our free pizza without waiting in any line.
