They were busy as usual so we ordered to go. We ordered a grilled pork banh mi, grilled chicken banh mi, banh cuon, and grilled pork rice plate. Everything was very tasty and delicious. A favorite for Vietnamese food in the area that's for sure. Can't wait til they open their new location soon. Even tho it won't be in CV..I don't mind driving to the Stack. I still need to try their other items including their pho.

My bf and I came an hour before closing and it was packed, but were able to get a seat as soon as we walked in. They have plenty of seating for large groups or smaller parties. The food here never disappoints! Ordered the large rare beef pho with extra beef on the side, the shrimp spring rolls and the fried potstickers. The pho is the best I've ever had. The broth is flavorful and seasoned to perfection. The soup is packed with meat and noodles. The spring rolls are fresh, the ingredients they use really make a difference in quality of the food. The fried potstickers are crunchy and delicious and the sauce they paired it with was sweet and balanced the flavor of the potstickers. Even though it was busy, the kitchen was quick and we had our food within minutes of ordering. This place has so much more than pho, I'll be back to try more from their extensive menu!

I created this Yelp account after I read so many disrespectful and nonsense comments from some of…read moreyou for this restaurant. Somebody has to stand up for these businesses!!! This is what happens when you never hear the word "NO" growing up. I love love love this restaurant. Food is great. Service is great. Yes of course, sometimes the foods are not as good as the usual, but that's normal for any restaurants. We are all humans. We cannot keep 100% quality at all times. Even when you go to a 5-star restaurant, you will be faced with this reality. Get over it! For those people who complain how the prices went up or the quantity went down, you should just stay at home and cook your own food. For some of us who don't have our head up so deep in b*tth*le, we know that prices EVERYWHERE have gone up ever since pandemic. In order for restaurants and other businesses to survive, they need to either increase the price or reduce the quantity. For those who keep saying this is your favorite restaurant but then again you complain about the quantity or the price or both, COOK AT HOME THEN!!! Here is Economy 101. Businesses exist to make money. I know that it's a BIG SURPRISE for some of you. If they don't make money, they will close. If you don't understand that, maybe you should go back to school. I really hope more people stand up for what's right. Not just for this restaurant, for others as well (whether they are restaurants, car wash, etc). I see so many complaints but rarely anyone defend them.

Flavor was on point. Orders: Eggroll-beautifully crisp, filled w/vegetables & meat, this is a great appetizer we haven't gotten in a while & it didn't disappoint. Pho Rare Steak & Meatball- full of flavor in the broth but as mentioned before it was surprising to see my meatballs cut. Steak was sparse but good. Pho Play is convenient & fast & a place visit periodically.

I was going to get Pho but the Bun Rieu looked pretty appealing and it's not a usual item to be offered so I opted for Bun Rieu. My daughter got garlic noodles with beef instead. Both items were very good and filling. I like the fact that I can choose the size of my Bun Rieu as most places only offer one size and it's usually for Pho rather than Bun Rieu. Might try their Bun Bo Hue next time. The place gets pretty packed around lunch time so it's a good sign that it's a popular joint for lunch. We arrived just after 12pm. If we were a little later, we might not get a table at all. There was plenty of parking in the strip mall. There's a cheap gas Arco just around the corner.

This visit was finally my lucky day, and I'm glad I stuck with it because it was worth the wait. The restaurant was clean, welcoming, and had a comfortable atmosphere. The staff greeted us with a smile, answered our questions, and were friendly throughout the visit. I ordered a bowl of pho with a side of spring rolls, and both were delicious. Everything tasted fresh, the flavors were well balanced, and the portions were satisfying without feeling overly heavy. One feature I really appreciated was the ability to choose from a small, medium, or large bowl. It's a nice option whether you're looking for a lighter lunch or a hearty meal. There are still several menu items I'd like to try, so I'll definitely be back. My only suggestion is to be patient if you're driving because parking can be a challenge during busy times. Once you get inside, though, the food and service make it well worth the effort.

Vietnamese restaurants are ubiquitous in the Bay Area, making it difficult to find places that really hit the spot. No fancy castle or horse-drawn carriage here, but I like how casual the inside of the restaurant is. The Princess and the Pea walked so we could run because there are a handful of comfortable seating arrangements. The interior leans more modern while still paying homage to traditional Vietnamese decor. Pho is great and all, but the Three Little Bears have found a new dish that's neither too hot nor too cold -- Bo Ne. Bo Ne is one of my favorite Vietnamese dishes, and it's hard to find places that serve it. Even fewer places do it just right, making me feel like Goldilocks. I love the banh mi that comes with the Bo Ne because it has a thin, crunchy, flaky crust with a fluffy, soft inside that absorbs the sauce perfectly. The steak was tender and paired perfectly with the pâté, giving you that satisfying flavor that constantly has you reaching for more. Once you place your order, the food comes out super fast. No Big Bad Wolf here to blow your wallet down because the prices are affordable and the portions are large. Huff and puff as hard as you can, but this place is here to stay. I would definitely recommend it, and I'll definitely be back. I hope you enjoy this place as much as I do.

This is my favorite place to grab a #9 grilled pork bahn mi. Their baguettes grew bigger too but their portion size of filling grew as well. He said sandwich = bahn mi; then we task him to provide directions to his "sandwich" place; sure enough he got us there. We walk in and one of the gals working greeted my FIL by name, only to find out he was a regular here over the years! Menu is simple and sandwiches are affordable ($8). Me and my wife go with plate lunches which you pick an items you want from what is currently available behind the serving window. And their serving portions are generous. My wife had the squid and a mixed vegetable dish while I ordered the grilled marinated chicken and shrimp both plates come with rice (steamed or fried). Each dish is nicely seasoned with your typical Asian flavors and had a home-cooked style and taste. My FIL ate half his sandwich quickly and enjoyed his Asian mix-mix drink with jellies & coconut. Everyone had leftovers, and a full stomach! Until our next visit
