I love this gym so much and I want to stick around Fort Worth as long as I can so that I can remain…read morea member! I am currently doing the 6 Week Challenge. It is currently week 4 and I feel amazing!! Coming here is the highlight of my day, and I look forward to coming in, seeing new friends, and being pushed to greatness by the instructors and team. All of the instructors are educated, carry their own strengths, and create workouts that are challenging, doable, and that produce results! I have a zeal for coming to the gym that I never had before. I have seen the results since day 1, starting with my energy and mindset shifts, and then in no time the inches and lbs began to shed. I love that when I come here, they know me and call me by name, we interact and push one another to go above and beyond, and anytime I have a question - all of the staff are able and willing to answer. After your first day, you will feel like a part of a family of familiar and genuine people who want to see you win. Everyone is cheering you on, and pushing you to your fullest potential, and in the process your are building bonds and creating friendships. It is true that "in these four walls your life will change" and I am grateful that I invested in myself and trusted them on that promise. I won't stop until I reach my goal. I'm so grateful that I found this Camp and I can't wait to see what I look like a year from now!

I drove by this location and was familiar with them as I had looked into it several years ago but was unable to commit. Now that I had the time to commit a d the drive to lose the weigh I jumped at the opportunity and signed up for the 6 week 20lb challenge. I hit the mark and am rolling over to continue to lose some more weight and continue with a healthier lifestyle. I feel great and seeing everyone in the classes working hard towards the same goals motivates you to continue, to want to come to class even when you might feel like passing that morning. Put in the work and the dedication and don't make any excuses and you too can lose the weight. No surgeries needed, just hard work, drive and determination and you too can't get to your goal. I'm weeks away from hitting 47 and several years ago I was weighing over 300lbs and didn't think I'd ever get to where I am now. All you have to do is get up and put in the work.

I've been a member of the Strouds fitness family for 10 years. During that time I've dabbled in…read moreother box or boutique gyms, but no matter what I always find myself back at Strouds. Kirk cares enough about his members to learn their names, their stories, and always welcomes you back with a smile. The gym itself doesn't scream "saunas and shiny wax floors" but you can tell as soon as you walk in that Strouds has been put together with intention and held together by the community that calls Strouds home. The equipment is well loved and not the newest, but there's a little bit of everything. Cardio Queen? Jump on the treadmill, stationary bike, or stair master. Meat Head? There's an entire room dedicated to being stronger than the person next to you. Fighter? There's also a room for punching and rolling around on the floor. See! Strouds has everything and welcomes everyone. You'll be better off for joining, promise!

Look this gym used to be my favorite place to be, and honestly even tho i am leaving i still wish…read morethe best for it. There are some things to look out for if you are considering this gym: 1. Be careful and read the contracts, i think they do an okay job with telling you, but remember canceling you have to "give" (whatever that's considered) a 30 day notice 2. When i left, there was no grace, the young blonde lady had some attitude and wasn't really friendly at all, (after i've been trying cancel for months but was pushed back or avoided some how) and that attitude kind of hurt because it made me feel like if i wanted to come back, i don't want to come back to that. In conclusion, it used to be a serious powerlifting/body building gym to be at, but it's slightly declined with that culture (i believe it's still there tho, and i've heard good things about their dojo) and if you aren't looking to go to a gym for that, than quite frankly the price just doesn't make sense, it will be easily 30+ dollars a month maybe a little cheaper if you get a contract. but there are gyms out there (and soon to be down the street) that are cheaper and with better equipment and facilities at that. look i've had some serious good workouts in the past there, and for the most part there is kind people, (some a little judgy) i just hate the bad taste left from that awfully passive aggressive conversation about canceling. but honestly Strouds is trying and you can tell, but just be aware of all that. Good luck

Where to begin? I absolutely do not recommend signing up. (You can go for free with a friend if you…read morefeel like exercising today.) They make it very difficult to get out of the contract. They don't let you tell them in advance that you would like to cancel at the end of your term. You have to call AFTER your last payment (so you'll likely end up paying for additional time.) They told me that it is 'my responsibility to abide by their policies'. However they apparently can change it up on you anytime they want. They closed both of my locations near my house and at my preferred times. So they've unapologetically forced me to find a different trainer, location, and times that work for me. They don't have options on Sundays. They have very few options on Fridays and Saturdays. At least at a gym, it's WAY cheaper, it's indoors, and if a class isn't available when you are, you can still do your own workout.

My friend even offered to pay, that is how badly they wanted me to try it. They tell you it is for all fitness levels, and to go at your own pace. However, it was may too much for my bad knee, I had to stop, and they called me out in front of everyone. " Come on, quit being a wimp, let's move it" I was humiliated. Not to mention, my knew was killing me. I was of the assumption that part of the appeal, was they did fun activities disguised the exercise. Also not true! It was general calisthenics. I have nothing against hard work, but I prefer to sweat and work out at my own pace, in private. This was not for me. But that is not why I am rating this with 1 star. I quit going, and I would still get text messages from the trainer stating they were glad to see me at class, and I was doing great. I should be proud of myself. So they are a bunch of phonies, because I wasn't even at class. When my fee ran, out I began to be harassed. As in receiving numerous calls, text, and emails trying to get me to re-enroll. Even after I told them to stop. I had to get down right rude with them. In on day, more than 3 months after my enrollment ended, I received 5 phone calls, 23 text messages, and 6 emails.
