Got my GX470 320k tboned on the right side with one year of ownership and pre maintenance work that I have been doing. I didnt want it being totaled so I went to Basil to see if he was able to help me out. Basil def helped me out he went above and beyond using OEM parts and making the car look like it came of the assembly line. Def recommend him for all your body shop needs.

I am so glad I chose BAM Collision for my car repairs after being in an accident. Throughout the whole repair process, Basil and his team were communicative and great to work with. The whole right side of my car was damaged and needed to be replaced. Once repaired, the car looked amazing and runs great! I would highly recommend BAM for all repairs.

I crashed my wife's "baby" 2019 Toyota Sequoia and it looked pretty bad. My employer uses B.A.M. Automotive exclusively and highly recommended them. I was not disappointed they got us through supply chain delays and my underwhelming claim adjuster. The owner constantly tried to bridge the gaps and stay on top of the process even letting me know when my insurance representative was causing delays. At the end of it all they delivered a beautiful restored ride. There attention to detail was impressive.

This place was my choice when I got into a front end fender bender. Frame, suspension, airbags, cross body, all that, trashed. I'm& I initially thought this thing is gonna be totaled no way ima get it back. I own a 2017 challenger 392 shaker edition. The price on this thing is above the 40k mark. When my insurance said If I had a collision shop in mind that I wanted to go thru, I had been recommended by a friend that this place uses all OEM parts. Mind you this is important cause OEM it'll keep the value of the vehicle, aftermarket will not obviously. So when I took my car in I knew they were gonna take care of it in good hands. Right now times are a bit hard cause auto parts on a shortage. Repairs are held back a lot due to this but I knew they were doing they're best. The owner of the place, Basil, kept contact with me the entire way: what had arrived, what was on order, what was installed, what department it was at (paint, detail, on the lift). I even got an opportunity to see it from time to time to see the progress. Ive had my car back now for a month and I couldn't be happier. Everything about the car looks good & I've had no issues & it's all because they ensured this thing was back to 100% before handing the key back to me thru test drives & inspections. I highly recommend this place if; 1. You wanna keep the value of the vehicle, 2. If you want real time updates & 3. If you want to ensure all the parts are kept like the original. My insurance is GEICO & they have a pretty close bond with BAM auto from what I've heard, like I said I highly recommend this group of people to fix any issue you've had.

This is definitely the best decision. I made the shop repaired my 2023 Lexus I was rear ended and was extremely upset, but bringing my car here was the best decision. My car was repaired thoroughly professionally and overall it looks as if it was just purchased from the dealer again the shop kept me informed all-around worked as my insurance to make sure my car was up to par. I also got a detail. Once the car was picked up, I was beyond happy. Definitely recommending

Honestly I've gotten hit a few times and every time something happened to my car I would take it to B.A.M Auto Collusion where they fix it like nothing ever happened. If you want your vehicle to get fixed the right way this is the place.

The past accident and future recovery.

They also have strong industry relationships that help them source quality parts at fair prices, which can save customers money compared to going directly to a dealership. What stood out most to me was their transparency. They took the time to explain what actually needed to be fixed versus what could wait. The work was done professionally, communication was great throughout the process, and I never felt pressured into unnecessary repairs. If you're looking for a trustworthy mechanic in Escondido that does quality work at fair prices, I'd absolutely recommend Fair Auto Repair. 2011 Honda Accord 2 Door EX-L V6

On a positive note, the shop is very clean and gated, so it is a safe place to leave your car overnight Nevertheless, I will not return to the shop. My experience found them to be dishonest. I brought my 2022 Volkswagen Taos (approximately 35,000 miles) in for a routine oil change and was told that my rear brake rotors needed to be replaced immediately because "new brake pads would not apply to the rotors." At the time this did not make sense because I did not hear any screeching on my brakes and had no issues with my brakes prior to this appointment. However, I was in a time crunch and did not have time to visit an auto shop anytime soon for a second recommendation. I was about to start a full-time commute driving 60 miles each way five days a week. Because of this, I went ahead with the repairs. The way the need for replacement was presented made me feel like my vehicle was unsafe to drive if I didn't authorize the repair. Every time I mentioned driving to Orange County, Fred's response only furthered my fear. Once the repairs were underway, I began to question the pricing and necessity for replacement. It was at that point that I asked for pictures of the rotors, and then I asked the shop to give me my rotors and brake pads when the repairs were completed. Before I left the shop, I took a closer look at the rotors myself. While the shop owners did an excellent job of trying to convince me at the time that these rotors needed to be replaced, my first instinct was that they looked fine and did not need to be replaced. They had normal wear, and as I ran my fingers over them they had no deep grooves, no significant scoring, and no obvious damage. I took my rotors with me and had them reviewed by a friend who owns a repair shop in Orange County. There was nothing indicating the rotors were at the end of their useful life. It was at that point I knew I needed to write a review. To be clear, the shop failed to provide any measurements showing the rotors were below the manufacturer's minimum thickness or warped, replacing them did not appear to be an obvious necessity. The long-term effects of this experience will be felt every time I drive my car. When business owners look out for their bottom line over the needs of their customers, they often overlook the long-term consequences. Lost business, bad reputation, long-term loss. Being a woman, I assume they did not think I would do my research and dive this deep on the situation. But I do not like to call dishonesty out without having all the facts first. It was a poor miscalculation on their part. What disappointed me most was not that the shop recommended additional work, there are certainly situations where rotor replacement is appropriate. It was the fear-based approach used to sell the repair. As a customer, I rely on professionals to provide objective information, explain why a repair is needed, and present the evidence so I can make an informed decision. Instead, I left feeling pressured into believing my brakes were unsafe. It is experiences like this that have taught me to always double check what mechanics tell me. I value honest recommendations and transparent communication. If the rotors had been measured and shown to be below specification, or if there had been another objective reason they required replacement, I would have appreciated that explanation. Unfortunately, that wasn't my experience. I encourage others to seek a second opinion before authorizing expensive repairs based solely on verbal recommendations.

After a lot of Yelp research, I found Escondido Auto Tech. I brought my vehicles for a smog and got great service each time. Found them easy to work with too. Next, I brought in my car for maintenance and a list of repairs and items to check on. Let me not bore with the mundane details, just know: -they took good care of the car, addressing every item on my list. -Frank, the service manager, took the time to discuss the list of repairs with me and explained what they would do-to make sure we were on the same page with everything. He listens! There were three auto repair companies right next door to my office in RB but after reviewing Yelp, I discovered that there was a much much better one a few miles away. Trusting Yelp, I immediately headed over to Ricks RB Auto because his reviews were not only much much better but the praise to the quality of work gave me a very high comfort level. I was not disappointed. Driving into his shop is not that impressive being part of a shell station but the staff were efficient and friendly even though they were closing. They wasted no time diagnosing the issue. It was a leak in the cooling system in the rear section of the engine. Rick made me comfortable that he'll take care of it ASAP. The very next day the car was ready and Rick mentioned he ran into some issues. It turned out that it wasn't just a hose but a special water pump attached to the hybrid system that was cracked into two! Turned out this is a $900 part because Hyundai sells it as part of a larger piece that connects to the manifold, so he went to another source and found a refurbished part for just $200! Saving me $700. He not only saved me a huge amount of money had I taken it elsewhere but made several important recommendations on belt replacement as the car was aging. I told him he is going to be the only company to look after this car from now on! Well believe it or not, the car overheated again a few days later and off it went back to Rick. He assured me they will take care of it and boy did they. It turned out to be another hose failure in a different part of the engine. He not only replaced it and the coolant but charged me absolutely nothing!!! Even though the problem was brand new. I'm sold and I will highly recommend Rick to my friends and to anyone else in San Diego. It's so rare to see such service anywhere.

I just surprise after so much effort it still there. Not necessarily their expertise or not. Brakes were taking care of and more as it was my original request.
