For ~20$ he let me sample almost everything on the menu, including all the sauces. The New Orleans sauce was by far my favorite, the armadillo eggs and banana pudding were amazing. The only saving grace was that the sliced brisket was able to be dunked in the sauce to give it flavor. The sauce is the only reason I rated this meal a 3/5 - while it is a very watery sauce, the flavors blend nicely together and there is a slight kick at the end! Overall though, if meat needs sauce to be decent, it's probably not great bbq in the first place. Maybe this was just an off-day for the restaurant?
