We've been there 3 times now, and loved it. My Uncle was from Greece and this brings back so many memories.

I was very impressed with the Greek food! I was in a party of at least 15 people and the service was excellent! Everyone loved their food. I can't wait to come back. The moussaka was divine. The béchamel on top was creamy and tasty. The meat, potatoes and eggplant were seasoned nicely. I loved it so much that I couldn't stop eating it. My leftovers kept getting smaller and smaller. Haven't been here in awhile and missed it. The menu is still huge, even after Covid shut downs where so many restaurants trimmed their menus considerably. I chose the Greek salad with grilled chicken. It was delicious! Veggies were fresh. Lots of toppings among the lettuce. Tangy dressing. Greek salad from a Greek owner/chef is always good. To start this was during a graduation rush, so it was quite busy. The server forgot a drink order, didn't know a meal came with a soup, then forgot to bring the soup once we mentioned it, didn't bring the ranch I asked for, brought a fried pork sandwich that was supposed to be grilled , when we said it was the wrong one she said they don't have a grilled version (the choice was on the menu), then the grilled pork came undercooked. She took about 10-15 minutes to check on us and get mustard for a child's cheeseburger, brought honey mustard instead (though she fixed her mix up pretty quick after). I tried to get the attention of other servers to help, but they kept ignoring me (not my table, not my problem??). Our teen didn't like the lobster ravioli not because it was bad, just because they didn't like it (had never had it before), but we didn't ask them to take it off the bill. A lady came over to us to ask about it and then had taken it off when we received out bill. Then who I believe to be the owner came out and yelled at us, said you can't just order the most expensive thing on the menu and send it back and not want to pay for it. We said we never asked them to take it off the bill. We kept trying to tell him that but he just WOULD NOT BACK DOWN. At that point, we were just trying to pay and leave. First time eating here. Service by Blake was excellent. The food was very good. Nice selection of draft beers, with flights available. Always a plus! Really nice ambiance. But here is why I will not be back- the owner has a 3% up charge for using credit/debit cards. The first bill had one rate and when they ran my card and brought the receipt for me to sign, the amount was different. So I asked my waiter about it and he explained that George, the owner, decided that the customer would be responsible for the credit card fees. George- you lost a customer. And maybe I'm only one customer speaking up, but I'm sure that I'm not the only one who thinks that this business model seems cheap and tacky for such a high scale establishment in this small town. read more

very good food, portions are reasonable. But it is very expensive. So dont eat dinner there very much. The prime rib was good, but the amount of fat that was on my piece of meat was more fat than meat ratio, that is something ypu wouldnt expect for the price your paying. This was the first time we had gone to this place and it was mediocre at best. First of all, what is the theme here? Is it a steakhouse? Italian? Greek? SO confused. Pick one thing and do it really good. Not a million so-so things. Let's start off with drinks... they were out of their sangria... how? It is wine and juices, go to the store! Then they were out of some ingredients they needed to make their jalapeno margaritas. It was 4:30pm on a Saturday, come on people! Then my husband ordered a double captain and diet.... it came in a rocks glass. Like what???? Okay so we had a couple appetizers...Tex-Mex Eggrolls, Potato Skins and Bleu Cheese Chips. Everything was just okay. You can tell that most things on their menu come frozen from a Cisco truck! On to the main courses.... We had a big party and some got multiples but here were the main ones: -Petite Steak & Cake.... the steak was delicious!!! Crab cake was very obviously a frozen item and it sure tasted like it. -Chicken & Waffles.... this one made me laugh. The menu says, "two breaded jumbo chicken wings".... yeah they were simply two normal sized chicken tenders. It was just okay. -Greek Gyro Plate.... this goes back to what is the theme? Pick a theme and do it well, not mediocre. I have never ever seen a gyro plate that did not have tomatoes, onions, olives and feta cheese. Like come on people. Also again, meat was obviously frozen before. -New Orleans Pasta.... it's fine if you aren't looking for a cajun dish LOL. This had little to no flavor let alone cajun flavor. Needs a new name for sure. Ready for the worst one of all??? -Pork Tenderloin Sandwich.... this was NOT a pork tenderloin sandwich, this was a giant pork chop, breaded and put on a bun. This was a disgrace to pork tenderloin sandwiches. It was hard to eat, not good and NOT A PORK TENDERLOIN SANDWICH. We will not be back. Seriously save your money and go ANYWHERE else. read more

Wow, so bad!! Went in 3 hours after a ballgame. We sat for an hour and a half after ordering, waiting for our food. We didn't complain, they were busy. But then our food arrived ICE COLD!! I sent mine back, but as we waited for it to be remade, we discovered that nothing at the table could be eaten, it was so bad. When my replacement was delivered, we asked for a manager... who should have delivered the replacement with an apology and a discount. Instead, he takes 10 minutes to get there and says NOTHING, even though he knew I had sent my food back. Still being completely nice, I told him the other plates were also cold and not edible, (I mean I had nachos and the chips were completely soggy and the cheese was completely solidI. My husband had pasta that had been microwaved too hot and rubbery, my son had a sandwich that also had cheese that was cold and greasy from sitting so long.) I politely pointed out that he would not want us to pay for the meal.... No apology, no nothing. He said, "you eat it, you pay for it!" I pointed out that we did not eat it, we couldn't because it was not edible. He said they were very busy. Still polite, I said that was why we waited an hour and a half after ordering without complaining. But then, our food should have been delivered hot. He looked at me like he didn't understand my expectations and said "we are busy" again. Which, actually.... by this point, they were not. The large restaurant was almost empty. Still, he never apologized, he just kept saying, "You eat it, you pay for it!" Again, I pointed out that we did not eat it. "You eat it, you pay for it!" So, I said, "OK, we didn't so we won't!" And we walked out. A waitress spoke to me by the door and I shared what happened. She was outraged and asked who our server was. I said it wasn't the server, IT WAS THE OWNER!! Then a child joined the conversation and said, "he's been doing this for 60 years, he knows what he's doing!! I said, "maybe it's time to retire." Oh... and it was so cold in the restaurant that it made my back ache, my ice tea was delivered hot, when I politely asked for a cup of ice it was delivered in a steaming hot cup, and my food was not delivered the way I ordered it EITHER TIME!! read more

They have their own parking lot, can be limited during dinner time. There's also street parking. The service was good. The environment was nice and up scale. The food was good. Huge disappointment. A waste of 2 hours and left with no food. We waited 15 minutes at the table before we were greeted by anyone even though several servers passed the table without ANY eye contact. Finally we ordered and after waiting for our food for one hour we saw our server put our food on the table across from us, check her list, pick it up and bring it to our table. My husband's steak was cold, overcooked and not edible. My burger and fries were luke warm at best. And my favorite part was when she dropped the plates on our table she turned to tell my daughter that they no longer have the meal that she ordered!!! The manager came out with barely an apology and said it would be at least 45 min to make something else for my daughter because the kitchen was so backed up. There was no way to fast track even though we had been there now for close to 2 hours!!! We had no appetite after this mess. Initially felt pricey but my hamburger was humongous and grilled well; and, the onion strings were crispy with a tasty seasoning. A companion's club sandwich was also well crafted and had a large side of fries. No complaints. Service was also very good. Large menu with a variety of food types. We actually ate here 2 nights in a row. I had the Ribeye on the first night, wasn't the best, but was ok. The second night, I had the lasagna, which was pretty good. For desert we had the cookie skillet it was was one of the best I've ever had. The cookie skillet was the main reason for the 5 star rating, otherwise it would have been 4 stars. The waitresses were wonderful both nights. read more

We waited about 45 minutes for our order to be taken by our waitress. Our food was delivered after a long wait by someone other than our waitress. Before all meals were delivered, it was determined that our food arrived barely warm. Some food was returned to be reheated. Some food arrived colder than it originally was when it was delivered. One side was not delivered. We asked about it several times and finally received it to go. I requested to speak to the manager but was told that they were too busy. I followed them around until they would talk to me. We were offered a free dessert but declined. It's understandable for having to wait when they are busy, but it was never mentioned and all parties made it appear that the fault was ours. The only fault there was that we came in to enjoy a nice meal in a nice place. We won't be back anytime soon. read more

Very large menu and prices are fair for the portions provided. I had the cob salad and it was huge and VERY tasty. The sweet tea wasn't sweet, but not a big issue. During two separate visits to NW Missouri, I have dined at AG. I highly recommend! The menu is massive and has a choice to fit every appetite. Each time I have eaten at AG, it has been in a party of 5-6 and everyone leaves happy with their choice and serving sizes. I must admit that I long to try the desserts but no one has been hungry enough to even share a sweet. On my visit last weekend I had the pecan crusted chicken salad w a cup of chicken and wild rice soup. It was all "smack your mama" good. I will definitely order again. I love A and G. It is my go to spot to eat when I am in town. The food is amazing and the wait staff is always nice, professional and they have speedy service. I tend to get the BBQ Chicken wrap and garlic mashed potatoes as they make the best BBQ chicken wrap I have ever had. We have tried other things, no matter what it has been amazing. read more

Stopped by for lunch after one of the kids extracurricular activities. Very nice establishment. They had a real pretty outdoor area if you like eating with bugs and sun and sweating. Not me. If that's your thing you would for sure like it. Inside it was very nice...kinda classy. A huge diverse menu. It took forever to figure out what to eat since there were so many options and everything sounded good. The table ordered a burger, chicken salad sandwich and lasagna. Apps were some shrimp deal in a skillet with cheese and bread and a crab cake. Sides were fries and Caesar salad. Everything and I mean everything was excellent! Thumbs up! 5 star! Oh and I almost forgot, the sangria was exceptional. Waitress was great, place was clean.
