I visited this shop for the first time ever. I usually see the drive thru line overflowing into the street but I saw my opportunity with only one car waiting and drove on through. I got a chocolate chip donut and the person that helped me was friendly and efficient. The donut was delicious and seemed reasonably priced. I could see inside and the floor looked clean. There were two other employees and someone that looked to be the owner or manager. They were all kind and warm to the customers they were serving at the counter. This is one of the best donut shops for miles and miles. I am particular and very picky about my donuts. Most taste like old oil which is very gross, but not this place. The donuts are always fresh and fluffy, no yucky aftertaste. The ham and cheese croissant is so yummy, cheesy, and gooey. The people that operate this joint are so sweet and kind. I've come here quite a few times and they have a great selection of donuts and sandwiches. In addition, they have a great drink selection. I contacted B&B the other day to see if they do custom donuts and THEY DO!! They made a large #5 donut for my son's 5th birthday and it was PERFECT! Another thing I must mention is the efficiency in with this business operates. They get really busy in the morning and the handle the traffic with ease. The drive-thru is open 24/7, hence the long line to purchase donuts is almost as long as the line to get gasoline at Costco across the street! The dine-in area is open from 5am to 11pm. I opted to walk in. They have many donuts on display. I settled on a Glazed and a French Cruller. I was in and out in under five minutes. The wait was much longer at the drive-thru! B&B donuts serves not only donuts (yeast, cake, Long John, filled, etc.) that are fresh, but they also have bagels, muffins, croissants (plain, ham & cheese, strawberry cream cheese, etc.), ice cream, and drinks (soda, juice, coffee, smoothies). My chocolate covered twisted Long John was soft, fluffy, and topped with the right amount of chocolate glaze. I haven't had/seen a Long John in forever, and this one definitely hit the spot! I also tried a Long John stuffed with cinnamon apple pieces. Reminded me of an apple pie. Good, but on the heavy side, so I was over it by the time I go through a little less than half of the donut. Everyone enjoyed the other donuts ordered as well. Service was good, pretty standard. There were a few other individuals in the donut shop and both workers did a good job at getting everyone served and out the door. For a donut shop with a drive thru, this place can get super busy sometimes. If you're coming after 11PM, it's drive thru only. But whether you're there early enough to go inside or just stay in the drive thru, they've got tons of options for you. Aside from a decently sized selection of donuts, they've got breakfast sandwiches, bagel sandwiches, smoothies, boba, ice cream, ice cream sandwiches, there's something for everyone. My mom swears this is the best donut place in town. My husband swears that their croissant breakfast sandwiches are bomb.com. I unfortunately ordered the cronut, which was a BIG mistake. No fluffy interior in this, which is what makes their donuts so good. And was topped in chocolate, which I wasn't a fan of. I should have ordered a regular donut with the fluffy interior. I got a bite of one of their fruity pebbles donuts and understood - it was very fluffy and light inside, fluffier and lighter than your average donut. My mom always orders the bear claw when she is here. And they are huge! The drive-through window is awesome! Been coming here for years and they're still making delicious donuts! My favorite are their large apple fritters. This is a donut many places have trouble making but they're good here! My husband has gotten their Boston cream donut and their iced maple glazed donut and he liked both. The Boston cream has a nice topping of chocolate. If you've never gotten an iced maple glazed donut it's basically the flavors of pancakes and syrup but in a bar you can eat without a fork and knife. Delicious Blueberry Donuts in a rare Googie/Space-Age Architectural style building from the 60s. B&B has now occupied a space for a former "Burger Chef" franchise for a very long time. Open 24 hours. B an B had two kinds of blueberry donuts both of which were really good and worth trying. They had a more purist/traditional version which was tasty and a more modern version with light purple glaze. I've seen both at other places but they were quite good here. Paired well with their diner-coffee, good way to start the day. Sweet food + rare architecture. Burger Chef was #2 for fastfood right behind McDonalds in the 60s and all of their restaurants shared this architectural style inspired by Futurism and the optimism from the Atomic and Space Age. Great to see it not destroyed and embraced by the donut shop. For people looking to photograph there is some landscaping directly in front of the store which keeps you from taking a front-on shot. read more

It's as if that building on that corner was meant to populate donuts for the life of the land it stands on. Well, it did not disappoint. We got a half dozen plus a dozen donut holes and some lottery tickets. Sweet Moses. What a great idea to stop in. Even if I don't hit the lottery I feel we hit the taste bud lottery. Their donuts are like baked goods. Must try and be a regular here. Unfortunately for us we live 26 miles away. The lady who helped us had a wonderful energy about her. They also have a drive through. If I could give them more I would. I've been going here for a couple years now. It's 24hr so it's always there and the donuts are ALWAYS popping out and never get stale. I love their old fashioned and buttermilk. Those donuts are so hard to get right and I every time I'm somewhere else I always ask for those two donuts to test their baker's skills. NOBODY does it like B & B Donuts. The frosting is generous, the dough is always soft and fresh. Never have I got a donut overdone either. They are well none for making fresh croissant sandwiches as well which always slows down the drive through. But I'd rather wait a little longer in the drive through knowing they are working with fresh ingredients. Finally, it has multiple family members working there and it's so easy to get to know the salespeople there. Always sweet and friendly! I can't say enough. I haven't tried out their Vietnamese Iced Coffee, but it sounds really good. Next time, I will get it. The fruity pebbles donut was decent, too sugary and felt like eating plain cereal w/sugar bread without the milk. The blueberry donut hit the right spot for me. I tried calling just now to inform them to immediately remove their 'Strawberry Shortcake' donut from the shelves. But since no one answered, I'm leaving a message here. I'm currently 8 months pregnant and was craving donuts. My husband ordered a box including this one through Door Dash from B&B donuts. We received our order at 8:30pm and he noticed something fuzzy inside the shortcake donut. To our surprise and with utter DISGUST, we found MOLD on the strawberries inside the donut. Just for my safety, we had to throw out the entire box we ordered. I am really hoping that the other donuts weren't the same, as I already consumed half of a glazed donut from the same box. One time!! That is the number of times that I've patronized B & B Donuts in Fullerton. There are not many non-chain donut shops that have drive-thru service. The fact that B & B has one and is 24hrs is a plus in my opinion! They also sell Lotto!! Another positive fact! So what did I think of their donuts? Well, I was already kind of full when I dropped by so I only bought one kind. Did not try my usual favorite kind of donut. Instead I tried their Maple Bacon donut! It was very good. I've seen this donut shop right across the street from Costco every time I visit. It did do a face lift i want to say about a few years ago. Never been there though actually. But it has been around for quite some time. Over decades. On Easter Sunday. My brother in law brings us 2 boxes of their donuts. The original glaze are really fluffy light airy. Pretty good highly recommended and you can never go wrong w glaze and original. The other doubts were good too. I'll have to visit them now. I can't drive through Fullerton without stopping at B&B Donuts. This place took care of me during the pandemic when I was working in Fullerton. Their drive thru is amazing but could get backed up in the mornings. It wasn't a big deal because you can always park and go inside and it's even faster. Every single employee I ever interacted with was friendly and fast. Their efficiency here is commendable. I would visit 1-2x a week to get an iced Vietnamese coffee. Vietnamese coffee is always delicious but theirs is the best I've had. I think the ice plays a part or the love with which the employees mix up and serve these drinks with. Sometimes they would have fresh cut fruit available and sometimes even face masks which saved me a few times during those mask mandate days. In 1969 my parents had a restaurant in Fullerton and we had assortments of 'B&B Donuts' delivered every day before we opened at 6am. They were all great but I soon discovered the buttermilk bars were excellent and became my favorite. Fast forward through decades of living in O.C . and stopping by B&B many times and 10 years ago I bought a home in Fullerton and learned even more about their buttermilk bars when one day I stopped by about 3:30pm and the buttermilk bar was still warm and so fresh its indescribable and needs to be tried in person. You can slightly warm one up and it is close but not quite as good as the 3:30pm fresh batch. I learned when the business sold many years ago the new owners kept the original buttermilk bar recipe and I'm really glad they did. As so many other post have mentioned the staff here are all excellent at keeping the lines moving, the drive-thru is very convenient and the other items on the menu I've tried are all very good, but if you love buttermilk bars I might see you at 3:30pm... and you're welcome. read more
