Two dozen assorted donuts from Top Doughnuts.
    Jeff H.

When I arrived at 7Am, the parking lot in front of the establishment was full. When I entered the line stretched to the door. Short wait, while those in front ordered and received their orders. They were ordering bacon, egg, sandwiches, and sausage egg sandwiches. The two ladies on the counter were quick about taking and filling the orders. My order was for two dozen assorted doubts. The order was quickly filled and I was on my way. Everyone seemed pleased with the service and their orders being fulfilled. I was impressed with the quality and service.

This small owned business has a great donut variety to choose from. Not only are they known for donuts but also offer savory sandwiches, drinks, coffee lattes, and donut cakes! I've been coming here for years and the service has always been great, never an issue. The interior design has tables and chairs to sit in while you enjoy eating your food!

Maple donuts, sprinkle donuts, chocolate donuts, donuts with raseberry, and lemon jelly inside, and some crumble donuts.

Food (Donuts): 9/10 Service: 9/10 Ambiance: 8/10 I live around the area, so I visited Top Donut House to buy my coworkers some donuts for breakfast on National Donut Day the past Friday. The mall this place is located at has okay amount of parking spaces but not enough since it shares the spaces with other establishments in the mall. When I went in, a kind elderly lady greeted me and helped me out right away. She was very kind and patient while I was trying to pick and choose the donuts. All in all, the place was pretty clean, and the menu was easy to read and see. The prices of the donuts were pretty good compared to other places. Also, there were so many selections of donuts that looked scrumptious! I will visit again in the near future!

    Blended mocha with boba!!

Try the blended mocha drink with boba!! I love it!! Definitely recommend it! I'm hooked on that drink. I go at least twice a week now and their prices are pretty reasonable! Also, the older lady that works in the afternoon is very sweet. She always says hi to my daughters and gives us great service! Their donuts are delicious and everything is well organized and clean.

This place has excellent reviews here and on google so I had to try it. Pulled up in a kinda sketch parking lot...it's next to a liquor store that was busy at 8 in the morning too. It didn't look crazy but as soon as I opened the door I knew it was legit. Tons of old dudes shooting the ish inside eating sandwiches and donuts and having their coffee. That's how you know a donut shop is good-if the old guys come back every morning . I got a dozen and everything was excellent. I usually hate cake donuts because they suck up the oil that is often not changed frequently enough. Not here! I actually preferred the cake donuts because they were so excellently executed. The orange donut and the blueberry donuts were easily some of the best donuts I've ever had in my life. Lightly crumby and I couldn't get over how fresh the fruit bits were. The flavor shown through and was generously distributed. Yeast donuts were solid also. No need to try any other place for a long time

    afternoon donut deal!

When I'm out in about in a new part of town I'm always on the lookout for a new old-style donut adventure. It's a simple routine. I just google "donuts near me" and pick a non-chain donut place near where I am at the time and that I haven't tried before. Today, Top Donut House was my pick. It's easy to find and parking is plentiful. The first thing I noticed was how clean it was inside and out. Great first impression. The donuts didn't disappoint. I had a buttermilk bar, some blueberry donut holes, and an apple fritter. The apple fritter is a "test" item for me. They can make or break a Yelp rating in my book. These apple fritters had a very dark look so I thought they might be hard and greasy, but no, not at all. They were actually some of the lightest apple fritters I've ever had. They could have a little more apple, but still, it was a darn good fritter. Both buttermilk bar and blueberry donut holes also held up their end of the bargain! I had a medium coffee which was classic, smooth, not too strong, donut shop coffee. Love it. The tab for all of it was just under $6. Not bad. They also have plenty of other items such as sandwiches, all kinds of drinks, and plenty of other things to eat...even some fruit! Top Donut House is aptly named. Check it out!

Loves this tiger milk tea, with less boba.

Support your local mom n pop donut shops! To the ones who complain they charge fees for using cards: the donuts are only .75 cents each. Businesses have to pay transactions fees. This is a small shop. Just bring your cash and stop complaining. The donuts are GOOD!

Donuts are so light and fluffy, and my daughter loved the strawberry smoothie. So many great options for donuts, breakfast sandwiches, and drinks.

great donuts and customer service, quick fast and nice! and they added two free donut holes to each of our donuts, we didn't even notice until we were in the car and opened the bag!

Ask the Community - Top Donut House

    How much is a dozen?

I believe it is $9.75 for a dozen and $5.50 for a half dozen. I was just there, but I'm staring at the doughnut case, not the sign!😊

I met a friend there to catch up & they let us sit there for a couple hours - We were aware & made sure no one needed our table though! The oddest thing happened... a guy came in, ordered & sat down. I can only guess that he just worked out cuz, as he was waiting for his food, he put his foot up on top of the backrest of a dining chair & proceeded to massage his leg with a massage gun. Then of course did the other leg. Oh and while doing so, he played music from his iPhone very loudly, to cover up background music playing in the restaurant. -- Is this what people are doing now?

It's very standard fare at standard pricing. It gets the job done if you're hungry. I was sad to see a piece of bacon in what was supposed to be a vegetarian selection. I didn't complain because they were busy, but I do wish they'd be more careful because it had me dissecting the rest of my omelette with insecurity about the contents. On the plus side, the fruit cups have more than just melon in them: pineapple, strawberry, orange and green melon, blueberries, and blackberries. Solid mix. It was strange to me that I had to ask for jelly to go with my sourdough toast. We also had to go up to the front where you order to get water refills. Again, none of this was major... just led to a really "meh" experience. Maybe they were just having an off day? We had to wait for a table. The food doesn't come out together, so the kids were a little antsy when my husband and I each had food but they didn't. There were no coloring sheets for kids so I had them drawing on napkins on the tables with pens that I just happened to have in my purse. Food was simple and fine but not anything special. Just not in a hurry to come back to this one.

They have a good selection of American food, and I ordered chicken risotto ($24) from the "favorites" section of the menu. Portion sizes here are good, and we were very full after dinner. Service here was basic, and we got everything we needed. Friday night is also a peak time at Downtown Fullerton, so it was hard to find parking spot. However, the ambience here was relaxed. While the chicken risotto was pricy, I enjoyed the mixed flavors and large portion size. The flavor came from the caper-parmesan beurre blanc sauce. It's a slightly creamy butter sauce with mild sweetness and added flavor from white wine. The capers added a very welcome tangy and savory seasoning to the sauce; they're one of my favorite garnishes. The flavors from the breaded chicken and risotto weren't too strong.
