The croissant was thicker than all of the other toppings combined, but it was good. I also ordered a plain old fashion and buttermilk bar. I'm not a big fan of donuts, but I wouldn't miss the opportunity to buy them plain. It's rare that I see them sold without icing, glaze, or some other topping. We flew into OC on Friday night and were just planning on grabbing some dinner, however, the beautiful warm scent wafting from the open door of Georgie's drew us in and we had to get a peek! They have a wide variety of delicious options from donut holes, sandwiches, drinks, and the most delicious looking donuts! Chocolate Bars, Donut Holes, and Bagels... They are one of two places that have my favorite doughnuts. Georgie's Chocolate Bar, tastes like a really good chocolate donut, instead a sugar bomb. It has a deeper chocolate flavor than other places I've tried. And the dough is soft. I love a soft dough lol. And on top of that, their donut holes are the best I've had. There are soft, the dough has a good texture, the glaze provides good coverage, but not overwhelmingly sweet. And the oil they cook it in, it does not have a weird taste like the other ones I've tried in Anaheim. For a donut shop, they have good bagels. I love their Everything and the Jalapeño Cheese Bagels. The outside is soft but still got that nice golden bite, and when you open it up the cream filling just smooth and fluffy. If you read my other reviews about donut shops, it's all about the maple bars for me. I wasn't planning on stopped here, but seeing they were open, and then even more excited to see a full display of donuts, I had to partake, even though I wasn't close to being hungry. So, about these maple bars. Most excellent. The donut is mostly soft throughout with a little bit of stiffness on the outside. Not crunching stiffness, just a thicker outer skin. I've always thought this is what keeps the inside moist though, which is preferred. The maple was a little like icing which had been sitting there a while that flaked off rather than the creamy frosting that I like. However, it tasted wonderful and worked for me. It looked like they do have some fun with their donuts as I was some with a candy cane on top along with some others that were "decorated" with different toppings for fun. Service was simple, easy, and friendly. $3.05 2 for donuts. This particular donut shop is a bit out of my way so I don't know that I'll be visiting that often, but if I'm in the area, I would probably stop be. read more

I came here about 2 weeks ago because my wife and I were in a donut mood and we got our usual which is usually a maple bar and one other thing, and that other thing happened to be an apple fritter. It's probably because we just love donuts, but they were really good. Like... Really good. I will say though, our first time here the maple bar was yellow which was a little odd considering the fact that they're typically a tan/light brown color. This straight up looked like it would be like a lemon bar or something, but it was still pretty good nonetheless. Anyway, fast forward to today and the donuts were even BETTER this time. We got a maple bar again (normal color today haha), chocolate sprinkle cake donut, and a bear claw with crumbs. As soon as we stepped out, my fat ass reached for the cake donut and sunk my teeth into probably one of the best cake donuts I've had in a very long time. My wife took a bite and just couldn't stop going back for it. Every single donut was delicious. My wife and I definitely went too hard on the them though. We felt kinda sick afterwards haha. For a little casual and unassuming donut shop, this place wrecks everything nearby. I can think of 2 other nearby donut shops and they SUCK. So glad we have a go-to donut shop that isn't ridiculously far (Glendora for Donut Man and Donuttery in HB). They offer other donuts that I can't wait to go back for and try! I love donuts! The donuts are always fresh, fluffy, and not overly sweet. I've never been disappointed with a donut here. They've got all the usual suspects and some more modern takes, like maple bacon and cronuts. The service is always with a smile and a quick as it can be (expect the usual typical morning rush). I shouldn't be saying this, but they have hands down one of the best blueberry cake donuts around! Now, with that being said, keep your grubby mitts off my blueberry donuts! Stopped in because...well because donuts! So we got a variety dozen and everything looked SO YUMMY!! We also got some drinks: Thai tea with boba, iced green tea, and a green tea blended. Outside of that, the donuts were tasty and fluffy! The drinks though...noooooo. My blended green tea tastes like feet, the iced green tea tastes like water, and the boba Thai tea was alright.
