Look no further - these guys are great! I called for an appointment at 9:20am for someone to come to our rental home to fix our front door handleset. B&B said they could get someone out in 30 minutes. By 10:30am (the same day!), they were done! Wow. Geez! This service was to our rental unit, and Manny came out to look at the lock. He came prepared, wearing a mask, and analyzed our lock situation and found nothing really wrong to fix. Our lock intermittently gets stuck, and he walked the tenants through how to avoid the situation. He didn't try to rip us off by replacing the set unnecessarily. Excellent experience with B&B! I sent out a request to multiple locksmiths on Yelp and found B&B to be the most responsive along with competitive rates. I hired them to service an old antique lock for my front door that was loose and was in bad need of servicing. The first technician, Aaron, who came by was able to tighten it up but didn't have the extra part he needed so they ordered it and only charged me for the labor (without charging for the part). The following week, Camilla (who sounds very nice on the phone) called to arrange for the follow-up service call. Manny came for the follow-up and after a few hiccups regarding the screws, size of the new lock, and keys, he was able to finish the job in a timely manner. My key broke off in my lock and my first call was to B&B Locksmith. They rekeyed my locks almost a year ago so I thought I should call them first. They had all my information saved, called one of their technicians who was out on a job and he was able to get him to me in less than 30mins! Zee was my technician and right when he got here, he worked quickly to solve the problem. He got my key out and checked the lock for any issues. My lock was sticking when I tried to unlock it so he took the mechanism out and fixed it. He also smoothed out the spare key I order from him and tested it out. Thank you Zee for getting me out of a jam! This could've been a nightmare but Zee and B&B worked quickly and efficiently to help me out! The whole thing took less than an hour! I received a call from tech Matt at 9:49 to let me know he was in walnut Creek and expected to be arriving within a hour . Wow, I was pleasantly surprised to even receive such a call , so considerate. I really appreciated that ! I think Matt arrived about 11 .. he was very pleasant and accommodating. The owner, Alex, wanted to charge me $89 for a service fee. They did not let me know about this fee upfront nor did they give me a working remote, which is what I requested. The owner is totally unfair and sexist, calling me 'illogical' and threatening to call the police on me because I found that fee unfair. If I could give them negative stars I would. They made two keys for me that never worked correctly and, after several tech visits trying to remedy the issue and when I finally asked for a refund, they refused. They only refunded the cost of the equipment but the most expensive portion (the programming which didn't work) was not guaranteed by them and they refused to refund it. Luckily, the Yelp Guarantee claim was accepted and Yelp paid me for the remainder that they refused to refund. They do not stand behind their poor workmanship and rely on Yelp to cover them. My workplace needed a full set of replacement mailbox keys (as well as a few extra keys), so I called B&B Locksmith after reading some reviews and seeing that they could make keys on our premises (since they're primarily a mobile operation). Since getting keys cut can be a bit of a crapshoot, I really didn't want to risk having to make a return trip anywhere due to a poorly cut key (especially with the Shelter in Place Order in effect), so B&B Locksmith seemed like the way to go. When I called, I was asked to provide a photo of one of the keys so they could determine whether they could provide copies. I received a response to my initial email with the key photos shortly thereafter and set up an appointment for later the same day. I received a call from Manny roughly 45 minutes prior to the appointment, and he said that he'd arrive in approximately 45 minutes after he picked up the parts he needed. Manny arrived as scheduled. He asked for my assistance in testing the keys to streamline the process, which I didn't mind, since that ended up saving me time, as well. The entire process of cutting a total of 23 copies from a total of 20 separate keys, testing them and even having Manny take a look at a stubborn lock on one of the mailboxes took roughly 45 minutes overall. It's worth noting that the copies actually work more smoothly than the original keys, whereas I typically expect the opposite when getting keys cut. Also, the overall cost ended up being less expensive than I thought it'd be, and that's even after finding out that the cost would be higher than the original estimate given. I don't even blame them for the difference between the original estimate and the final cost, as I recall our mailbox being complete Hell to get set up, so I'm not at all surprised that it'd require more specialized keys. Manny was very personable and knowledgeable, and his work was detailed and professional. I highly recommend B&B Locksmith if you need the services of a professional locksmith, especially if you need said services on relatively short notice. read more

Wow, one of the best experiences I've had on yelp! I had reached out to Alex and Camila in hopes of handling a situation that I've been into before unfortunately for my 2006 Toyota Sequoia. These cars are notoriously difficult and my last experience with the Toyota dealer left a sizable chunk out of my pocket north of $1,000. Alex talked me through my situation and was confident he could do it. Throughout the beginning process Camila took over and she was amazing to work with. I've always been hesitant around working with my car because of my inexperience, but they walked me through every step with quotes and constant communication. However, upon completing the work, he had changed his mind and had charged fully for the electric portion of the job despite promising not to do that earlier. When he was confronted about this and asked why he went back on the statements he had made earlier, he denied he ever promised anything.
