When I picked it up, (Chandler PD puts a hold on weapons that are traded in to insure that they aren't stolen) the cylinder was a bit sticky (probably from sitting for a while) so the guy working there (didn't get his name, sorry) lubed cylinder, and tested it to make sure it was operational. For my troubles he threw in a box of ammo! That kind of service, and value is worth my business, so I'll be back for my next purchase.

He completely drains the fun out of the visit. ​Power-Tripping Range Officers: While I completely understand and respect the absolute necessity of gun safety, the RSOs here cross the line into being flat-out rude. They yell at shooters and treat you like you've never handled a firearm before. ​Zero Urgency: When there is a waitlist, the staff shows absolutely no urgency to get shooters assigned to open tables. ​I've been to many ranges, and this is easily one I would never recommend to anyone. They act like you're using their personal firearms and ammo. I won't be back, and I'll be making sure my friends avoid this place as well.

Rio Salado Sportsman is part of the shooting range and offers a wide variety of instruction. Parking 5/5 Parking was plentiful at the Training Building. Arrived at 8:30 and met members of my Medical & Safety Teams. Training Event 10/5 This is our second Team training event here. Stop the Bleed was our last class. Today's was part of our teams two year CPR & AED re-certification class. The class was taught by Battalion Chief Mark Cichocki. This was an instruction and hands on curriculum using Adult and Infant dummy torsos for the CPR and AED practice. Instructor "Fire Battalion Chief" Mark was outstanding. His years serving in fire and rescue was apparent, his instruction smartly mixed with real world examples was perfect. Mark's delivery style kept things moving and interesting. Value 10/5 $30pp no cert and $60pp for the two year certifications are exceptional price points compared to the big organizations ARC & AHA. Rio Salado sportsman 5/5 Their training center building is large and equipped to handle a wide variety of events and classes. Thank-you Rio Salado Sportsman. Check in was easy, got set up for my safety class since I never shot a gun before. The weapon picked for shotting was a glock 9. We got set up in our lane and got our targets up and we were ready!
