We recently had B & B Pest Control come to our house in Lynn to take care of a bees nest. I found B&B through Yelp after my longtime pest company sent multiple technicians over many weeks trying and failing to stop a rodent problem in a building I manage. I didn't think that B&B could do much more than the previous company's technicians except provide a different view on things to maybe see something that was missed. My experience with communicating with the office was good. Jerry is a personable, friendly, helpful guy. Jerry set me up with the technician, Doug. On the day of the appointment, Doug arrived right on time and immediately started to do the most thorough inspection and treatment I've seen. I've witnessed many dozen technician visits from other companies and none were close to as thorough as Doug's. Not only did he seem experienced, but he was also friendly and knowledgeable. He was happy to share info with the residents and myself or answer any questions we had. Doug found openings that several technicians over 4-5 previous trips had not. He took it upon himself to seal these openings where the previous techs would say something like "I won't remove that heating cover. Please have someone else come close this hole." Over the course of the next few weeks and months, Doug came back to service a few more units of the building. For each unit, I did not have to have him come back. I have since had B&B work on more of my properties for rodent problems. One B&B tech was able to find openings that my previous company did not, but was not as thorough as Doug. Once I determined that the mice still remained, I used B&B's warranty but requested Doug who did another amazing job. Through decades of owning managing and rental properties, B&B is by far the best pest company I've ever used. I will continue to use them going forward and recommend them to everyone. read more

I had my apartment treated for mice recently and cannot say enough good things about B&B and specifically the tech I worked with, Doug! Doug was super friendly and knowledgable and I felt very at ease seeing how thorough his inspection was. Doug noticed several holes and gaps that my apartment's maintenance person had previously missed, and he used some creative solutions to fill a tricky opening beneath a cabinet door. He clearly explained how everything worked, answered all my questions, and assured me I would not see any dead mice. It's only been a few days so far, but B&B has a guarantee that if there's any activity in the next 3 months they will come back for free. I almost opted to pay more for a 6 month guarantee, but my tech recommended that I would most likely be fine paying less and sticking with 3 months, and I appreciated the honesty! We have a three family home built in 1905, definitely an older property with a lot of holes to patch! We had Sam and Rafael come out on two separate occasions for mice and rats (we live in the city, by the train). Sam did a superb job going through each unit. I hired them to go nuclear on our basement mouse problem, and they have delivered. One big selling point is that they have a 90-day period where they will return for free to re-bait and re-set traps. On the first visit they caulked some doorways and other spaces that allowed the critters to get in, and they gave great advice about protecting things like dog food, which apparently the mice love. I had them come back two more times to re-set and re-bait, jut to be sure; and they were consistently friendly and punctual. I think the problem is gone, for now at least, and I'm super grateful. I had some issues with my properties. Mice at one location and a roach issue with a few units at another location. B&B sent Pat out, inspected the properties, put/suggested a corrective action program for the issues that seemed very reasonable. We unfortunately realized we had gotten bed bugs when my youngest daughter woke up with bites on her. My wife was so overwhelmed and frustrated thinking this was our fault. I reached out to B&B and explained the situation and he after reassuring us that this has nothing to do with cleanliness of our home but rather how easy it is to get infested, It took away the embarrassment we were feeling. Jerry explained this being their busy season he could get to us within a few days and gave me a quote that was hundreds less than I expected. We had some time constraints and I explained the sense of urgency at stake because my twin daughters are horrified of bugs and we had to stay at a hotel for a few nights to curb the anxiety the girls and my wife were experiencing. It must have plucked a heart string because he asked to call me back in 20 minutes. When I answered he made an appointment available for the very next day which blew my mind with gratitude. The staff member he sent was punctual, very professional and once again explained to us not to feel ashamed.
