**I wanted to update this review since I had the pizza for dinner tonight. I warmed up the pizza oven for about 15 min @ 350 degrees and then about 5 min on broil just to get it bubbling. The pizza was FANTASTIC, definitely something I will do again!!! ** I ordered the two meat dinner as seen in the picture below and it was good, no complaints. The sausage was tasty and had a mild heat, turkey breast was very tender and juicy. I really enjoyed the beans, could probably eat an entire pan of them. The potato salad was your typical potato salad, not sure it was made in house but I could be wrong. The spicy pickles were very good as well. I went in just to pick up a BBQ pizza for supper and decided to get a two meat dinner since I had never been before. The prices are average, my meal was 16.50 and I had a water to drink. They offer tea and soda as well. The employees were very friendly, restaurant was nice and clean. It reminded me of a typical bbq joint, smelled of smoke and meat, and had a few BBQ trophy's scattered throughout the entryway. Their BBQ sauce is also for sale if you want to purchase for home. Hubby and I shared the 3 meat platter for lunch. Selfishly wanted to try several things I read about on Yelp. We had ribs, brisket, and pulled pork. For the 2 sides we ordered baked beans and corn casserole. We both liked the pulled pork the BEST. The ribs were good. The brisket "bark" was a little salty, but fine. The BBQ sauce was sweet and zippy and tasted good on everything. The corn casserole was interesting; it had a lil' jalapeño "kick." The baked beans tasted fresh made and rich. Decent BBQ. The ribs are very tender and the sauce is adequate. The problem - in my way of thinking - is the meat shouldn't NEED the sauce. It should be smoky and tasty without adding sauce. The brisket is much the same. Tender and juicy, but not really all that BBQ-y. Just a slight hint of smoke flavor. The sides were outstanding - especially the "cheesy corn". Fantastic barbecue! I had the day's brisket sandwich deal. $14 for a brisket sandwich and 2 sides or 1 side and a drink. The meal was easily enough for 2 and maybe 3 people. Barbecue sauce was the perfect mix of sweetness and vinegar. The young woman at the register was very nice. Unfortunately, at about 4:15 pm, they were out of my first 2 side choices - coleslaw and corn casserole. :( The green beans was good. The potato salad was very good. Way too salty. The ribs were inedible. While they were tender and fall off the bone, I couldn't eat more than a bite. I won't be back.

Wednesday April 3rd 11:15 am Party of 2 We each Ordered the Pulled Pork Sandwich Special with 2 sides... Potato Salad and Beans. The prep bar had pickles only... where are the onions? What BBQ doesn't have onions? Apparently Pig In Pig Out. No foul it's their turf and their product. They give your order a number and call you when it is ready. The sandwich was generously piled high with tender pork that had virtually no smoke flavor.The beans were a mixed variety of kidney canellie and great northern good sauce but extremely spicy. The potato salad was good but tasted store bought and doctored up. Two choices of house sauce Sweet & Smoky and Extremely Hot & Spicy. Cutlery was high quality plastic. They had a really good lunch deal for a sandwich and two sides, that was perfect for our group. I just wish they had more varieties of sauce on the tables. (oo) This not-so-hidden gem in Wichita's north side industrial area had a line out the door when we showed up for lunch, which is one of our top indicators of great BBQ when we are the road. We NEVER mind standing in line because it gives you a chance to pump the locals on what to order - and we were told that while everything is good here, the Fireman Sandwich, the pulled pork, hot links and turkey are especially delicious. So based on our intel from the lunch line, in our party we got a Fireman sandwich and pulled pork sandwiches with a pint of homemade mac-N-cheese. Be warned: these sandwiches are GENEROUSLY stuffed with perfectly smoked tender moist meat, and was probably enough to hold me to breakfast tomorrow. The Fireman sandwich is a huge stack of a hot link (a REALLY HOT link (just the way I like 'em) On too of three slabs of smoked turkey and a double handful of pulled pork - in a bun. It was so huge I had to deconstruct it to eat it - but absolutely every bite was BBQ heaven. This place is tired....its been around forever and it shows it. Dirty floors and tables, took us several tries to find a table that didn't rock lol. Food was mediocre....brisket tasted reheated, ribs were tasty but salty and mushy. Hot link was reheated, dry, and hard as a brick. Toast was slathered with some fake butter stuff, cold and limp, would have rather had plain white bread. That is some good BBQ. Place looks like your classic BBQ joint. Nothing fancy and not more then you need. Tried the baked potato loaded with brisket. It was a meal. Took awhile to finish but was tasty at every bite. Do yourself a favor and stop by this place for some great Q. read more

In my opinion, probably second to third best BBQ/smokehouse but definitely better than Hog wild in Wichita Kansas. After B & C Barbecue. This place has descent ribs, good links, flavorful briskets, fast service and welcoming people. Since BC BBQ is only open for 3 hours a day this will be my go to when in Wichita. Next will be Bite me BBQ then I will reorder the the rankings. Lol read more
