Such a fun speakeasy experience. We found it tucked in an alley by a dumpster with a doorbell, then went down two flights of stairs and it was exactly what you'd expect. Small, dark, vibey with great bass. Definitely make a reservation ahead of time. We ordered four drinks which came out to $92.27, and they do include an automatic 20% gratuity that they mention when you arrive and are seated. The espresso martinis weren't the best we've had, but we're still glad we checked it out. Staff was super friendly and welcoming.

This speakeasy is cool. Reservations recommended. B&gc stands for boys and girls club. We had to go find the door in the alley. We weren't too sure what to do, the gal at the bar walked us to the door. There you'll see the doorbell. Once the door unlocks enter and go down the stairs, down the hallway, until you get to the door. Behind the door is the bar. Very unique path, I felt like a spy. Ambiance is very chill and bright. We ordered craft cocktails and hangout at the booth. The bar is not big, so make a reservation, I can see this place filling up quick.

Slightly challenging to find - but well worth the effort. Be sure to text for a reservation ahead of time to secure seating. Definitely speakeasy vibe where you feel like you're somewhere you are not supposed to be - and then end up in a swanky lounge. I often find places like this are best solo or with a +1 where you can sit at the bar and interact with the bartender. Mustafa was tending bar for my visit - he's a master at his craft - and was a pleasure to chat with. The menu was pretty interesting - I'd suggest going with their original specials versus going just with your typical classics. They put in the effort and had some excellent quality cocktails.

    Agreed with this headline!

An upscale speakeasy located in Cherry Creek makes for a fun little evening. Check Resy to see if you can get a table reserved. The number you text given on the website gives you limited/no results. Our server and also our bartender, Ryan, was excellent. He recommended great drinks for us based on our tastes and wants at the moment. I stuck with the Espresso Martini for most of the night- rum based, not vodka, which was a fun twist on the taste. What brought us to B&GC for a second time, was the advertised Gilded or Guilded as it's listed in the menu, Martini. While we did not purchase the $2500 drink/ diamond necklace, we sure did think about it. It was a fun time and I'm glad we tried it for a second time!

This was my second time at B&GC and a much better experience. Our bartender was super personable and made great cocktails catered to our taste. The hostess at the front door (past the doorbell in the alley) was also very friendly. After seeing a $2,500 martini with a 1.5 diamond necklace on Instagram, we wanted to revisit. We didn't purchase said item, but we saw the box and glass it came in, and it got a smoky show. Cocktails were well-concocted. The Tree to Talk was a nice blend of jalapeno-infused tequila, cucumber, and thyme, and the classic House Martini Service was excellent. Seating is comfortable, intimate, and a great place to have a conversation. I will say that after trying to get reservations a few times, it is much easier to click on the "reserve a table" button when you first search before clicking on the business website and reserving through Tock because when my friend tried to do it through their site via text, she was unable to get a reservation on the same day when I was able to through Tock.

Do you like speakeasies, fancy cocktails, and yummy bites? If so, make an effort to visit B&GC! Reservations are required. You can text a number to make a reservation or reserve on Tock. When you reserve, they will place a refundable charge of $15 per person to your card. I was a little confused and thought it was a deposit that went towards the bill, but it's a temporary charge on your card that is refunded after your visit. They'll send a reminder text the day before your reservation. Once you confirm your reservation, they will text instructions on how to find them. We took an Uber and our driver dropped us off in the completely wrong location, but we eventually found our way. We had a party of three. The hostess was really nice and let my friend and I go in (our third friend was running behind). If your entire party is not with you, make sure they know where to go as cell service may be limited. I had a difficult time texting and calling my friend to let her know where the alley was located. Ryan was our server and he was awesome. He had a fun personality and just made us feel so welcome! He made great recommendations when we were trying to decide on cocktails. Food: We ordered Deviled Eggs and they were so good and savory! It was topped with smoked trout roe and chives. Drinks: I had the Torture Chamber and the Jasmine. Both are gin based cocktails and they were so good and smooth! I preferred the Torture Chamber because of the cucumber and mint. My friends had the Torture Chamber, Corpse Reviver, and Mosquito and they enjoyed their cocktails as well. 20% gratuity is already added and 2.5% culinary charge is added if you order food. The staff definitely earned it! Reservations last 90 minutes. They'll send a text when your reservation is about to end. I've never seen a business do that, but I can appreciate their efforts to keep guests on schedule. The vibe was swanky, but not pretentious. I felt like a VIP and it was one of the highlights of my trip!

We came on a weeknight and made last-minute reservations and we were the only ones there! Our bartender was great and we all got different drinks and enjoyed them all. We also got a charcuterie board. Gratuity is included on the bill. The atmosphere is dark and sexy. I'd be interested to go again when it was busier.

Shrimp ($5 each) / bacon wrapped dates

It was ok, I was very underwhelmed honestly. I was incredibly disappointed to know the $5/shrimp were not cleaned and I had to clean the under belly of the shrimp myself. On the other hand the bacon wrapped dates are phenomenal. That harissa hummus sauce you have is great. Service was good, drinks were underwhelming for the price of each drink. I wish the menu showed you the glass the drinks come in. Other places in cherry creek to have drinks that are better priced n better tasting

The Boys & Girls Club, a fancy little speakeasy? Ok! Came here with friends while visiting Denver. $15 per person reservation on Tock. I believe resy is required, then you get assisned a time slot. They give explicit instructions the day of your visit. Located inside the Halocyn Hotel. It was challenging finding the entrance from the street. As it is truly hidden in plain sight on a dark alley, but we did it! We were escorted to the bar down an industrial looking hallway by a hostess. And arrived to a chic tiny bar. We were greeted soon after being seated. I think you get 2 hours for your Resy. Service - was great. I belive our server was Ryan. He was wonderful, jolly, and informative. Gave some solid recommendations. But our receipt says Audry, so maybe we had multi servers? Drinks - First drink I had the Torture Chamber. It was well balanced cocktail. Second drink I had the Corpse Reviver #2. It was delicious. Would order both again if I ever return. Based on the reviews, the food is fantastic. Sad I didn't eat here. Bring your purse, it's pricey. Drinks are good, worth a visit!

One of my favorite speakeasies of all time. Make sure you get a resy! All of the information you need to get in will be sent to you beforehand, so don't worry about that

    mojito and vodka soda

SUCH a cute cocktail bar. It really has the speakeasy vibe with the exclusive feel, the way to get into the bar (provided after making a reservation), and the art deco decor. Drinks were reasonably priced-- I mean, signature drinks at most cocktail bars are $15-25. We didn't get signature drinks and they were about $14 each. I didn't mind at all since our bartender had absolutely no issue making me the best mojito I've ever had. People said drinks took 25+ minutes, my mojito only took maybe 5? To be fair we went at 6p. Maybe that's a little early. Yes it's a $15/person fee to reserve but it's refunded once you check in. Probably just to keep the lowkey vibe and ensure people actually show for reservations. Their food looked great too, although we didn't get any. Only thing I'm not a fan of is seemingly texting a real person for reservations. Luckily my text was answered pretty quickly but if I were them I'd switch to something automated. Still gonna give 5 stars though bc 1 that didn't affect me and 2 just bc perfectly rated doesn't mean there's nothing to improve on :) Already planning when to go back

B&GC, Boys & Girls Club, is a glamor & glitz, clandestine cozy bar nestled in the back of the Halcyon Hotel in the affluent Cherry Creek neighborhood. Make sure to make reservations through Tock before arriving! The entrance is in the back of the Halcyon Hotel where you gain entry by pressing the same gold doorbell as featured on their website. A bit hidden as you'll be guided by the check in attendant in the back room (poor thing!) I highly recommend you ask to sit by the bar to chat with the bartender(s) for recommendation of drinks. I tried their Pandan Express which tastes like a spiked lemonade. I enjoyed their bacon wrapped dates and chocolate cake a lot! Overall the decor and ambiance brings you into an enthralling romantic mood. Highly recommend you check this place out for a date night!

I almost didn't want to leave a review for this hidden gem because I don't want it to become too popular for us to get back in. Everything about the experience was unique and special. In fact, it was so special, that my husband and I ended up having 3 drinks each before heading out to our dinner reservations. Woops! The atmosphere, service, and last but certainly not least, the cocktails exceeded all expectations.

Considering the only other US location is in California, I was surprised and knew this would be my opportunity to try it! The aesthetic is modern & elevated with Japanese wooden features. I got 3 classic dishes which was just the right amount of food. I honestly recommend coming with a group to try more items since you know everything will be delicious. The Yellowtail Jalapeño is a signature dish; the yellowtail was delicate & buttery and the citrus soy with the bight of jalapeño made each bite clean, bright, with some subtle heat. I did not expect the Rock Shrimp Tempura to be that good! The shrimp was lightly battered & fried but the sauces were the highlights! Their creamy spicy is a very well-done spicy mayo but the butter ponzu was unreal! Super addictive, rich, and unlike any sauce I've had before. Shout out to my waitress for suggesting getting both sauces on the side rather than lathered on the shrimp, which also kept it crispy. Last but certainly not least is the famous Black Cod! The fish is super buttery and flaky; there were some caramelized edges from the miso glaze which added so much depth & richness to the bite. It's a good balance of sweetness, savoriness, umami that is bound to be good. All in all, so grateful I got to try what many call an institution and will certainly try more of chef Nobu's restaurants.

Some of courses were delicious and some were mediocre. We spent almost $700 for a party of four. The situation that needs the most improvement was the pace of the meal. The courses were separated by a 20-30-minute wait time. Considering that the courses were very small and contained 5-6 pieces for a party of four... that equates to a little more than a small bite every 20-30 minutes. The dinner took 2.5 hours to develop, and we were honestly still hungry by the end. The waiter started asking us if were "still hungry" at about the fifth courses. By the end, we felt awkward in asking for more. The wagyu beef was particularly disappointing as the beef was somewhat chewy, lacking taste and small. Waiters seemed to be near their capacity of workload. Didn't really take the time to serve, walk you thru the menus, keep the service moving or even gauge your level of satisfaction. We ordered dessert to celebrate the birthday. Apart from a small chocolate plaque on the dessert that said, "happy birthday", there was no attempt to celebrate the occasion as other less exclusive restaurants do... no "happy birthday" wish, no courtesy dessert... nothing special. The best part of this meal was by far, the young couple that accompanied us. Friendly advice: if you want to impress a client with something the feels exclusive... this may be the place. If you are looking for amazing food, being pampered and feeling your money was "well spent", try another place. I don't plan to visit this restaurant soon.
