Fantastic A ++ service! My husband called a dozen places before finally trying this one. All other places he called usually gave him an attitude, didn't take him seriously, or even spouted nonsense like "we need to do a diagnostic". His car door was broken, not sure why anyone would need to run a diagnostic on something like that.... The car door initially broke where it couldn't be opened from the outside, then a couple weeks later it could no longer be opened from the inside. Our usual mechanic was having a difficult time finding the part since his car is a '95 and replacements are hard to come by since they have discontinued making the part. He called them on a Saturday about an hour before they closed, and spoke to Raffi. Raffi was a really great guy and told him to bring the car down on Monday and they'd take care of him. We dropped off the car on Monday. Brian and Raffi showed us kindness and said they'd take a look at it and fix it up. They also told us the part would need to be specially ordered since the part was discontinued. Hamilton came by and worked on the car later in the day and ended up being able to fix the door! They didn't end up needing to place special order after all because Hamilton ended up taking a similar piece from another car part and adjusting it so that it fit so that it was the same as the broken part. They all did such an amazing job that my hubby ended up tearing up and crying a bit since no one else wanted to take on the challenge of his car, and the car has a lot of sentimental value to him so it would've broken his heart if the car was permanently broken shut. They helped us save so much money. They were definitely trying to work within our budget, and I could tell how much they really cared about helping him and getting his car back to normal. This was our first time here, but we will definitely be back with any other issues that we may have in the future! Was referred to Raffi by my mechanic Hrant Auto in Pasadena. He told me to mention that he sent me and that Raffi would take great care of me. That was an understatement! From the moment I arrived he and his team immediately addressed me, assessed my daughters car and fixed it within an hour. I had no appointment. Her bumper had completely fallen off from a previous accident and I knew that I had to be replaced. Raffi and his team were able to reattach the bumper for a much much less than I had expected. Not only are they amazing at what they do but they're kind, fair, and efficient! I recently needed to get my windshield replaced and immediately went to Raffi. These guys are beyond great! Took my son's 2009 Honda civic there to get an estimate on having a dent and some scratches removed. Raffi and his crew went out of their way right away buffed out the scratches on the driver's door, pulled out a dent on the passenger's side, and fixed a badly scratched front bumper. Then, they put the exact matching color over the areas they fixed. To top it off, they even cleaned the hub caps for me. Now the car looks really nice again. I lost my son recently, so this car has a lot of sentimental value to me...I want to again say THANK YOU to the guys at B & K Auto Body for being so nice and helping me out. NEVER GET RIPPED OFF BY A BODY SHOP AGAIN! About a month ago, in Pasadena, I was rear-ended by a guy from Canada, borrowing a car from a friend who was at the time living in Syria. The car had no current registration, the driver had no CA driver's license, and both the car and driver were uninsured. Due to a glitch in my insurance, I was not covered for uninsured motorist. I took my car to several body shops in the Pasadena area, and they were asking for $2500.00 and up to repair it! These body shops were putting things on the estimate that I did not even understand! On a suggestion from the Canadian who rammed into me, (who also agreed to pay for the car) he asked me to try B & K Auto Body. I reluctantly agreed. I worked with Rudy! He cut the price to $1200.00 while he was going through my estimates crossing things off saying, "You don't need this, you don't need that". Thanks to Rudy and the Canadian guy I got my car fixed! I was asleep on Monday night but apparently I had a neighbor's car accidentally roll into the back of the bumper of my car. The damage wasn't bad, just chipped paint. I took this car to this body shop in Alhambra that I go to religiously, but since I had a paint job and the shop doesn't provide that type of service, I found myself on Yelp poking around for someone to fix me up. I found B & K Body Shop on the top of my searches. The B & K Body Shop is smaller and a older garage, a no-thrills type of place. The mechanics looked tough like rusted sheet metal, but when I talked to the owners, I found myself warming up to their friendly demeanor. One of the owners pointed out the garage pet, a little white pigeon they had rescued that now lives in the garage. As I talked to the owners about my car and the estimate, the pigeon roamed around the body shop with it's hobbily foot, checking out the scene. I was surprised and thrilled to hear that B & K was able to take my car in that morning, and that the paint job would cost me $300. I was stoked! I paid for my car before I left and returned the next day in the afternoon. I ended up talking to the shop owner about his six year old daughter for about an hour, and in the while, the shop made sure that my bumper was waxed and polished before I left. My car is old and beaten, but my bumper looks like new! I was impressed with the quality of work, and then the owner bends down, rubs the bumper and says two magic words, "Lifetime Guarantee" (well, as long as I don't hit anything, lol.) When I find great service with great prices, I become a life long client. I highly recommend B & K, they're quality in service is excellent, the owners, though laid back and friendly, are very professional and make sure that their clients are well accommodated. I was referred by trainer and his friend to bring my husband's Prius in after I had ran over a large branch on the freeway. I initially was planning on paying out of pocket but after speaking to Brian he quoted me $600 to just replace the bumper, right headlight and right signal light. He then suggested I submit a claim with my insurance to make sure that all issues including what can't physically be seen will also be fixed. So after thinking it over, I made a claim with my insurance. Two in a half weeks later, Brian calls and then messages me to say that the car is ready. So the next day which was a Saturday, my husband was able to go with me. Using a flashlight and the our naked eyes my husband inspected his car, to see that they did not fix majority of the items which was on the insurance's approved repair/replaced report. Brian said "don't worry, he will make it rights." Fast forward to Monday after speaking to him he then tries to tell me that he had mistaken and Raffi the owner has said the car wasn't ready . Three different times Brian confirms that I was confirm that it was ready and for me to come pick up the car and now "it was a mistake" ?? To make this long, time wasting aggravating story/situation come to a conclusion, they still didn't replace the headlight and other things on the list. They polished and sprayed clear coats to both headlights but very sloppy. You can see with the right headlight they put more elbow grease to it make it look "new" and the left was hastily done just to hopefully appease us. I would not recommend this place to anyone for their shady practices and sloppy job. We did not make more of a fuse because the car is over a decade old and he wanted his car back and we ended up not paying the deductible. But I will NEVER willingly have them fix any of my other cars. A very big mistake on my part to have them fix my car after reading a couple of their negative reviews on Yelp. I truly thought my friends recommendation and the shop being on my insurance's preferred shops was warrant to give them a go since they are also very convenient to my home.
