I had somewhat of an urgent issue. The wheel well cover had finally fully come off after a few duct tape jobs by me. There was a piece stuck and making awful noises against the wheel and tire. I didn't feel comfortable driving normal speeds. I pulled in to B & K and immediately was greeted by everyone there. They listened to the problem and said they could take care of it right away. I appreciated how they knew they were a far better value than the dealer quote I had received months ago for a repair of the issue. Ultimately they were able to reattach the admittedly raggedy cover for a fraction of what I would pay for a new one at the dealer, and all in about 15 minutes. I have been to B&K twice now for the same problem with the black plastic engine cover on the bottom of my car coming loose and scraping on the ground. My wife drove the Tesla on the I210 where she ran over a very deep pothole on the exit ramp down. Later on when we got home, I noticed that the right front bumper was popped up. I tried to push the bump back to its original position but the bumper feels loosely attached. After comparing both side, I found out that a screw was missing on the right side to connect the body panels. Without any tools and the specific screw, I had to seek help at an auto shop. That's how I met Brian from B&K Auto Body Shop here in Pasadena. Brian at the front office was super helpful and informative. And since all the other technicians were super busy at that moment, he went there and got it check and done in 10min. When I offered to pay for the labor and the special screw, he kindly refused and said it's only a screw no big deal, free of charge! These guys are criminals. I received a small dent and a paint smudge from a vehicle that reared up on me at 2 MPH or less. I brought my car here to receive a quote and have it repaired. The individual who came up to me tried to sell me a bunch of garbage and gave me an estimate of $1000. I told him let me think about it and took my car elsewhere. Everything went smoothly and I really appreciated the care and time David took to help. Fast forward about 8 years, and I went back to B and K today for some damage that was done to the undercarriage of my car. Today it was Brian who helped me--an extremely nice and friendly man, who immediately helped in getting my car fixed for an extremely reasonable price. I can not remember what work was done the first time I took my car to B & K Auto Body, however, I remember it being a good experience. When the mirror on my now over 10-year-old Pilot was broken and needed to be replaced a call was placed to the dealer. They quoted over $700 for parts and repair. I then remembered having this great experience and could not remember the name of the repair shop. It was on a Saturday morning so I got in my car and drove across Walnut until I reached the familiar location. I spoke with the attendant on duty and he quoted me $200 tops for the part and repair. On Monday I received a call late afternoon. I drove over to B & K Auto Body and a new mirror was in place in less than 20 minutes and cost me just under $200. Another great experience. I highly recommend B & K Auto Body and I did speak with the owner Ralphie and promised him a review based on my experience. read more

I originally messaged Raffi through Yelp several months ago when I use to work in Pasadena and he promptly responded to my request for an estimate for a minor bumper alignment issues which was caused by Honda of Santa Monica. He requested I come in any day for a completely free estimate. Well months passed and I never got around to stopping by, then I changed jobs and finally got around to going since I had a week day off of work and decided to finally make a 30 mile track in order to go to B&K for what I hope is a free estimate. David and his wife greeted me and David walked with me out to my vehicle and gave me an estimate on the spot with no hassle nor trouble nor lies, he was just honest and gave me the best and worst scenarios for cost (a price range). At this point I'm estatic. He said I could come in the following week early in the AM and I did, that's today, I'm currently at a coffee shop while they're working on my bumper. I was honest with them, that, if for whatever reason the issue is larger them we initially thought just let me know the adjusted cost before hand. So I'll finish this review once I get my car back, David said he could have it done by noon but I told him not to rush and that I'm fine with picking it up at 5 if needed, what ever works. My hope here is that they are able to properly align my bumper and, add a new rivet (one is missing currently ($2 piece) and if they go the extra mile I hope they tack down my two front inner fenders properly as due to the alignment issues with the bumper both inner fenders clips snapped and are hitting my tires when I hit 50+MPH on the highway. This makes for a loud ride. Update: The vehicle was finished by 3pm. Before seeing the car David explained to me that the issue was caused by two things. 1. A dealership not being a body shop and 2. Apparently the previous owner of my car had a collusion and the front and had body repair done, but after market parts were used and not OEM parts so David continued explaining that he did what he could and tacked down areas with extra screws. I left the shop pretty happy and they only charged me the mid range of the original estimate. This being said I got out to my car and while the hood now doesn't crush the top of the headlight unit when closed, look wise it's not pretty. There's a larger (quarter of an inch) gap around the headlight unit. The good news is that the inner fenders seem to be secured-ish though however it doesn't look pretty either. End result being based on this experience I'd give them a 3.5 out of 5 but since Yelp doesn't allow half's I'll give them a 4 out of respect. I don't think they did anything wrong and I don't feel cheated; however, I wish David would have given me an estimate to fix the issue 100% properly instead of just bandaging it, as I most likely would have requested them do the full proper repair for whatever extra money. Now it feels like 2 issues were somewhat solved or bandaged but another is still there as it doesn't look great. read more

I visited B & K Auto to get a rusted spot on my hood removed. I went to 4 other body shops to get quotes and they all told me it would cost $900+ because I needed to get the entire hood repainted after they removed the stain. When I came to B & K, they removed the stain and re-buffed the hood, no repainting required. It was $250, done in a couple of hours, and looks like new. Huge shoutout to Brian for being so helpful. I've been meaning to post this but only now getting around to it. My friend recommended these guys after my 17 yr old took a bit of a joyride in my car. I was so pissed when i saw the damage because i knew i couldn't submit it to insurance and i thought it was going to be thousands and thousands of dollars. Which i couldn't afford. I had such a great experience, I want to tell everybody. Went in with my teenage son's car which had a number of scrapes that were starting to rust. I assumed I would have to leave the car behind. Raffi greeted me, and after a quick assessment, retrieved a polisher and proceeded to polish out all the scrapes. He followed it up with a paint sprayer and made all the scrapes disappear.
