I have used Bump & Grind Auto Body many times and I have been please with their work on not only my more modern vehicles but also on my older vehicles which are a 1970 ElCamino and I will be taking my 1934 Ford Truck to them shortly for a new paint job. Their work is extremely good whether it's pounding out a dent, replacing a larger body part or yes the paint jobs that they are famous for! I have recommended Bump & Grind to a number of friends and family who have been very pleased with their work. We have used Bump & Grind for body work on our work vehicles in the past with excellent results. So when our brand new RAM van got into a fender bender, we of course took it to B&G. The estimate was done quickly and ended up being quite accurate. The work was done beautifully, in a timely manner, and you honestly cannot tell that anything was done to the vehicle. The B&G technicians were even able to save us a few dollars off the estimate by utilizing their experience. I showed up there without an appointment (I was driving past) and asked if they could just come outside (in the freezing below zero temps) to look at the side of my car where a panel was out of place. I expected them to say I needed to make an appointment, or give me a quick estimate of what it would cost to repair. But Dennis just took his fist and quickly knocked it back into place. Bump and Grind exceeded my expectations. In this very challenging time of getting parts delivered the body shop was very honest about the challenges and provided me with a realistic timeframe. They worked directly with my insurance and car maker (Lexus in this case) and provided me with updates. Everyone was friendly and informative. Upon picking up my car ALL my settings were as I had left them (seat location, radio, review mirror etc). And my car was fully detailed. Seems like a small thing but speaks to their customer service. I had my car repaired here a few years ago and I have to say I can hardly stand to look at it. The paint doesn't match and never did! I had no choice but to accept it as they had it so long my loaner was cancelling on me. I paid 50,000 for a car i now hate! Everyone that sees it notices it and comments. They repaired my brand new SUV last November 2017 after it was hit by a car ... a year later they helped correct a problem that developed from the accident involving the driver window motor. Terrible service. Refused to do a free estimate because the man working was literally just too lazy. No one there knows what they are talking about. Do not call expecting a person who knows what they are talking about to answer the phone, cause no one there knows a thing about dealing with insurance matters and refused work. I wonder how many people have been turned away because of their lazy and unprofessional employees. And you probably shouldn't be so rude to people calling within the first minute of talking to them. Took my car here after an accident because everyone in Homer Glen said they were great but been back 4 times 1 of the times the wheel well was put in wrong went back for them to fix it then had to come back because it happened again but this time it broke my bumper argued with them because they won't cover the work they did to my car so now I have a broken car after going to an auto body shop I recommend everyone to stay away if you want your car fixed. If it was possible to put 0 stars I would this was my first accident an by far was the worst getting back to normal life! read more
