Suspected that skunks were trying to nest in our backyard. Brent and his guys came out quickly and set traps which caught 3 raccoons over the next few months but no skunks. They always came to get the animals promptly. My only negative remark would be that communication was not great after the first few weeks. The last communication I got was from Brent that they would come back to set another trap after the rain stopped but they never did but after 3 weeks I texted Brent and he didn't respond which was surprising and disappointing. Eventually we realized that the skunks were nesting in a different location in the yard and they went away on their own. So it felt like they dropped the communication ball and then never picked it back up again. read more

Last night a squirrel fell down our chimney and found itself trapped in our (unlit) fireplace. There was no pest control company answering calls on a Friday night. This morning, looking for someone who might answer on Saturday, we saw B&M Trapping and its superb reviews and called. Brent answered even though it was Saturday morning before 9:00 a.m., he said they would get on it right away. Hasheem arrived within the hour, evaluated our modest gas-fueled fire place full of faux logs and the very unhappy squirrel -- a squirrel that proved to be a difficult critter to corner in such a limited and cluttered space. Hasheem showed great patience as the squirrel evaded the first few efforts designed to achieve a humane capture. After the earlier efforts failed, Hasheem came up with a successful plan to unclutter the fireplace (without letting the squirrel into our living room) insert a small cage and then prod the squirrel towards the cage where it was captured (and thereafter released in an area full of oaks and squirrels). I can't believe my luck in finding Mr. Hasheem and B&M Trapping. We have had mouse problems in our pantry off and on for a YEAR so when the latest guest took up residency, I was determined to get some professional assistance since my personal efforts were clearly not sufficient to keep them away. I contacted seven different companies and was told a number of versions of "no" from each of them: everything from 'not until next Friday' (it's MONDAY today!) to 'if you don't have an attic we can't help you.' (??) Not Mr. Hasheem! I called him less than two hours ago and he has already come and gone. We did not find our latest housemate but Mr. Hasheem conducted a very thorough yet respectful inspection of the house to learn about where the friends might be coming from and how we might keep them away going forward. He advised me on what traps to choose, how to use them (drawing me a very helpful diagram for my reference), where to place them, and what changes I could make to the space to make our pantry and home overall less appealing to furry friends. He helped us out on Christmas day, we had some skunks living under our deck who had driven us out to a hotel with a mating smell (you don't want to know, it's approximately 1,000,000x worse than a regular skunk smell). He came, set traps, checked them every day, and caught the skunks. He kept in touch with us when we were out of town to let us know what was going on. Then when we were back, he came and checked the house and reassured us that what we were smelling was just residual scent. I have been meaning to write a review since last summer. I still think about the above-and-beyond service I received from B & M. Everyone from their team was personable and hard working. What else can you ask for? They genuinely cared and let me vent about the disgusting rat party that took place in our home. (I had never experienced anything like this before.) They gave awesome advice, were proactive, and were easy to schedule. (They had to come over 4 times within a month to set up traps, look for potential entry points, remove a rat when my husband was not home, and clean up when the party was over. They did not make me wait. Super fast!) Coincidentally, in that same month, my mom's home in Newark was fumigated for termites. Afterwards, there was an awful stench that kept getting worse. I mentioned this to the B & M crew and they were confident they can help because it was probably a dead animal in the crawl space. They were right- they went over- all the way to Newark- and swiftly took care of it with class. Love these guys! I told them they were my heroes. We were having a terrible problem with a whole family of raccoons coming not just into our house via the cat door, but upstairs by the bedrooms to eat cat food. The first night I encountered them was at 2:30am when I woke up and found a HUGE raccoon sitting on it's haunches pouring cat food into it's mouth with both hands. Totally terrifying if your not expecting to see that, and he was completely unfazed by my presence Every night we would come home to muddy paw marks, dumped out water bowls on our carpet and what I can only imagine as a major infestation of fleas. Along with the cooperation with 2 neighbors Brent assisted in capturing and removing 50 feral cats loaded with fleas, 12 skunks, 1 possum and 1 raccoon (all in one year). We were just tired of washing our dog for smell and the fleas and treating her eyes. The possum was using a spot outside of my sons bedroom as a latrine. Gone is good.
