I contacted Mark and his team about 10 days ago regarding an ant problem that was impacting both the exterior and interior of my home. They were even starting to take over my home office, which was completely unacceptable. I fully expected a reply in a couple of hours and a service appointment a few days out. Instead, Mark got back to me within 15 minutes and had a technician at my door in less than two hours. I couldn't believe it--who bends over backwards like that these days? The technician arrived promptly, tackled the problem areas, and was incredibly professional. A few days later, some ants popped up in an adjacent area. This rating is about contacting the company and getting an estimate. We heard something behind our upstairs wall and called Mark at Crossfire Pest and Termites on a Saturday morning and he sent Francisco the same day. He did a quick inspection and gave a ballpark estimate. After a short discussion, he said he would talk to Mark to see if they could give us a discount. Mark did indeed. He offered to do sealing and trapping for half the initial ball park figure but with a 4 month warranty instead of one year. The shorter warranty and because the scope of their work would not be as broad as another contractor were the reason we did not go with Crossfire Pest and Termites. Twice now I've called to verify whether bugs I was finding were bedbugs and Mark was extremely patient and helpful -- dealing with blurry photos and FaceTime videos to provide an ID and professional opinion. THE BEEEEEEEST. When do you end up talking about the meaning of life and how to have hope for the future with your pest control person? You will if you call these guys. Mark is WAY more than his company, AND his company is incredibly efficient, professional, helpful, reasonable and effective. First of all - he knows pests, knows their habits, understands how to prevent, catch, manage and doesn't mess around with over charging, he answers the phone right away when called or calls back nearly immediately (I called him today remembering how great he was 8 years ago when we had a mouse running around in our toddlers room, after finding mouse poop in a bunch of areas in my kitchen). He literally came over within 10 minutes of me calling, assessed the situation, made sure we had a plan and then also noticed another issue I had forgotten to get on top of (carpenter bees) and is sending a quote for that as he's licensed to manage that kind of pest as well. So far, so awesome! Mark responded immediately to my (semi-hysterical) call about a first time mouse issue in my home, and had a helpful worker here within hours on a weekend. This was before others I had called even responded. His assessment and quote were clear and reasonably priced, and I hired him immediately with a 90 day warranty. He is polite, knowledgeable and reacts immediately to calls, what a pleasure during a stressful time! Update from service: After 3 sprays, we still suffered flea bites a week later. As a customer wanting to rid of pests, I have to take away a star for not accomplishing the goal that I paid for. I still highly value Mark's response time, knowledge, and respect towards customer service! And will call him back for any other problem in the future. For the problem that I had, Mark was absolutely correct in assessing that we still might suffer fleas after 3 sprays because the infestation was so bad (he noted 2 sprays is normal). However, I would have liked to have a guarantee come with my payment to ensure that the pests would be taken care of as opposed to just the mere service of spraying itself (which I could have done on my own with a can from Home Depot). Mark still provided excellent service and I can't disregard that. read more

I highly recommend Crossfire! A rat died above our stove behind the cabinets. I called Mark and came out the same day. Mark and John were friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and cleaned up the mess without charging me! I just had the best experience talking to Mark from Crossfire. I was so concerned that I might have bedbugs and was leaving to take care of my ill sister. Live in an apartment, and noticed rat poop. Contacted the landlord, who then sent out their crappy service provider (terminix) and of course all they did was setup a couple traps. I did that myself before calling the landlord. Enough said. Contacted several pest control companies on a weekend to have them check out vulnerabilities. Of course, no one wanted to respond same day. Crossfire is fantastic! This was my first run in with pests (mice, specifically) and as one can imagine, it was very stressful. Between me and my daughters screaming, I'm shocked no one suffered a hearing loss! Anyway, I grabbed my phone, hopped on Yelp and found Crossfire. Mark, the owner, picked up on the second ring and although we've never met, he was genuinely concerned with my situation and had a person out to my house within two hours. The person, Otis, might be one of the most courteous people I've ever met. Just a good dude. He assessed the situation, set down some traps and made a plan for the next day. When he came back, he said that he thought about it overnight and wanted to check some additional areas. Again, the customer care/service was on display. Otis then commenced to sealing up the entire house and did so with precision. As I said in the beginning, this was my first "run in" with pests and I wasn't sure how much these things should cost. I did my research before submitting the deposit and I believe that what I paid was fair for the labor and guarantee (one year) I received. It wasn't cheap but you get what you pay for and I'm happy to have found this locally owned company. No question - these are the guys when it comes to pest control and quality service. read more

If you've got a mouse problem, you want to call Mark and Crossfire Pest Control first! I called him over the weekend after my tenant found mouse droppings in my unit. Mark was able to schedule me for an appointment just a couple days later at a time that was convenient for me. He was very responsive, texting me for confirmation and arrived right on time. He asked us lots of questions, inspected the condo, and found a likely point of entry for a little mouse. He gave us some recommendations on how to prevent any further mice, showed us how to plug the hole and with what, and how to catch the current one if it was in fact still there, even left some glue traps. My homecare client got Mark's information from his neighbor, who highly recommends his service. My client had some serious pest control issues. The owner, Mark, came out and did a full inspection , walked the property himself, and had his techs come set traps for the pest issue. They tech came every 3 days for a month. There were rats found underneath and inside the house. They did come out and santintize they areas where rats were captured and take the dead rats away. The team is very nice. If you need a good, reliable pest control company, look no further. My house was starting to become infultrated by the dreaded, annoying lil creatures...ANTS!!!! These lil bastards were making themselves quite at home. Had a bad experience with Terminix, and decided to Google. Crossfire popped up, with GREAT reviews. Called & talked to Mark. He explained the process and cost, and I scheduled an appointment. They were a no show. However, I received the most honest call from Francisco, who profusely apologized. No excuses. He admitted they dropped the ball, but wanted to make up for it by offering a discount. Maybe an hour later, Mark the owner texted. He also apologized and took $50 off the original cost. This kind of unadulterated honesty is rare. Suffice it to say, Francisco came out, did his thing, no muss no fuss. Or so I thought. Ants made their way into my room. So, I texted Francisco, who was very responsive. We set up another appointment. This time Otis came. Let's just say, my mother was offering to feed him by the time he left. Bed bug inspection - I was encouraged by the reviews here that said Mark would provide a fair assessment of one's situation without looking to gouge customers or provide unnecessary services. I found that to be completely true. I had what I thought was possibly a sign of bed bugs. He answered the phone right away, listened to all the information I had, and told me he didn't think it sounded like bed bugs. He said he could send someone to inspect right away for $175, but didn't think I needed it. I decided I wanted an inspection anyway, even if only to give me peace of mind. He assigned the job to Otis, who called me right away and arranged to come by within the hour. Otis was fantastic. His inspection could not possibly have been more thorough. He was considerate, helpful, and reassuring. He gave me good advice about how to protect against bed bugs. In addition, he helped me put the encasement I had ordered (a bed bug proof cover) on the mattress. That would have been impossible for me to do alone, since my mattress is very heavy. Mark has been very response each time I needed his help. I manage some rental units and have had to deal with rodent activity. Unfortunately I need to revoke my good review for Crossfire as they have struggled mainly in communication and in consistency with their treatments at a long term client with a severe roach problem. Service started strong but has declined over the years and even after many attempts to get back on track, the roach problem is worse than it has been since we started. We made an appointment, he was there on time and did a very thorough inspection around the entire house, then pinpointed the problem.
