Putting on a wig cap was much more difficult than I expected, even though my hair is sparse. It also does nothing to flatter your looks. We were there for quite a while and I tried on at least 15 wigs of different colors and different styles with no luck. The young lady who was assisting me, Uni (my apologies, I know this is mis-spelled), was very nice and so patient with a customer who truly didn't know what she wanted. In the end, it was Uni who chose the wig that I finally bought. Without her help I'm sure I would have gotten nowhere in the selection process. It was because of her that the whole experience turned out to be much more pleasant than I had anticipated. My next step is to try and find a wig stylist.

Dr Browning is great with kids, knew what our babies strange birthmark was after one look, have us materials on how to deal with it, and when it became unmanageable - surgically removed it. As a surgeon - he was quick and thorough, and baby is healing very well. He explained the 3 types of sutures he used for different purposes. Aftercare has been very easy. He also seems knowledgeable about minimizing the scar.

Yet when I looked there was only one person waiting for his shot so the system did not see to be working as well as she explained. Also you cannot make an appointment in person, you have to make the appointment online or by calling their 1-800 number which is such an inconvenience. Walgreens must do better, especially since flu season just started.

Today was the worst, I often buy an excess of items I need because sometimes they'll sell out or I'll try one and just incase I like it I have the other and if I don't I'll return with receipt or ask to swap for something else. However I bought a black arctic fox hair semi perm dye and tried to return because I did ask ahead that if I used some of it and if I didn't like it could I return it? The lady (a different worker, not April) answered me with yes only if it's more then half full. I brought it back with receipt with other items because it didn't work and it was a little more the half full. She said I couldn't return the back dye because it was "less then half" full but I did with everything else. I'm mentioning this (happened once) because I went by earlier today to return nothing used, new dye hoping to change the color and return the eyelashes I bought two of, used one but didn't use the other. The worker named April said after I asked, "you are no longer able to return or swap anything without my manager here" I asked why and she said "because you have a history of buying a lot of stuff and returning it used" I told her it happened once like a month ago like second to last visit. I asked if it was just towards me or everyone.. she said " just you" then I asked for the managers phone number so I can try and talk things out or explain the misunderstanding. Then she said "no I'm not giving you their number. You can call on the website" I went back (I'm 18) to the car and had my mother and baby sister in the car that is 3 and has autism. I explained what happened and my mom went in to help while I stayed in the car to watch my baby sister.. my mom was in there for sometime.. my mom came back and told me the awful names the employee called my mom. She called her a b**ch and an as***le. The lady told my mom that "now you're here, I just told your daughter" then said "it's stupid to buy lots of things then return and want the money back or swap when it's been all used" she said this with a customer or two around. When she was giving my mom a hard time and noticed my mom took a picture of her.. she said "you're one of those people.." my mom was confused and said what, "I mean one of those assholes" she was quite rude then my mom said "if you're upset with trying to do refunds or the pay wage , it doesn't mean you have to be upset with everyone else." Then she said "you bitch". Then my mom said "it takes a bitch to know one". My mom came back to the car and we discussed that we would go to a new Sally's, that place lost our business for sure. The worker was being really rude, didn't want to give her name, her managers nor the corporate or her managers number. She didn't want to help the bystanders / customers either and stayed on her phone. As a dental professional, I was mortified by my recent visit to Windcrest Cosmetic Dentistry. I was…read morescheduled for a routine cleaning and exam at 3:00 p.m. The hygienist I was schduled to see, Dominique, was running behind, so the dental assistant brought me back, and Dr. Patel -- whom my husband and I have always had great experiences with -- performed my exam first. The hygienist finally came into the room around 3:20 p.m., and by 3:36 p.m., I was already checked out at the front desk. I have never had a cleaning that lasted only about 15 minutes (which included the time Dominique had to santize the dental chair, saliva ejector and water hoses), especially being overdue for my regular visit. What concerned me even more was the lack of infection control. The dental instruments were opened from the sterilization bag before I entered the room. I had to ask the hygienist to sanitize the dental chair, saliva ejector and water hoses because it didn't appear to have been cleaned prior to my visit (white particles visible on surfaces mentioned), and I was handed visibly dirty patient glasses. As someone who works in the dental field, I found this completely unacceptable and concerning for patient safety. It also saddens me that when I brought this issue to the attention of the front office staff upon checking out, nothing was done to address or rectify the situation. No apology was offered, which was very disappointing and left a poor final impression. Whether this was due to running behind schedule or simply a lack of care, the experience was extremely disappointing. Despite my positive experiences with Dr. Patel, my family and I will not be returning after this visit.

Update 4/7/26 - My most recent experience with your office was below expectations and has led me to…read moreconsider seeking care elsewhere. I visited for a routine cleaning in late 2025, during which I felt the dental hygienist appeared inexperienced and uncertain in her technique. After the cleaning, while measuring periodontal pocket depths, the probe was left in my mouth while she turned away to chart. Additionally, the pressure applied during the exam was excessive and inconsistent with my previous visits, where my dental health has been stable. When Dr. De La Garza came in for the exam, I mentioned my concerns and expressed that I did not feel the measurements were accurate. Despite this, I was advised to schedule a deep cleaning, which I believe may have been recommended based on those questionable measurements. More recently, I received a call to schedule my next cleaning. During that conversation, I calmly and professionally explained my prior experience and shared that I was open to continuing care with the practice, provided I could be scheduled with a different hygienist. I also emphasized that my intention was simply to share feedback and resolve the issue. I was surprised when the response I received was an offer to remove me from the call list rather than address my concern. When I expressed my surprise and reiterated my desire to remain a patient while having my concerns acknowledged, the conversation was abruptly ended. After more than 10 years as a patient, I find this experience disappointing. I value the care I have received in the past, but I am concerned by how this situation was handled. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as my preference would be to continue care with your office under improved circumstances. (4/7/26) Update #2 - I contacted the office and spoke with the Office Manager to ensure my concerns were clearly communicated. While she did offer the option of scheduling with a different hygienist, I was interrupted during my explanation of the situation. She referenced notes in the chart and appeared to focus on defending the hygienist rather than simply listening. As a registered nurse who also works in service recovery, I place a high value on active listening and empathy. I was disappointed by what felt like a lack of both during this interaction. Had my concerns been fully acknowledged with a simple apology and then followed by the proposed solution, I would have been willing to schedule an appointment immediately. The call itself lasted less than five minutes. This reinforces my impression that my concerns were not given adequate attention, or the office manager was just too busy to listen. Unfortunately, this experience leaves me feeling as though patient relationships and long-term retention may not be a priority.
