As a professional mechanic, I have been using them for years. I usually go to the Henderson, Nevada location, but I have also picked up parts from their north Las Vegas location... All my experiences have been great, their customer service is always a phone call away if you have questions. I have purchased many engines and transmissions, as well as various other parts. I bought an LS swap from them, they removed it from a truck in Oregon and brought it to the Henderson location, I had asked them to not damage the wiring harness and other parts I would need and they fully delivered! I don't understand all the bad reviews, possibly from people that aren't used to auto wreckers?? read more

I personally will not buy another item from them. they list on their site the part is in excellent condition then they send you a part from a different model vehicle. i was even sent a total wrong part i did not order which was a fuse box cover is what i needed and they sent me a fuse box. i ordered 4 parts from them, they said to me everything wass in and so i drive down there and two items were wrong and one item was missing, I asked for a refund for the item missing and for the wrong items sent and they said they have to contact the seller..I thought the seller was B and R. I called customer service the 1-800 number and was explaining my situation to the rep and while i was speaking to him he just placed me on hold so i hear music like fuck me. The idiots here charged me double for the same part told me it would be returned to my account. It's been days. I still haven't heard back from them regarding my part. I've spent one hour on hold. I've called back a second time and asked for a representative to call me back and no one's called me with an hours and I left a voicemail and still nothing. These people just took hundreds of dollars and didn't even supply me with a damn part. If you could avoid this place, avoid it I'm still trying to figure out what the heck is going on and why it's so difficult to order part and get it within the same week and you know be charged only the price of the part. Here's the sequence of events: 1. Called and ordered a trans through Tom in September 2024. Specifically advised Tom that since we were in Montana, we didn't know how long it would be before we could pick it up. He advised that wouldn't be a problem. 2. We paid for the trans at that time. 3. February 7th, 2025 we had someone in Vegas able to pick it up. He went to the location, and they advised that since we hadn't picked it up within thirty days they weren't going to let us have it, even though it was still on the shelf. 4. After a great deal of discussion, they agreed to let us pick up the trans we paid for "as a courtesy". 5. As they were unloading it, they dropped it and broke it. 6. They advised our two options were to a) take the broken trans or b) pay more for one they have in Eugene, OR, but it would HAVE to be shipped to Vegas and we would still have only thirty days to then retrieve that trans, which we clearly wouldn't be able to do. They refused to have it shipped to one of their closed locations. 7. The culmination of this was that we were out the money and out a transmission. I don't know how these people could actually have that conversation with us with a straight face. This is a garbage organization, and I don't know how anyone who works here can sleep at night. read more

If I could leave a NEGATIVE STAR rating I WOULD! AFTER I PAID FOR MY ORDER IN FULL.. I GOT NOTHING BUT THE RUN AROUND FROM THESE PEOPLE. Full scope: DAY 1: I was told by an employee over the phone my order was available to be picked up at the store in Henderson, NV. However, it was NOT there. I was told by an employee in the store that it was shipped to the other location (across town) and I would have to pick it up from there. * later found out - at the time of my interactions with the store employee, my order HADNT even been shipped from its original location yet.* Unfortunately, since I alread paid for my parts, i didn't have much choice, other than to drive across town to get my order. DAY 2: Upon calling to double check that my order was ready to be picked up at the N. LAS Vegas location, i was again told to "come down," "my order is there." So I head down there .... From Henderson to North Las Vegas.... Only to be met by an unhelpful employee, who tells me they don't have my parts there. He refused to offer any remedies to the situation, and was pretty disrespectful, actually. He told me that "whoever I talked to, didn't know how to do their job ... " And that i should "come back tomorrow " ...AGAIN !!... now I'm irritated. DAY 3: I go down to the N. Las Vegas location again... and YES, they actually have them.... The guy comes back with my ALREADY PAID FOR parts, half dragging/half kicking a beat up, OPEN, OLD box. He lifts the lid so I can check my parts and walks off... No surprise, they were incorrect, and appeared to be damaged. I tell the employee that what he drug out ISNT what i ordered and I not accepting what was presented to me as an adequate part. He then put me on the phone with my original saleman (Jordan). After saying "hello", he gets straight to the issue at hand.. Stating he only "ordered the part from the stock ID # I gave him." which I agree, was what I wanted him to do ... As the ID# MATCHED the parts described (not pictured [no photo was available of the specific part]) in the listing.. Jordan then proceeded to tell me, I was in the wrong and "I don't know the meaning of the description used in the listing." At which point he and I go back and forth for a few minutes.... He then says "Okay, I'll refund you the order ....but.... I'm going to charge you for shipping and 20% restocking fee for the item." I immediately tell him that I didn't make the mistake of ordering a wrong part. The error was on his side for falsely describing the item he was trying to pass off to me. Again, we go back and forth and eventually he agreed to refund the total amount of the order. Which i requested written confirmation to be emailed to me immediately of this agreement. I recieved the written agreement. the end of the business day has already come and gone and my refund still has not come through so far. That being said..... * I made 3 trips * on 3 different days * to 2 different stores after being told lies from various employees from the get-go.... -Time wasted... - Gas wasted ... And was treated with nothing but disrespect, by a low quality group of employees. I will never go back there and will be telling my friends, family, and everyone who owns a vehicle to NEVER make the same mistake I did. I was driving my 2003 pt cruiser that I got in my uncles will after he got attacked by wild dogs and shot six times in mexico. (He died of a heart attack) My uncles custom pharell Williams pt cruiser (2003) has had a lot of problems with the gas pump. it broke down on train and Swenson after I bought some glass and a yellow Chevrolet Silverado pulled over. A handsome young man named Gordo got out and helped me push my uncles custom pt cruiser (2003) to the liquor store. He told me he works at B&R I asked him if he was the owner and that if the B&R stood for Beautiful and Remarkable because thats what he was. He told me he works there and he can get a fuel pump for my pt cruiser (2003). I indeed went and got my fuel pump. I asked for him in the office but he was not there. I wanted to shake his hand and give him a kiss on those beautiful teeth of his. I belive Gordo should get some sort of acknowledgement for his wonderfull act. I have always been pleased with the service and the parts they have provided. they are "used parts" from wrecked vehicles so I try to do my homework on the vehicle the part came from to hopefully eliminate any potential problems. So they tell people to pay for parts they don't even have in stock!?? To top it off, the guy wouldn't issue a refund because he had to go investigate and find out what happened with his employe. My husband and I were in Vegas with some friends when our flight home got cancelled so we had to find a random hotel to stay at. The one we found happened to be close to this salvage yard. I was told my part was at the Henderson location and would be at the smiley at location the next day all I had to do was pay for it so I did and the next day I called the smiley location to find out the status on my part. Low and behold they told me the Henderson location never even had the part and now I would have to wait an additional 2 days because the part is now coming from their oroville location. They only had 2 parts and 1 is in oroville and the other was in Oregon! Such bs!!!! Why would you sell me a part you don't have??? Or own??? First timer in Vegas, came to check out the junk yards because I always hear about all the great inventory.. but my experience here was horrible, One of the ladies up front was very knowledgeable but there was another girl with straight long hair with highlights who clearly didn't know what she was doing, waited 15 minutes for her to assist me but she was too busy on the phone. If your willing to hunt down your parts they have a wide selection of inventory, but there was a white skinhead who had tattoos on his face that worked there, this guy rushed off of his loader and began to say "what the fuck is this dumb*ss doing over here" The way that he charged at me made me feel like he was on drugs and I felt like he was going to attack me for being on the wrong side of the yard. This is NOT okay, please properly train your employees and hire better staff. read more

The salesman over the phone ordered the wrong part for me , he sold me a door actuator instead of a door lock cylinder. He charged me $75 for the wrong part and wouldn't refund me the money. Says he could send me the correct part which he says they don't usually sell but not if I got a refund. I was willing to pay the price for the door lock cylinder but he wouldn't send it to me if I got a refund on the door lock actuator. I've called 3 times to get a refund, supervisors have been email and yet I gotten no response , the salesman Kipp or Kit probably didn't want to lose a sale but this is bad customer service all the way around. I won't be doing business with them anymore and I'll be sure to tell anyone that is looking for parts NOT to call them. read more

I really like this place Bc they have had the car part I need almost every time I've called, which I think has been like 4. I have an older Lexus ls400 so not like hellllllla popular car so that's been nice. They are always really friendly and helpful on the phone and their prices are great. All parts come w a 30 day warrantee or you can pay for a 6 month one. The reason why I gave them 4 and not 5 stars is Bc one time the part they gave me (the driver window motor) didn't fit in my car even tho it was pulled off the same year and model so I had to drive back to them to have them switch it out but luckily they had a second one on the lot that they gave me right away. I'm going to get my third part from them tmrw. I call this spot every time something's wrong w my car and I get an estimate from a shop. I'd hit em up. read more

I ordered for a car part paid it in person Henderson location they promised me that parts will be ready in 5 days, 2'weeks later and after driving to the location 4x, taking to them over the phone and texting them. Here i sit on day 16, waiting for my part that was supposed to be here weeks ago!! first, after assuring me the correct part was ordered, it arrived in good time but it was not the correct part. My mechanic Called Alexis Alvarez (the customer rep for B & R ), who stated he would take care of it and the part would be here Monday, Nov 9th, well Friday the 13th arrived and my transfer case did not. We again called Alexis, who stated the driver had my part in Central Point, OR (im in Northern Cali) and the driver didnt want to drive 2 hours because of rain! Alexis even sent me a copy of the text from Roberto, stating that the weather (light rain) caused him to not do his job as a deliverer of car parts. My mechanic, who is familiar with the B & R in CP, OR called them directly and spoke to the manager and was told they would deliver my part on Monday and call HIM if there was any delay. IT is clear to me that customer satisfaction IS NOT this companies main focus or focus at all. I texted Alexis before posting this and have still not received a response. In fact, if i had not already been waiting a MONTH for my work truck that i need to survive, i would have cancelled this order and started over with another place. EXTREMELY disappointed with every aspect of this transaction. Before using this place, exhaust ALL OTHER OPTIONS. SERIOUSLY. ON a side note, i have yet to actually see the part to determine the quality of said part, which, if this companies behavior is any indication of that, it will be complete crap. DO NOT PAY CASH, USE A CC, at least youll have some form of protection if they do this to you too. We got a seat for our 2011 ford f150 from this place & first off the price was great they let you make offers on what you after like WHO DOES THAT ! Second when we picked the seat up I asked if we could go out & get the bolts because the truck we bought was missing the seat & the bolts so the guy took me out to the truck to get the bolts @ NO CHARGE ! We will no doubt be back I really like how they treated us & they also have lots of late model cars & trucks its just a good operation ! read more

Shannon has always given us excellent customer service. He's much friendlier, goes the extra mile for us, and has done a better job getting us the parts we need than the Henderson location. Even though we live in Henderson, we'll drive the extra distance to deal with Shannon. We have had problems with an online order. The part came in but did not work. We contacted the online sales department within the 90 day warranty period, and were told that we would get store credit in the amount of the part, however, the person we spoke to transferred to another department and put no notes in the computer regarding the store credit. Shannon and Jose at the N. Las Vegas store tried their best to contact the individual we spoke with via email, and did everything they could, but that person never responded back to us or to Shannon. Basically we lost $300 that we paid for a non functional part. The warranty was a joke. Not cool B & R. The only reason we have purchased anything through B & R since has nothing to do with your company, or how you handle your warranties, it is due solely to the service and assistance we get from the N. Las Vegas office. Yes they are dishonest, refused to give my core money back. Each time I inquired they told a different story. Rude on phone calls and hung up on me. They lie and stick together. You can't do business with someone out of state who did not handle the money and people in town (Vegas) who only want your money. Stand in your face and tell you they didn't help you like you stupid. Told me the camera told them they gave my correct money. If I still have core why did they give money back with out core, lie after lie or is it because I am old and black? Called corporate office no help, they sent invoice that I don't have and was not given to me. Corporate said that I had to ask for my money WOW , you know someone who wants to give any money away to a business, I don't. Can not get store because corporate office answers phone and want transfer or can't. I am a senior and I don't have money to give away.
