Especially when, and I QUOTE, "I can only give you this price today." That is a QUOTE. And guess what? When I demanded my keys back, and they took their sweet time giving them back to me, with much protesting, I went straight to another mechanic, and guess what? NONE OF THE 4K WORTH OF WORK THESE GUYS CLAIMED I NEEDED HAD TO BE DONE!!!!! Scam artists. Also I don't believe they do everything they say they do, and I think they sabotage other things so you have to come back either way. Crooked auto shop. I found a Groupon for an alignment because my car was pulling to the right. I could have adjusted it myself but I prefer to have someone with equipment to calibrate it precisely. Brought it over to their shop and left it with them for an hour. When I came back they explained to me that I basically needed a whole new front end, shocks, struts, control arms, stabilizers, ball joints, the whole shebang. I declined service and took the car home. Decided to try adjusting the camber bolt on the front driver side to adjust the alignment in the y direction. It came out darn near perfect. So obviously they didn't even touch the camber bolt and decided that I was ignorant and tried to scam me for a $2,000 repair job that wasn't necessary. Do not go to these people. They're dishonest and they will rob you blind. read more

The Manager is a complete rude jerk. He lies about things you need on your car. After a diagnostic he said I needed $5,000 worth of work on my car.I was Scheduled to leave for Laughlin, he said not to drive it. I replaced the gas cap for $10 check engine light went off and I drove it to Laughlin. I was so distraught when he told me that I started crying ..He got annoyed with me and threw my key at me and told me to go elsewhere and never come back. So insensitive. I kept saying I was sorry for being so overwhelmed. I am a senior citizen on a limited income. I would never recommend these crooks. This is not over!! Just had my car serviced at this location on e Fremont. Based on my previous pleasant visit at the sunrise location I decided to give this one a shot since I live closer to it now. Worst experience I've ever had at a repair shop. I went in for a regular oil change due to a great deal I found on Groupon for $27. During my service a rep came out and suggested an oil flush (which my dumb self agreed to) he baited me in to an $180 redundant bogus service by scaring me and giving me a "discount". He agreed to give me $60 off because that's the original price for an oil change. Keep in mind I already paid $27 out of pocket for the Groupon. When it was time to check out total came out to 129.99. I asked the rep to deduct the difference since I already paid the $27 out of pocket from the Groupon. He refused and didn't "understand" when explaining to him. He stated that those $27 from Groupon they didn't get which makes no sense. I told him 129.99 +27=156.99 which he responded that's still better than paying the full price. So he was just gaslighting me at this point and didn't want to charge me the correct amount. Amongst my frustration I decided to get the authorities involved. After holding on the non emergency line for 10 mins the rep said " I don't know how the cops are gonna help you out" after that he decided to ask me what "I" wanted to pay. I just want to pay my correct due. Me agreeing on the bogus service was my fault getting scammed again out of money is not. After a few more minutes they decided to charge me the amount that should've been charged in the first place. Once paid I signed my invoice which I noticed said do not service. Mid sign the rep said "you sure you don't wanna read it before you sign" lol. After he gave me my copy he highlighted that I wasn't welcome at any of the Nevada auto center locations. Only regret I have from that is not being able to visit the honest people at the sunrise location. Oh well I prefer not getting scammed. So do yourself a favor a do not fall for the fear mongering tactics to get you to get a service that shouldn't even exist. I came here for alignment They said wait for 20 minutes until their guy will come back, I did wait 30 minutes guys still didn't came back. I asked him if I can leave the car here they say no (and I already called Uber, paid 6$ for constellation) because I have to stay here well they doing alignment. Stupid policy ... I just have to say, I've never had such an easy experience at a mechanic shop. As a non-car expert, I almost always leave mechanics feeling like I was ripped off. They usually list off a bunch of parts and issues I have no idea about, only to relay the info to my knowledgeable car friends to have them tell me the mechanic was full of I came for an oil change, and of course, they told me something else was wrong. I was already expecting it because mechanics ALWAYS try to tell you there is more wrong. This time was actually different. When I was unsure of what was going on, the mechanic working on my car at the time (Daniel, I believe) actually took me to my car to see the issue. I needed an axel replaced. He let me compare the axel needing repair to the other side of my vehicle that didn't need an axel replaced. I saw the oil pooling where the other side was clean. I actually understood haha I was in and out of the shop within 2 hrs, the price was definitely on the low end when I was comparing prices online, and even some car friends of mine agreed it was a great price and also agreed the axel needed replaced based off of what I saw under my car. All in all, I left feeling good. They offer 0% interest payment plans for like 6months for bad credit as well. It's just a small, personal shop that tries to make their clients happy. Francisco was one of the mechanics, and he's such a kind person offering drinks and water as soon as I arrived. Daniel was another mechanic and was very easy to talk to. He thoroughly explained the issues my car had in a way I could understand. And the young lady at the front desk, I never caught her name (the mechanics had their names on their uniforms) was SO FUN to chat with while I waited! All I remember is hearing, "we don't call her Aladin we call her the Genie!" She was so great and a perfect person to have at the front desk. She's so sweet. Thank you guys for the smooth experience. After I was scammed of $3300 on parts and labor, at their Sunrise location, I was sent to Freemont location, as the manager, Daniel, who worked at Sunrise- now was at Freemont. I came, asked for bad motor mounts replacement, as I paid for 4 new mounts, they never replaced all four, only the easy ones, on passenger side. My engine is not held, swinging all over the place, they never fixed Oil gasket leak, waz still leaking, they created a new breakage- loud pops and bangs on drivers side, inder my seat. I was kicked out by Daniel and others at this location as they use agressive " scare tactics", after they scam you of thousands. I was threatened jail, trespassing, blacklisted from coming back, regardless of my active one year warranty and their scam of $3300. I contacted DMV investigation unit, they came and requested compliance. The owner faked compliance, after askung to give him two weeks. After DMV investigation, he agreed to fix bad mounts/new noises/oil leak... It was another scam. Pls, stay away from this business at all costs. They use scare tactics, after robbing you of your cash, demanded prior to repairs. In full. I reached back to DMV investigation unit and Attorney General fraud deptm. Will be seing them in court. $3300 is a lot of money for being scammed and without a car for 6 months now. The owner finally wrote, that my motor mounts are worn, yet, reported them as brand new to investigator. Horrid. Stay away. read more

The measure of good service is not necessarily when things go alllllll right, but also when there are delays or complications, how do they deal with them? Are they efficient communicators, do they take accountability? Are they willing to fix what is broken. Are they flexible? I started off at the Clark location after going there originally for a coolant leak. After they ran diagnostics they came up with$3000 worth of damage. Everyones nightmare when moneys tight. Brian at NV auto on Clark mansplained all the error codes and pointed out all these leaks that I was having at the time, misunderstanding this to be the problem we came in for since we DID explain the coolant issue, I thought he was saying the leaks had something to do with it. Nope one week later and$3000 later, on a loan I might add, I had to come up with$366 dollars to fix what I originally came in for. I of course was livid but went ahead and paid. I did express to Brian my concerns and that if I had known the actual fix was 366.00 I would not have gotten the other stuff just yet, nonetheless I paid it and went on my way. Since then I have been getting a big red glaring error message on my Mercedes but it's never on when I take it back to them. I take a picture every time. The error message has to do with the oil being to excessive. I have been to the shop at least 4 times after the initial fix! That's 6 times. 2 to 4 hours each time. I'm a strong woman with a presence I been told. Recently by a Nevada auto employee Daniel at the Fremont location. He said I was talking down to him because I asked questions, he literally said because I keep having the front desk girl ask questions (how long it'll be, what will you be doing this time that you didn't do last time?) things like that. Mind you I asked before and the answer was"we are doing a couple of things" um can I know what things? Now he's accusing me of basically being an angry black woman because I want to know what is going on. He literally said I pointed at him in a negative way, you know the way black people sometimes do when they want to get a point across. I'm familiar with that behavior and I'm far from it. I had to remind him that this is business and while this is an unpleasant conversation we are having you do not get to misinterprete my intentions. My intentions are to ask questions until I feel satisfied that I'm dealing with a level of competence that is capable of admitting mistakes, dealing with customers compassionately and not talking to me like I don't deserve to know every detail of what's going on with my vehicle. Daniel even went as fae as to say"we are doing you a favor". Because the other shop on Clark asked the shop on Fremont to service my vehicle. (Huh?) I'm sure they will respond to this review and I have said all I need to say. I will update if I need to. The car is being looked at as we speak. You decide if you trust this kind of service. I'm definitely done with NV auto after this experience. I just hope my car is fine and they don't do anything careless. **I'm updating this bc Daniel did come back and offer to replace a part if we get the light again. And he had a more professional and pleasant demeanor at this time. I still think the shop on Clark could have done more and I will be posting this review on that shops review link as well. I need to speak to the owner of this shop about the way I was treated. I had a part to be replaced a shift gear module and I got a quote for a price so when I got the part I came back and I was quoted a price that was a lot different from the price I was quoted before. Francisco did not want to replace the part for the cheaper price I was already quoted by a previous manager and his excuse was its gonna take him two days to take the part out and replace it when this job takes about 10 minutes to do. When I explained that to them they said oh yes its not gonna take that long and they switched the part out for me in about a hour. When I got in my car I noticed my shift gear knob had been damaged like he tried to detach it the wrong way. I went back and told him he damaged my knob. I wasn't loud I didn't cuss and I was still being nice like I always am because I am not a mean person. They bought me the part and told me they can't put it on for me. Really anyone who got their part damaged would ask him why he did that I never got loud with them or anything. All of this is because Daniel or Francisco seemed like they had a issue with how much the previous manager quoted me for the job and for them to say I was talking down to him that is crazy I was being nice so they can fix what they did. Research your repairs before you let them work on your car because they would have got me out of a lot more money if I wasn't smart enough to research before I got the work done. I went up there 2 times when they were telling me its gonna take a long time to take the center console out trying to make me pay more when I already knew it was a quick job. If you are smart don't take your car to this shop. I took my son Dodge Challenger in on 2-10 for a code for oil pressure sensor. Brian made me feel comfortable that my son car was in good hands. He also suggested other repairs and I was ok with them. The repairs came up to 2400 after all his suggestions. When I advised him of the code, he told me that he didn't believe in auto zone code machine or my son code machine, which both machines came with the same code. We picked up the car on Feb 14 and again the check engine light came back on. We took the car back on Feb 17 and again Brian is telling me nothing is wrong with that car and drive it 50 miles. He even got really defensive because I was voicing my concerns. We left that day and later that day the car cut off in the middle of the intersection. We towed the car back to my house and then towed the car back to Nevada Auto Center on Feb 18th or 19th. Again Brian is trying to convince me that there is nothing wrong with the car and they did all the repairs correctly. Brian is such a liar. We then left the car there and he called me on Feb 21 and told me that he drove the car 50 miles and the car was good. My son drove the car today Feb 22, less than 2 miles and the check engine light is back on. He lied to me once again. I'm never taking my car back there or my family and now I have to find someone or take it to the dealership to get fixed. I just wanted to find a honest mechanic outside the dealership. And he let me know they are not a good company. Also when my mom went to go pick the car up on Feb 21st, she took me that 2 customers walked in Nevada Auto Center, complaining that there check engine light was back on and another gentleman was complaining because his brakes was messed up after they say they repaired them. And Brian was trying to get me to add on the brakes. The fact that he got upset and defensive because he didn't repair the car is rude and unprofessional. The fact that originally me, my aunt and my cousin was trying to go to his cousin shop on Russell and Boulder and was was told to go Brian shop. He also advise my him and his cousin was in competition. But I should have went to his cousin because he fixed my daughter Malibu and she drove off the lot with no problems and still no problems. He even tried to tel me that my son car has a lot of issues! A car that has been drove back and forth to Arizona. He told me when you hook a car up to the code reader, that there are hidden codes. I'm not a mechanic but that is a first i ever heard of that. If I was a mechanic I would make sure my job is perfect and satisfy my customers because that's how you keep people happy and that's how you keep business. Went in with bumper damage. Was told they will order bumper and paint. Took a week then bumper was put on then left. Bumper started to fall off and was not correct. I went back 5x to location and every time told me it's fine and fixed. Come to find out I was finally told that the brackets were broken and missing. It took them to the 5th time for them to tell me and I was pretty upset as l left work many times and waited at the shop for hours. Shop manager Alex told me off and said he will not help me. Told me to come back and will have to look at it again. He requested more money trom me for a job the was not done. The bumper to this day is not fixed properly. I ended up going to their other location and they were very helpful. But bumper has still not been fixed. Since then manager Alex was fired and no longer with company. Rude and the fact he asked me to come back a 6th time to fix the most basic thing. Brackets were never fixed and one is still missing that holds the bumper on the car. read more

Got a simple oil change and they broke my purge valve and traction was off because my tires were damaged. there's a check engine light the next day and 2 days later my car starts stalling on the highway. Cost me $300 to have someone who actually knows things to repair the purge valve alone. I called these ghouls and they wouldn't pick up the phone either afterwards. Not honest at all.
