Waited a week for the guy after all the excuses because he sounded like an honest man. He tells me the tow truck will come tomorrow and then shows up out of no where 30minutes later. He then tried to bait and switch on the payment after offering $250. The tow truck driver "only has a check." Recycling companies are notorious for paying with check that bounce. All they need as the title signed and they got all the leverage. He said "just take picture of my truck" which I could not find the company on google maps. The guy acts like he is leaving then bust out $225 cash and said that's all he can I offer. I say no the offer is $250. He then pretends to leave again and then comes back with an offer of $225 plus $25 check but at this rate all trust is gone. Every one of these companies use the same shady tactics. Edit: updated with google review response. My phone records all calls and gives a transcript of the conversation as well. I told you how companies like peddle offer checks and they end up bouncing and you said that's fine cause we pay cash. Look at the sass and disrespect in his response. This looks like a dishonest man caught in a lie to me. This is the man y'all are doing business with. I'd recommend looking elsewhere. read more

Unfortunately we had to deal with a lot of junk yards , including out of state ones during last project my dad had and I can tell you these guys are great. Very friendly , very reliable, honest and trustworthy. Through whole process they were only speaking the truth which you can rarely find nowadays in general but especially I found that junk yard bussiness in very dirty in every way . YELP 365 CHALLENGE 2014-(119/365) " Well Kept Junk" So Pops likes to fix cars up, and for some reason, he couldn't find a certain part he was looking for back home, so when they were in town, he phoned a few places, and Dis & Dat had what he was looking for. We navigated this place, and it was way out in the Sunrise area. We got there an hour before closing, and surprisingly this Asian owned junkyard was one of the more cleaner ones I've seen where other ones just look like a straight up pig sty. The guys behind the counter were very nice and helpful, and we were in and out in no time. One of the guys were even nice enough to disconnect the part from the car at no charge, where other places nickel and dime you with a small fee. Pops said he would've easily paid over $100 for his car part but he was more than happy that he only spent $40 and that the part was small and light enough to haul back home in his carry on. ALOHA!!! While there are bigger salvage yards (we call 'em "bone yards") with more cars, this has a very family owned feel to it (and I found out later that it is indeed family owned). The counter folks are super friendly and helpful. Be sure to ASK for cars you are looking for, they have some behind the lines that they'll let certain parts go (but don't disturb a whole engine for example). Anyway, great place... a little out of the way and not fancy-schmancy, but friendly goes a LONG way. read more

Look at the name of the company. It say "U pull" That's all bs. I called in advance about parts, drove my ass 28 minutes down there and was told I couldn't go get the parts I needed. Not sure how this place has received positive reviews but my experience there was not good. The young man at the front counter had a terrible attitude and was not friendly at all. The section they call a junkyard is an absolute joke. It looked more like a graveyard than a junkyard. While calling around to get estimates for replacement of the right axle we were referred here. Got a decent quote and brought my niece's car in on a Saturday and was told will be finished by end of the day. Later we received a call advising that both sides of the axle needed repair (they never looked at the car prior) and we approved it. What an incredible surprise to receive a call before 2pm that the car was finished AND the total repair for both axles was less than the estimate! Note: the place was difficult to find if relying on GPS and not familiar with the area. It wanted us to turn on streets that didn't exist. read more

This was my first time ever to a "u-pull" auto parts store. I was looking for a replacement horn for my 2005 Hyundai Accent. I found that they had one at their lot through offerup.com. When I arrived, I told the person at the front that I was interested in Accent. There was luckily two on the lot. There is NO ENTRY FEE, which I believe other establishments charge. It was so cool to be able to look at all of the cars and what they had left to salvage. The worker at the front was even able to lend me a fuse remover. I was able to take 2 car horns, 2 car horn fuses, a cup holder, and a gas cap for a Dodge Dart all for only $15. The store usually has a $30 minimum for card use; however, the worker allowed me to use my debit card for my purchase since I didn't have enough cash on me. A new horn at most part stores cost $18 alone. I was able to fix my horn easily and it sounds/works great! read more

I needed a few parts to fix up this old car. I've been to 10 yards in town and called double that. I found a few, but only after many that said they had the part, but did not, and others that smelled of urine with the employees drinking beer at the counter. Damn is this place just the opposite. The employees are coherent and actually care, the place is clean and the prices are more than reasonable.After I got a part from the one yard where they pull the part, he showed me the other yard where it is $15 for whatever you pull yourself. this place is pure garbage and a waste of time!!!! 3 trips and still couldn't fix their mess up!!!!!!! I went down there 3 time for a simple distributor so my car would create spark well with zero luck my car never started cause they gave me the wrong distributor the first time then the second time they gave me one but would not work at all I tested it and the coil was burnt out I called again now I'm getting frustrated explain the situation and tell them there is zero spark I've been a mechanic for 16 years and they tried to question if I know what I'm doing and tell me my car has something else wrong not! I put a distributor off of my 2000 honda civic if fired up perfect but they refused to watch the video I need both cars running not one then told me to use the distributor off my 2000 I told them how's my wife supposed to drive to work we have 2 vehicles for a reason this place is garbage don't waste your time after all the frustration I found a brand new one on ebay will be here in 3 days for the same exact price save yourself the headache seriously what a trip well 3 trips and a freakin migrain!!!!!!!!!! I found a part took it to the counter and lo and behold they said it was $30 how can that be I have no idea so be aware if they tell you $15 it could be more.
