After a lifetime of fine, thin, "nothing" hair, I did it: I got hair extensions. Not only did it give me volume, body and style to my hair but it also restored my confidence in myself. I really hated going to outings or any formals because there was nothing you can do to my hair to make it look nice. There just wasn't enough of it and it looked so drab. Enter Bauer Haur Lounge. They had a plan in place within two minutes of looking at my hair that I was already starting to feel 50% better and I wouldn't get my extensions for another two weeks. The salon is very beautiful and they offer so many amenities like the fancy warmth of an amazing cup of coffee. Their shampoo room and your time spent there is a total zen moment. It was such a pleasure to work with Brooke and Macy. They are the kindest most compassionate and hospitable people in the business that I ever met. They really took their time to ensure not only that I was looking amazing but I was feeling really well. It's been 3 months since I had my extensions (partial mesh with a combination of comb thru placements on top). They customize placement and do hybrid placements accordingly. I never knew they could do that. I thought it was one size fits all. Anyway, I'm super excited to return this week for maintenance and I'm looking forward to my visit. If I would have only found them sooner. I really slept on this one. Getting extensions is the most thought out procedure I ever had and I'm just glad to finally do it. Brooke Bauer Boutique is amazing! The day before my families event I received a conformation message I asked if I would be done a certain time and the girls allowed me to come in earlier so I'd be done in time for my event. They went above and beyond to make sure I'd be ready. Jessica was my stylist for the day I highly recommend her ! She was very thorough and made sure it was exactly what I wanted. I got both hair and makeup done and she along with Heidi help made me look beautiful! I got so many compliments from family and strangers about how beautiful I looked. I will definitely be back! I can't speak highly enough about these wonderful ladies! #thebbbteam is professional, classy, and fun! For my wedding day, I was lucky enough to have the talents of Heidi, Brooke, Ani, and Alyssa to help my mom, bridesmaids, and myself with hair and makeup. I had trials with Heidi and Brooke prior to the big day and they both took plenty of time with me to make sure I was 100% satisfied with my makeup and hair. On the day of the wedding, I even made a change to my hairstyle and Brooke totally rolled with it! She also did two bridesmaids' hair, both of which were so pretty! I had a haircut done by Jessica. She was professional, personable, and knowledgeable. I usually have a hard time liking a new haircut or my hair in general. However, Jess was able to give me a phenomenal experience. I never felt out of place in the salon and I had a great time talking with Jess. I've been going to Brooke since she was renting a space at SASS. Loved her 6 years ago and love her even more now. She has evolved so much through the years. Her salon in Tinley is quite honestly the cutest salon you'll ever go to. It's so clean and something you'd only dream to be in. She's hired a phenomenal team of stylists. This is my first time at B/Bauer hair lunge and as a hijabi woman, finding a salon where I feel both comfortable and respected can be challenging, but my experience here was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. The staff were incredibly warm and accommodating, making sure I had the privacy I needed without even having to ask. for. All stylist were kind and attentive, taking the time to make it a point to say hello. The salon itself is spotless and well maintained. Brooke & Emma are two AMAZING and TALENTED women! I have never walked out of a salon as happy as I did yesterday. I have been wanting to go more blonde for quite a while now , and it has left me with a very brassy color . This is my 3rd visit to the Des Plaines location and I'm a lifer! First thing I look for in any place I plan on frequenting is the vibe. B/Bauer has more than a good vibe! THE TALENT is the real deal here! Macy, my stylist, has such an incredibly fun personality packed into her adorable self! Not only does she give me the best cut and color (Red Head) with those skilled hands of hers, she also offers a service that includes the best head, neck,shoulder, arms and hands massage I HAVE EVER HAD! Ladies, DO IT! I promise you will not regret it! I have WASTED so much money on massages elsewhere with minimal or no relief immediately! She massaged literal knots out of my scalp! I have been going to Julie for 6 years now and I can't even begin to explain how amazing she is!! Not only is she an extremely talented hairstylist but she truly cares about what she is doing. Ashley did an amazing job of fixing my hair and color from what a different salon did previously! She worked with me online prior to the appointment so that I could get started repairing the damage to my hair. Ashley listened to me and we discussed all of my options until I felt comfortable. Came to Jess to talk about extensions, i had the extensions installed and it was such a smooth/fun experience. the extensions are amazing, you cannot tell i even have them in! i absolutely love them and it's so easy to maintain and do any hairstyle with!!!
