This review only pertains to their brow lamination service. I went here to get my brows laminated - have done so multiple times before but at a different place with no issues. That place was booked up and I wanted to get my brows laminated for my wedding, so I went here due to their 5 star Yelp rating. Obviously looking back, I shouldn't have tried a brand new place the week of my wedding - but I was dumb and didn't think anything could go wrong since I have had my brows laminated numerous times before with no issue. Long story short, they gave me chemical burns on my eyebrows. During the service, I told them multiple times that I felt burning, and that it burned very badly. They said that was normal and to just wait it out. That was my second mistake - not telling them to get the chemicals off my face right then. I knew it wasn't right, since I've never felt that way during previous laminations, but I didn't want to be rude (stupid of me). The result was burns/open wounds on my eyebrows, and I had my wedding in 5 days. Needless to say this caused me an abundance of emotional distress along with the physical pain. Please spare yourself and don't come here for brow lamination. Update in response to the business's reply below: I am now even more concerned after reading your response. In what world is burning your client's face with chemicals and leaving them with open wounds and now permanent scars a "normal" part of the process? As I mentioned, I've had my brows laminated numerous times before this and never have left with burns/open wounds. Temporary redness, yes. Chemical burns? No. Even if I did have sensitive skin, as the technician it is your responsibility to listen to your client & adjust and/or stop the service if your client is voicing that they are in an abnormal amount of pain and you can see burns starting to form. I left an honest review of this business according to my experience and made sure to point out that it was only in regards to the lamination, as I do not have insight to your other services. I want future clients to feel empowered to trust their gut, and not to sit by idly when someone you've trusted with your face is telling them it's normal that they are in pain only to then leave with open wounds and now permanent scars. I have talked to doctors, my dermatologist, and other brow specialists and all of them agree that the chemicals were 100% definitely left on my skin for way too long which led to my injuries. I hope that this is a learning experience for you and your business and you never wound someone like you did me ever again. Good luck to you and your future endeavors.

I have been going to B Brow lounge for over a year now and always have a positive and relaxing experience. She is amazing at perfecting your brows and making you feel comfortable. I had a great experience here! It was very easy to make an appointment, but it's great that BBrow Lounge also takes walk-ins. I got my brows and upper lips threaded and she shaped my brows quite nicely. After she threaded them she gave me a nice massage while applying aloe Vera! I'm always nervous getting my eyebrows done since I have done eyebrow tattooing, but Binju knew exactly what to do with her careful threading given my tattooed pigment. She gave me the exact shape that I asked for and the pricing is really reasonable! Only $15 for an amazing job. I have gone to B Brow now twice during COVID (client pre-COVID as well) and the salon is consistently clean, I am the only client inside during the appointment. Consistent mask wearing, hand sanitizer, etc. Further, Binju always is kind, flexible and willing to work around my crazy schedule, and does an incredibly thorough job on my brows! I will only go to her for my eyebrow threading in SF! read more

Binju is amazing! I've been looking for a good threading place in the city since I moved from the Mission and decided to try this place a few months ago. I went in to get my eyebrows threaded and she did an amazing job. I had never had my eyebrows tinted before and since I felt comfortable with Binju I asked her about the process and decided to try it out. I fell in love! Since then this is the only place I'll visit (despite the 25 min commute). I can't say enough good things about her work and her calm and sweet demeanor. read more

I can't say enough about this place and finally writing this long overdue review Binju is the best!!! I've contemplated Microblading in the past for non-hair growth on my brow (or maybe just taking a REALLY LOOONG time). After seeing her for some time now, she introduced me to "Tinting" which I have to say is one of the best options if you tend to shy away from using sharp objects especially on your face. First, she persistently tries to up-charge me, for three times the price of service i was getting. Once we agreed the correct price is $10(as listed), she gave me serious attitude from that point on. She then went on to give me one of the most painful threading experiences I've ever had. Not only did it leave my skin bright red(my skin's not sensitive), but there were even a few spots of blood coming through!! I mentioned this to her, and there was no remorse, no apology, just a continued bad attitude. Horrible customer service, horrible threader!

What's more frustrating is I booked Gel-X and still got pushed into getting regular gel because Jenny wasn't available, even though the appointment was supposed to be with her. I completely understand she's popular, but it's disappointing to make an appointment for a specific service and technician and not receive either. I always go to binju for threading and waxing whenever I am in sanfrancisco.she is good listener and listen to your request and do it the way you like it not the way she likes, where else lots of salon does that without asking how we like.
