Everything is always so good. THE PORTIONS! Holy cow. I challenge you to eat a whole order of homemade biscuits and gravy. No but seriously you should order a 1/2 order. During that time, both the manager/host and our waitress were sitting together at a table on the opposite side of the restaurant. I do want to recognize the busser, who was the one employee consistently hard at work throughout our visit. He was attentive, busy clearing tables, and ultimately the person who made sure we received service. Once our waitress came over, she was friendly and took our order, but we never saw her again for the rest of the meal. There were no check-ins, no drink refills, and no effort to see how everything was. The food was beautifully presented, but unfortunately it lacked flavor and was already slightly cold by the time it reached our table. To top it off, when we paid our bill, no one asked how our meal was or whether everything had been satisfactory. It felt like there was no interest in the overall guest experience.
