I love being able to customize my own meal. I had the brown rice (carb) with swai (protein) and bok choy (veggie). Came with a good amount of swai filets and brown rice, but not enough bok choy. If you don't want carbs though, they'll double up on the veggies. They have so many different options to choose from to build your own, but plenty of other pre-fixed meals for you, you can't go wrong. I buy my dinners made from B Nutritious and go every week to get the same dinner to eat from Monday through Saturday. They're one of the healthiest food service place I've ever been to. Granted they have a diverse menu to cater to even the 'unhealthy' but the quality of both the ingredients and preparation is what separates them from other food establishments. Liked this place till I was just told that I'm a "security risk," and that's why they wanted my credit card (cc) number for a meal plan order because they couldn't find me in the system. If you need my cc is one thing, but to tell me you need it because I'm a "security risk" is why you need it, it's really messed up to tell your customer. The guy told me that, never asked to double check me in the system or offered to check again. I know I'm in their system, I've been doing meal plans with them a few weeks, and they usually take my payment when I picked it up. I get their text promotions weekly on my cell. Being told that they need my CC over the phone bc I'm a "security risk," is a slap in the face and he told me this after checking with a manager. Nice place nestled along Tyler just north of the 10 fwy and the El Monte Aquatics center. Easy to find parking behind it, or on the street. Been hearing good things about it, and even though their grand opening is August 1st, I decided to come in for some grub. I got their pineapple Shrimp fried rice, which had enough flavors of both pineapple and shrimp, with neither overpowering the other, making for a decent taste of flavor. I got mine with brown rice, as you're given the option of white or brown rice. Here's where I'm docking them a star. When I looked at the receipt, there was a 50c charge for brown rice. If you look at their menu, there's no indication that you have to pay for brown rice. It just says you have the option of white or brown rice. The lady taking my order didn't mention it costs 50c more either. The heck? So I talk to the guy now manning the register as I leave. He's like, oh, yeah, we charge 50c more for brown rice. I'm thinking, that's fine and all, but at least have that information visible somewhere. I don't mind the 50c charge, but at least let me know before I order. Shady. read more

Super healthy and delicious food. If you're trying to get lean or lose weight, this is the place to go to since your diet is extremely important for weight/fat loss. I've been here a couple of times and every time they did not disappoint. The staff are extremely friendly and will help you out with the menu if it's your first time there or if you have any questions. I love natural lighting and they have the best natural lighting peaking through the window. That's why all the photos look so good! haha. The decor is really cute as well. Little things like the giant spoon and fork brings a smile to my face. The pineapple shrimp fried rice will forever be my favorite here. First you pick your carb (white/brown rice, potatos OR skip carbs and double up on veggies), pick your protein, then veggies. There are also "specials" - the peanut chicken and pork chop are DELICIOUS. My husband had the pineapple shrimp fried rice and said it was really good despite being healthy haha. If you dine in, there are sriacha sauces and a custom made mustard-chili aioli sauce that you can use (that sauce is REALLY tasty.) Really happy that a meal prep storefront is available now. The potatoes were baked until they were tender and soft but not falling apart. The asparagus had a refreshing crunch with each bite. My pan fried salmon was moderately seasoned and just a little on the dry side, other than that I enjoyed my dish. My family ordered the minced beef, pork chop, and teriyaki chicken. Out of the 3, I enjoyed the teriyaki chicken the most, it had just enough sauce so you can taste the flavor of the actual chicken too, and that was nice. Their house spicy sauce in the bottles had a good kick and added extra flavor to the food, which was good in my book because I'm a crazy sauce person. We also bought the cookie dough dessert which was fantastic! They were tiny morsels of sweet goodness, that made me crave for more after I left. I know that most of these dishes can be made at home. But I think the concept of this restaurant is more for meal prep and for busy people who want to eat clean here and there but don't have the time to cook it. The first time I didn't try the food, so I didn't have a Yelp review for it myself, but my friend was picking up meal preps for the week after we visited the LA Fit Expo. After they highly recommended it, we just so happened to be in the area once again and we picked up a couple weekly meal preps. I decided to pick up some salmon, Bok choy and cabbage myself since I didn't have meal preps for the week. And omg!!! It was absolutely delicious! Once you order they will prepare your meal for you. The food is good and they don't skimp out on portions. They also have specials if you don't want to customize your own meal. I would recommend bok choy as a choice for veggies, but I honestly feel like you can't go wrong with any choice you make here! The place itself is very spacious and clean. First off location is great because you finally have a healthy reataraunt in El Monte! Right when you walk in you are greeted with warm smiles and hellos. I was greeted and helped by the owner himself! The atmosphere was airy and light to match with the food!
