I've been here with my coworkers so many times now that I've lost count. It's one of those restaurants where we've never had a bad experience and the food and service are consistent. It's one of the default lunch spots for us when we can't decide where else to go and everyone likes their food. The one negative I can point out is the parking situation. It does fill up and sometimes difficult to find a parking spot during busy times. We just have to plan to have our lunches a little earlier and carpool from our office. We called ahead to place a pickup order hoping to try their dumplings. Once we arrived, the service was extremely good for just coming to pick up food. They opened and closed the door for us which was a nice touch because it was busy inside. We ordered the pork ramen, pork buns, and pork soup dumplings. On to the food! Pork Ramen: 3/5 They give you a hefty amount of noodles and pork. They use a thin noodle here which pairs well with the broth. I truly do believe this was around average for ramen as the flavor in the broth was not as strong or savory. The highlight of the entire entree was definitely the pork, which was tender and flavorful. I probably would not order this again. Pork bun: 5/5 The pork buns were soft and fluffy, almost too good looking to eat. There was the right amount of soup and meat inside that made for a wonderful bite full of flavor. Not dry at all. Would recommend ordering this if you visit. Pork Dumplings: 5/5 The star of the show, the dumplings. They were soft and just like the buns, they had the right amount of soup + meat which made for a delicious bite every time. My toddler even ate some and she's usually super picky about meat. Overall, I'd definitely recommend coming here for the other noodles, the dumplings, and buns. You can skip on the ramen. I would 100% come back here to dine in. Every dish we ordered, in exception of the Hot Oil Pork with Vegetable Wonton, was plentiful and delicious. I had a wonderful meal at Mr Dragon Noodle House. It's located in a plaza surrounded by other restaurants and stores, and there's plenty of parking spaces in the lot. The popcorn chicken is a must - the portion was huge and the mild flavor was top notch. The beef noodle soup was also solid. The shopping center parking lot was completely full, so we ended up parking on a nearby residential street and walking over. As soon as I walked in, a waiter handed me a menu along with an order slip to fill out while I waited for a table. That sure made the service feel less personal than I'd prefer. Every table was full, people were waiting near the entrance for seats, and the energy inside was loud and lively. These days, I'm more of a quiet-corner kind of diner. Unfortunately, I didn't find my usual quiet corner this time, but I managed to find a corner, and that was good enough. My dinner. Talk about huge portions! The fruit tea was massive, I shared it and still had a full cup to take home! And for the price it was really great deal. We got popcorn chicken, beef noodle soup, and the fujian vermicelli noodles. All of them were big portions as well. My partner introduced me to this spot and I was quite surprised by how busy it was on a afternoon weekend. We were seated immediately and orders were taken quickly which is a nice plus. There's plenty of tables inside that can seat all amounts of diners, although it does feel a bit cramped. Parking - Free in a outdoor lot, plentiful but fills up extremely quickly. Street parking is pretty much nonexistent here unless you park in nearby residential streets. Their menu is pretty extensive that ranges from baos, apps like popcorn chicken, to their signature noodles soups, ramen, rice noodles, and even shareable entrees. Service here is very quick. They seem to have tons of staff that walks in and out of the area, many of the staff when they're idle are facing towards the customer on standby, so they're pretty attentive. My partner and I both ordered a bowl of the House Special Beef Noodle Soup which is what their mainly known for. Order came out really quick and presentation is pretty standard. I loved the portions that they provide, 3-5 beef pieces, and they're HUGE, it's well cooked, and melts off easily with each bite. Noodles are delicious as well and it's mixed with a broth that's not too salty. 10/10, would recommend. We also ordered a beef roll to share, was tasty but it wasn't anything special. It's quite similar to din tai fung, but still can't beat the taste of the chili wontons and the choco XLB from din tai fung. We ordered the beef wrap, house special beef noodle, and the black pepper beef fried udon. All of their food is amazing. I really enjoyed the beef wrap the most because their wrap is so crunchy! After circling the parking lot a few times, we ended up having to park in the residential area and walked over. It's honestly impressive to watch -- efficient, organized, and nonstop. The XLB here definitely competes with Din Tai Fung. Juicy, flavorful, and perfectly wrapped -- they hold their own without question. Everything else we've tried has been just as solid, coming out hot, fresh, and packed with flavor. It was BUSY on a Saturday night. I got on the Yelp waitlist before heading out and it was about an hour wait and inside it was so chaotic. There was a huge crowd outside by the time we got there around 630pm. The lot is pretty crowded cuz there's also several other restaurants in this strip. They give you an ordering sheet and menu while you're waiting so it was very efficient by the time you get it. But you don't get a chance to make any changes once you submit it cuz the workers are so busy running around clearing tables and delivering the orders. We ordered the house beef noodle soup, spicy beef noodle soup with flat rice noodle (fun), potstickers and stir fried rice cakes. They gave the wrong noodle and instead of fun we got the thin rice noodle. But it was too hectic to even try to get that corrected. My bf was not a fan. He didn't think the broth was flavorful enough and didn't care for the potstickers either. I thought the rice cakes were good but you can get that at a lot of different spots. What they're known for which is the Taiwanese beef noodle soup was just ok. The beef was super tender but the broth definitely lacked salt and flavor, it tasted pretty bland. First impression, the popcorn chicken app was massive and overflowing with crispy chicken. For $10 it was worth it. The Tomato Beef Ramen was outstanding. Flavorful broth and tender beef. A wonderful soup to get on a cold night. The XLBs were bulky. For me, the taste was fine. The dough a bit chewy. However, for the size and portion you'll be satisfied either way. Only one negative, if the restaurant is busy, as one waits outside, you are giving a menu and slip to place your food, so when you sit, your order is already already and your food comes out faster, I understand this helps turn tables and food service is faster but it doesn't give you the feeling of sitting down and looking and a menu, taking your time to place an order. I like the inner decoration, decent and classic, the environment is quite organized and clean. The wait time was about 15 minutes, not too bad. The popcorn chicken smelled too good so we finished 1/2 of them on the way home, chicken was tender and juicy; other dishes were also very tasty and impressive, ingredients were fresh and nicely cooked. Our family really appreciated the food. Will recommend this to my family friends for sure. read more
