I've been here a few times and would say the food is pretty good. I don't think there is anything super special, but the food overall was good. The service was also very good and accommodating, especially since I came in with a party of 8. Here are my thoughts on the food: Spicy Beef Tripe - I actually really enjoyed this one. It was cold and had good flavors. (4/5) Shrimp Fried Rice - It was simple, but it was good. Nothing over the top, just a simple classic. (4/5) Pan Fried Dumpling - It was delicious, had good flavors, and was juicy. (4.5/5) Beef Udon - Another simple dish, but it was good. Nothing overly done, just a nice carb to have. (4/5) Beef Roll - Best thing they have for sure. Nice flavors and made perfectly. (5/5) Pan Fried Bao - Pretty good. It had juice inside, and the meat was tasty. (4.5/5) Popcorn Chicken - We got this one mild, and they basically didn't put any spice on it. TBH, it lacked flavor, and besides being pretty crispy, it definitely needed some spice. (3/5) Beef Noodle Soup - It was good and pretty traditional. (4/5) Overall, most of the food was good but not spectacular IMO. It's a solid place to eat if you're looking for pretty good food, and the price isn't too bad! Parking - Now this stings because this lot SUCKS. If you come during peak hours, just pray because it's a very popular lot with plenty of good restaurants, so it gets crowded. I ended up exiting and driving south to the first local street, where you can park and walk over.

I recently came back here again for a quick Sunday dinner and here are some of the key highlights: * Parking was easy this time as I was able to find an available spot in the parking lot immediately. * I was able to check in 5 minutes ahead of time via Yelp and only waited 5 more minutes in person before receiving a text that our table was ready on Sunday at 7:30 PM. * One of the most efficient services for Chinese restaurants in the SGV (San Gabriel Valley) area as the staff wasted no time serving food, refilling water, and responding to a check request. * Ordered slightly different dishes this time and C1 Xiao Long Bao (juicy pork dumplings 8 pieces -$13.00) and C5 Beef Roll (6 pieces - $16.00) were A-tier dishes. Xiao Long Bao's flavor profile tasted more like steamed dumplings. Beef roll didn't taste as good as I remembered (probably because it had slightly less hoisin sauce), but it was still a good beef roll nonetheless. * Personally G4 Black Pepper Beef Fried Udon ($15.99) was a surprising discovery and an S-tier dish. Basically think of it as beef chow fun, but replace flat noodles with udon and add egg and bell pepper - excellent flavor profile. C3 Pan Fried Pork Bao (6 pieces - $13.00) were comparable to the ones from Kang Kang Food Court. 4.5 stars for the food with 4 items enough to feed 3 to 4 adults. I would say their noodle dishes like Beef Noodle Soup / Black Pepper Beef Fried Udon / Fujian Style Fried Vermicelli are slightly better than their dumpling dishes. Bump it up to 5-star for the excellent service. P.S. - There's another new location in Diamond Bar.
8/29/2026: Wow! Second visit almost exactly 1 year later, and this place still doesn't disappoint! We pulled in to the parking lot around 8pm on a Saturday night, and the very ample parking lot was packed to the gills. There are several restaurants in the lot, but Mr. Dragon Noodle House seemed to be the busiest with several groups of people waiting outside for a table. I called and was told they're open until 9pm, but if you arrive before 8:40pm they will still seat you and you can order and dine. He quoted a 10-20 minute wait which didn't seem possible, but we took a chance and placed our name on the waitlist. I love the tablets that most restaurants in SGV use. It's so efficient! The host handed us a laminated menu and an order form after we checked in so we could figure out what we wanted even before we sat down. They get high marks for efficiency! Within 10 minutes, we were called to our waiting table. They are a well oiled machine! As soon as a party leaves, a team of 3 smiling staff converge on the table to clear the dishes, clean the table and re-set for the next patrons. We ordered our drinks and a Popcorn Chicken appetizer. Hubby says this is the best popcorn chicken he's had to date, and he's a bit of a snob! No dipping sauces needed. He ordered "No Spicy" and they brought chili powder on the side. They fried what I believe was fresh basil with the chicken and it was so tasty, I would request extra next time! It's well seasoned and crispy. The portion is easily generous enough to share with 4 or more people. Their 0% Sugar Green Tea is served icy cold in a huge beer stein, and is so refreshing! A perfect accompaniment to the meal. It comes in many flavors as well but I didn't want anything sweet. We shared an order of their Hot Oil Shrimp, Pork & Cabbage wontons in a bowl. Delicious, but if you're not a heat seeker don't forget to request it "mild". Now for what I considered the star of the table, their House Special Beef Noodle Soup. This is a dish that I love and am always looking for the best bowl.. and Mr Dragon is high up there. Don't come at me, but we had heard the hype about Corner Beef Noodle House and tried theirs last year. In an evening without a crowd we were virtually ignored when we walked in and I had to accost someone to seat us. The soup wasn't nearly as good as Mr Dragon, and their service couldn't compare. I'll have to give them one more chance. There was no room for improvement at Mr Dragon Noodle House. Beefy broth, tender chunks of beef and perfectly bouncy noodles. Yum!
This is one of my favorite places in the 626. When you arrive you will be given a sheet to fill out regarding what you'd like to order. Once you're about to sit down, the server will take your sheet so the kitchen can prepare your order. Once you sit down, the food is brought over to you within minutes. The restaurant is clean and feels like you're inside someone's kitchen. I have never had a bad meal here and I love everything I have tried. Must get: noodle soup

I had a wonderful meal at Mr Dragon Noodle House. It's located in a plaza surrounded by other restaurants and stores, and there's plenty of parking spaces in the lot. The popcorn chicken is a must - the portion was huge and the mild flavor was top notch. The beef noodle soup was also solid. It came with a generous amount of noodles and big chunks of flavorful beef. Lastly, the regular soup dumplings pass exceptionally well with the ginger, vinegar, soy sauce condiment. Service was quick, friendly, and attentive. Atmosphere inside was hip and vibey. Overall, this is a great restaurant and I'd highly recommend others to try their dishes.
Yum, got the popular braised beef and tendon noodle soup at medium spicy to-go and it was delicious. Spicy but not too spicy, beef was tender af and tendon was yummm. Would order again for sure and also try other stuff there. Inside seating looked chill, servers were helpful, will come back to dine in next time I'm in the area.
My husband and I were in the area and decided to give this place a try. It was packed! The shopping center parking lot was completely full, so we ended up parking on a nearby residential street and walking over. We ordered the Sichuan-style beef noodle soup, pork and leek pan-fried dumplings, pan-fried pork bao, and the beef roll. Everything came out quickly and was really tasty. The place has a cozy, trendy vibe, and while it's a little pricey, we left happy and felt it was worth the wait. We'd definitely come back if we're in the area again.
It was my first time visiting and I was not disappointed! We ordered the beef noodle soup, xiao long bao, and black pepper beef udon. My favorite was definitely the black pepper beef udon! It was flavored really nicely and the udon was a good consistency. The beef noodle soup was also very delicious and it would be perfect on a cold day. I do wish the XLB was a little softer and warmer. We beat the rush and were seated quickly. We also got our food fast as well. This plaza does get busy but parking is not too bad.
Came here yesterday with my daughter for a little mother/daughter lunch run and everything was absolutely delicious!! We may have ordered too much food, but everything online looked amazing and we couldn't hold back on trying new things. Service was 10/10 we were seated very fast, food was brought out fresh and hot! Thank you for such an amazing first time experience, we will be back :)
Just wow! The spicy braised beef noodle soup was sooooooo good! It was pretty early so I was even debating ordering something so heavy, but wow I'm glad I did! They have huge portions and the spice level is perfect. The meat was falling apart and I was easily able to use my chopsticks to break it apart. The service was good, they were in there to get food out, not chit chat and socialize. They weren't rude at all just not a hospitality staff lolll. Cute place too? they had a good amount of seating and got the food out quick. The potstickers were just okay for me though, I felt like it lacked flavor except for in the one bite you got the juicy broth too. Just needed more salt but the texture and bite with salt were great.
Let's start with the service, it's quick and efficient. Tables move fairly quickly. Takes minimal time to get drinks and dishes out to tables. The food is priced great and quality is high. Can get a lil noisy but it's a vibe ;) parking can be a shit show, but cars move in and out regularly. Definitely keep coming back for the food.

Best dim sum place I've been to in CA so far (I wish it wasn't so far because I would go all the time otherwise). Very reasonable price, super cozy atmosphere, and all the good was so delicious. Obsessed with the beef rolls and all the dumplings were so delicious! I don't even like baos too much but they had a great ratio of meat and skin and soup. We got 5 dishes for 4 people (~$22) per person which I feel like is a great deal and I was so full afterwards. read more

Pros: This little Place is Legitimate Local crowd, Big portions. Good prices. Japanese Spicy Ramen was Very good- HUGE BOWL! Cons: No Alcohol Service was fast for My 1st time here. So Many Choices. We went to Mr. Dragon Noodle House for dinner and we ordered: - the beef noodle soup (e2) - the pan-fried buns - the dan dan noodles - the rice cake Overall, it was a really solid meal, and we were happy that we went, but we didn't love the pan-fried buns or the dan dan noodles. The beef noodle soup was absolutely the highlight! I honestly wish we ordered three of these. We will absolutely be coming back. The service was really good. They had folks sweeping and cleaning the entire time, and whenever we needed somebody to help, they immediately came over. We also had a lot of questions about the menu, and they were super helpful there too. read more
My partner introduced me to this spot and I was quite surprised by how busy it was on a afternoon weekend. We were seated immediately and orders were taken quickly which is a nice plus. There's plenty of tables inside that can seat all amounts of diners, although it does feel a bit cramped. Parking - Free in a outdoor lot, plentiful but fills up extremely quickly. Street parking is pretty much nonexistent here unless you park in nearby residential streets. Their menu is pretty extensive that ranges from baos, apps like popcorn chicken, to their signature noodles soups, ramen, rice noodles, and even shareable entrees. Service here is very quick. They seem to have tons of staff that walks in and out of the area, many of the staff when they're idle are facing towards the customer on standby, so they're pretty attentive. My partner and I both ordered a bowl of the House Special Beef Noodle Soup which is what their mainly known for. Order came out really quick and presentation is pretty standard. I loved the portions that they provide, 3-5 beef pieces, and they're HUGE, it's well cooked, and melts off easily with each bite. Noodles are delicious as well and it's mixed with a broth that's not too salty. 10/10, would recommend. We also ordered a beef roll to share, was tasty but it wasn't anything special. It's a savory dish and it's very much a shareable one. 7/10 A decent noodle restaurant in SGV, can be a bit congested both inside and with parking, but decent quality food makes up for it. read more
Talk about huge portions! The fruit tea was massive, I shared it and still had a full cup to take home! And for the price it was really great deal. We got popcorn chicken, beef noodle soup, and the fujian vermicelli noodles. All of them were big portions as well. I really enjoyed the popcorn chicken and the beef noodle soup, the vermicelli noodles could've been more flavorful but had a ton of seafood, also wish the shrimp was peeled like the other dishes w shrimps. But overall really great spot, food comes out fast and the service was good. Parking is kinda tight. :D read more
I really wanted to love this spot especially after reading reviews and watching TikToks but my meal was just okay. Maybe I just ordered the wrong items? I was sad I couldn't enjoy their dumplings since I don't eat red meats and it seems to be what people rave about. The chicken was good and probably my favorite item but I've had better. Noodle dishes were fine but again, nothing special for me personally. Service was fast so no complaints there! Be prepared to look for parking during peak hours. read more
Not bad, not bad!! Truly was a surprise tbh. We were in the SGV area so wanted to eat something tasty and found this on Yelp. A great find indeed! Couldn't find the spot at first in the plaza but it is located near a McDonald's. Looked big from outside but was a decent size inside with a good amount of tables and seating space. Service was really fast, got seated quick and they were fast to take our orders which was crazy at first but they were on it with service so I appreciated that. Even the food came out pretty fast. Saw that the Beef Noodle Soup was good so I had to try it, the beef broth was delicious and I love bok choy so they had me at bok choy! Beef was nicely cooked too, I liked it! Dan Dan noodles were okay and it felt like it was spicy peanut butter but still good, just not my favorite. But the pork dumplings (xiao long bao) was YUMMY. It really hit the spot when we grabbed one each and the warmth and taste was delicious. Definitely my favorite! Pork and crab dumplings were good too! I was just too full at that point to have more of it all. I'd say this place satisfied my hunger and I left there super full so I'll comeback again :) read more
Decent price and fast service. Decor on the wall also added a nice touch to the ambiance. It's quite similar to din tai fung, but still can't beat the taste of the chili wontons and the choco XLB from din tai fung. Averaging around $10-$15 for all the dishes pictured, which isn't too bad for the quantity given. I really liked their popcorn chicken, crab with pork xiao long bao, and the pork potstickers! Overall, it's a great restaurant to share appetizers and entrees with family. We ended up taking our leftovers home for dinner, and all the food still tasted great! I do wish they had a dessert menu, which would top off the meal. read more

We were long overdue for a visit. Came here to grab lunch since we were in the area. Each dish we ordered was shareable. We enjoyed everything, as usual. The Xiao Long Bao was absolutely delicious. Tip: make sure to eat these right away. It's better when the soup is hot; rather than letting it sit and cool off. My favorite dish is the Dan Dan Noodles. I love their version because its peanut sauce is creamy and makes the dish more tastier. It could use a bit more pork. I still enjoyed this dish though! read more
Was craving beef noodle soup the other day so I decided to try it from here. Called in my order and picked it up within about 20 minutes which was nice and easy. I ordered the house special beef noodle soup, which they're known for. The portion size is solid with a lot of noodles, plus bok choy, tender beef, and tendons. The broth is on the lighter side, which some people might like, but for me it felt like it was missing a bit of depth. One thing I didn't like is they don't include pickled vegetables. I feel like that should be standard with beef noodle soup, even just a small portion helps bring everything together. Instead they charge extra for it, which was kind of a letdown. Very nice chinese restaurant at rosemad area. It seems pretty well known restaurant as it was very busy when we arrived. We were not purposely looking for this but found it when we search for restaurant near by. The restaurant is not that large but has plenty tables. The interior was simple There are plenty item on the menu and we ordered Spicy premium beef noodle soup, Tan Tan noodle, popcorn chicken, Xiao Long Bao and ice lemon tea. The order was prepared quickly and the food was ready pretty quick. All the food are yummy. The spicy noodle soup was spicy but not was yummy. Popcorn chicken was good along with Tan Tan noodle and XLB. The one that surprise me is the size of the ice lemon tea glass. it is the largest portion of ice lemon tea that I have seen at restaurants. Price is reasonable and we left with some left over. The staff and service was good and the staff was friendly. Parking could be a challenge at this area. read more

Extremely good. I love spicy food, and the pork chili oil wontons in the picture were very very spicy. Lots of flavor as well. Popcorn chicken stayed crispy somehow throughout the car ride home. Good ambiance and fast service, but amazing food. read more
Missing this place already The service here is quick and the food is amazing. The dan dan noodles were sooo saucy and the peanut/spicy sauce was just perfection. I would love if they added extra green onions (maybe i can ask next time haha) The popcorn chicken was also such a great shareable item. They give a pretty big portion and the dish is very reminiscent of older boba shop's popcorn chicken. The spicy wontons had a nice kick and great flavor. First time here with a group on a Saturday afternoon. Service was prompt but parking was sparse. Pork soup dumplings - Solid flavor and thin skin. I would definitely recommend. Crab/pork soup dumplings: I still prefer the pork version but same good quality as above Beef rolls - Good portion of meat and balanced flavor with the outside very crispy for nice texture balance. Wish they had cucumber inside though. Popcorn chicken - ordered it with no spice but chili powder on the side. I enjoyed this very much! Light, crispy and flavorful. Bonus for coming with fried basil, which is harder to come by. Beef/tendon noodle soup - bouncy noodles and good tendon but the flavor was not rich. Spicy beef noodle soup (2 chilis on the menu) - Better than the one above but definitely sweat inducing. Pan fried bao: Decent option, but I prefer the ones at Shau May hands down. read more

Got here on a Sunday morning right around opening time. I thought there would be a wait but it was pretty empty until maybe an hour later when we left. Parking is pretty limited in this plaza and I ended up parking behind the restaurant then walking around. Overall solid food though and I thought the prices were very fair also Shrimp fried rice cake: 4/5 good but I didn't love it. This place always exceeds my expectations! Food; The food was incredible. Everything came out fresh, hot, and packed with flavor. The dumplings were juicy and perfectly wrapped, the crispy chicken had the best crunch, and the noodles were super satisfying with just the right balance of sauce and toppings. Service: The service was just as great. Staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without hovering. Food came out quickly. Parking: Parking was also a big plus: FREE LOT. It's just pretty busy a lot of the time. Overall: It is such a solid spot for a delicious meal. This is my go to spot for most weekends! Parking can be quite difficult to find. There's parking lot is shared with many other restaurants. Came on a weekend lunch time. The wait wasn't too bad, about 10 minutes. Came to celebrate a birthday. The staff saw that we brought cake and asked if we're celebrating a birthday. After ordering, they brought us a musical toy and an ice drink. We ordered the Mild Popcorn Chicken for $10, Dan Dan Mein for $13, Beef Roll for $16, and Pan Fried Pork Bao for $13 or $14 (forgot the price). The Popcorn was too spicy for mild, but crispy and delicious. The Dan Dan Mein had a lot of sauce and peanut butter taste. The Beef Roll was too sweet. The Pan Fried Pork Bao was good. While the birthday toy and drink were really thoughtful, we really did not them rushing us to leave after an hour even though there were empty tables and no one waiting. read more
Mr Dragon Noodle House is this small little local place in SGV that is busy, affordable and have amazing flavorful food. We ordered the beef wrap, house special beef noodle, and the black pepper beef fried udon. All of their food is amazing. I really enjoyed the beef wrap the most because their wrap is so crunchy! But all of the food we ordered was so good. I heard they are also known for their popcorn chicken and their tea drinks. We did order a mango green tea and it came in a really big cup and it was so refreshing. Will for sure come back for more and try the popcorn chicken and dimsum next time. read more
We stumbled upon this restaurant while in the area and were pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. We got the pan fried pork bao, spicy beef noodle soup, shrimp with pork and leek dumplings, pork and shrimp xiao long bao with crab, and popcorn chicken. Every dish was yummy, but my favorite was the pan fried pork bao! There were crispy on the bottom and soft on the top with delicious pork filling that was perfectly seasoned for my taste. The only down side was the wait. Since we got there during the dinner rush on the weekend, it was very crowded. After circling the parking lot a few times, we ended up having to park in the residential area and walked over. Though it was very chaotic, the host managed to keep the line moving and we were seated as promised. Inside the restaurant was very lively, typical of a Chinese restaurant vibe. read more

Mr. Dragon's Noodle House is easily one of my favorite restaurants in the SGV. If you know, you know. This place stays busy -- and for good reason. Yes, there's usually a line, especially during peak hours. But don't let that scare you. The line moves fast because the staff operates like a NASCAR pit crew the way they turn over tables. It's honestly impressive to watch -- efficient, organized, and nonstop. The XLB here definitely competes with Din Tai Fung. Juicy, flavorful, and perfectly wrapped -- they hold their own without question. Everything else we've tried has been just as solid, coming out hot, fresh, and packed with flavor. Consistency is a big reason we keep coming back. If you're in the SGV and craving legit food, this spot should absolutely be on your list. read more

It was BUSY on a Saturday night. I got on the Yelp waitlist before heading out and it was about an hour wait and inside it was so chaotic. There was a huge crowd outside by the time we got there around 630pm. The lot is pretty crowded cuz there's also several other restaurants in this strip. They give you an ordering sheet and menu while you're waiting so it was very efficient by the time you get it. But you don't get a chance to make any changes once you submit it cuz the workers are so busy running around clearing tables and delivering the orders. We ordered the house beef noodle soup, spicy beef noodle soup with flat rice noodle (fun), potstickers and stir fried rice cakes. They gave the wrong noodle and instead of fun we got the thin rice noodle. But it was too hectic to even try to get that corrected. My bf was not a fan. He didn't think the broth was flavorful enough and didn't care for the potstickers either. I thought the rice cakes were good but you can get that at a lot of different spots. What they're known for which is the Taiwanese beef noodle soup was just ok. The beef was super tender but the broth definitely lacked salt and flavor, it tasted pretty bland. For that wait and rushed service, I don't think we'll be back considering the food was just meh. read more
