They had seamlessly loaded the contents of my 650 square foot apartment including large/heavy fragile furniture with glass (8 foot tall dresser with mirror weighing 250 lbs, and 50 galloon reptile tank) in about 1 hour. We promptly left via car to meet them at our new address in Philly, and they arrived at exactly the same time as we did. They unloaded the truck in about an hour again, and helped partially unpack and put items in the proper places, especially the furniture that would have been hard for me to move on my own later. I will continue to use Piece of Cake, and have recommended to several friends over the years that I have been using them. It was quick working with the customer support team initially to quote the move, make payment, and on COIs and confirmation. When we move again in a couple years Piece of Cake will be the only mover I call. My recommendation to others considering the service, be transparent and honest about the contents of your move, especially items requiring extra protection even if there is an additional fee involved. There were no surprise add-ons in my move because we carefully selected every single item that would be included in our move early on in the process, and made sure to reply in detail to the follow up emails regarding insurance, access to the apartments (stairs vs elevator, reserved elevator, etc.), and so on move-in day everything went off without a hitch. We have moved multiple times in east cost always use the same mover from NY. This time thought of trying a NJ based mover. Here are the issues 1.Lack of professional behavior. They came inside saw that entryway table had a few bills picked them up asked me which currency it is. 2. One of the kitchen packers opens lid of my spice box (I had leaves and chillies puts his nose in sniffs and asks what is it? 3. Packed every little thing in white wrapper so unpacking was hell. Single stainless steel spoon wrapped in 4 layers of packing . 4. Who does this .packing open can of bleach with groceries. While unpacking I saw white dust thought its paint once I hit end of box it was bleach so ended up throwing everything from that box. Which professional mover does that 5. Random packing. I had very organized closet but they picked random items and packed in diff boxes so i had box with sweaters pillow covers photo frames and belts all from diff parts of closet. LASTLY we were given pricing we paid that by bill and paid $800 extra over that without receipt as they demanded that they packed box. When vector gave me a quote it included 10 medium boxes $20 per box but the guys packed everything with white wrapper in kitten not one but 4 sheets and increased boxes packed to 30 , unethically charging us for small boxes stuffed with white paper. Please note it was a very painful experience and no one deserves this kind of billing or nonsense

It usually takes me over half a week to pack and be stressed for over a week, but Diego and his 3 teammates packed up our studio in 2-3 hours. They're so professional. They moved so quickly with care and accuracy. Most importantly, all my kitchen appliances were wrapped with care and delivered and arrived to my new apartment in the same condition.
