The winterization airlock failed, allowing water to crack drain pipes. Company does not 'find leaks' so I had to and discovered and replaced the pipe. Several visits to the bottom of a swamp to cover the drains i was able to add a stop valve and then $1500 of water. On opening the pool the valve started to leak and i had to replug the drains...they are unable to rescehdule a technician despite noting (and charging $313) Leslies to return to repair main drain on the invoice ...can i give zro stars ? read more

I had a four year old Polaris P40 pool cleaner that would only clean the deep end of my pool. After numerous attempts to get it fixed, purchasing various parts and trying to call Polaris directly I was not able to get it to work until I took it to the Leslie's Pool in Norwalk. Within 5 minutes of walking into the store Matt the manager had the cleaner apart and knew exactly what was wrong with it. He ordered the part and within days my cleaner was back in my pool working. I also had my water tested there and purchased some supplies. His entire team was very knowledgeable and extremely courteous . They didn't try to sell me things that I didn't need. Leslie's is my go to for spa water analysis and chemicals. Water chemistry can be a real science project with when, what and how much to use. I bring a sample of my spa water to the store, they test and analyze it on the spot, and they give me written instructions for treating the water back to optimum. Of course they have everything I need in stock. Great service! read more

Manager Jennifer is hands down fantastic and superior in every way possible. Can not recommend highly enough! Leslie's does openings and closings too at a fraction of what the typical Fairfield County rip off artists charge. Wish I had known that sooner than 10 years of cycling thru various local companies and pot head pool guys. Some of the WORST service I've ever received! Set AND prepaid for a service appointment for one of my real estate clients that had closed on a home with a pool, a week and a half before hand. Later someone from the company told my client that they do NOT offer the service that was prepaid for, and that I could go back into the office for a full refund!....this IS a poor service company. Correct?!?! Save your money AND time, and call a different company. read more

Bad management, super disorganized. Every time you call in for a service you get a different person who quotes a different price and tells you the last person was wrong. It's surreal. Go to a better place that has their act together. read more

When it comes to pools, there is NO better place than Leslie's of Norwalk! As an operator of 3 commercial salt water pools, I am at this location several times a month picking up various chemicals and other pool supplies and they truly are the best. The manager of the store, Jenn DeMayo, is extremely knowledgable and helpful. She's actually the area manager so her plate is more than full, but she ALWAYS listens and answers any questions you may have. She is patient and thorough and explains things so they are easily understood and concise. The employees follow Jenn's lead and are very helpful and friendly. One star because zero is not possible. I walked in this morning, the only customer at 9:05 am, surrounded by 6 employees , having a good time. Having issues with my pool and quite frustrated, I started to describe my problem to all four people behind the counter. No eye contact from anyone, I didn't know who exactly if anyone, I was talking to. After I finished, they looked at each other and giggled. Wow. Tried the Leslie Pool service to close pool. Much cheaper price than the regular guy I use. It's been 2 weeks since closing. 2 straps either came loose so I called. After talking to a service rep who put me on hold for long time she came back wanting $125 to come back. She transfers me to Service Manager's voice mail and his announcement is pretty much he'll get back to me when he's good and ready. He didn't call back. Beginning to look like I got what I paid for, a cheap rip off service. read more
