Great hidden gem! We were strapped looking for a place and my husband found this gem of a MOTEL! We don't like staying at motels but this is such a sweet spot! Cute place, great tasting coffee inside for a pour over (from a local coffee place), everything was super clean. The pressure in the shower was perfection!

Great little place. Very nice feel and really clean. Almost feels like home vs a hotel. They take care of your ass here literally:) They got quality toilet paper and a bidet. If find myself in this town again I will stay here again. Hope this post helps some people find this cool little spot. Thanks, Eddie

Super cute, cozy and clean remodeled retro drive in motel with a comfy bed and all the little amenities and responsive friendly owner/staff. Love this place!

Three words: Vintage, Vintage, Vintage This motel is truly a gem! I love the vintage aspects of it all. The rooms are clean (no carpet (a plus for me)), well thought of and has everything you need. Drip coffee, ear plugs and a condom is available, talk about details. However, What really stole the show, OUR ROOM HAD A VINTAGE NINTENDO?! Do yourself a favor and book this one of a kind room! PS: they do have an RV park available however, cannot speak on that aspect.

We stayed here in room #5 on July 2. I thought this place was great. It felt like an Air BnB & a hotel at the same time. The room was clean & the grounds were very nice. There are ten rooms plus RV parking in the back. It was very quiet. The bathroom was a little small but the room was spacious enough to make getting ready work. We did specifically pick a larger room & paid a bit more for it. We would stay here again.

Great spot for a morning cup of coffee.

The check in was easy, our host attendant , gave us clear instructions to our airstream. We were a bit confused the first day and evening about how to contact someone after hours. I kept getting the bot when I went on to the website. Finally when I googled Bay Point Landing General store, I found that part of the site. From then on it was a breeze to getting help. The airstream was well stocked. Dishware, glasses, utensils, cookware and cooking utensils. Linens were clean, we even had lovely doggy baskets for our pups. Complete with towels, dishes, treats, leashes and sheets to cover bed and sofa. They have activities everyday to attend. We did the happy hour the first night, it was very nice sitting looking over the water and enjoying a glass or two of wine. I was grateful for the broom that was in the airstream, sweep out the RV multiple times a day. The airstream comes with dish rags and dishes towels, but no dish soap you can purchase that at the General store. This is not glamping, as some reviews seemed to think. But it is a step above RVing in a state park. There are nice amenities and can make as many improvements as you want, but they cost. We were happy with the close proximity to the state parks, restaurants and grocery stores. We look forward to our next stay at Bay Point Landing.

The "fitness room" was a total disappointment. Asked the gal at check-in if they had free-weights. "Oh yes"she exclaimed. Really? 3 dumbell sets (10 lbs heaviest!) and no bench. Only machines were a couple of treadmills and stationary bikes. Fitness room for octogenarians? The pool is saltwater, and not big enough to swim laps. Maybe 10x40ft with stairs at one end. No spa. For the price of admission, this is pathetic. We've stayed at much less expensive resorts with far better amenities. This place relies on the location, which is decent, but not exceptional. You are on the bay, not the ocean, no with ocean access from the resort. In sum, we won't be returning; as the cost wasn't matched with value.

It wasn't as big as I expected, but they had all of the slot machines I enjoy playing, so I was happy with the selection. I also appreciated how clean everything was. I constantly saw employees wiping down the machines, and the ventilation system does a good job of keeping the casino from feeling overly smoky, even though smoking is allowed. On the downside, the non-smoking room still smelled like cigarette smoke, which was disappointing. The slot machines also seemed pretty tight during my visit. I wasn't impressed with the rewards program either. New members only receive $5 in free play after signing up for a player's card and spending $10 first, which seems a bit backwards. It would be nice if the free play was available immediately as a welcome incentive. Despite those drawbacks, the clean casino, great machine selection, and waterfront location made for an enjoyable visit.

That is definitely not a problem here, as the sites are at least 80 feet long. Having said that, Robbins Nest is not a resort, but a relatively quiet, comfortable, and safe place to stay while you're exploring Bandon. Bandon is my wife's hometown, so we are very familiar with the area, and we come back to visit every summer. I can honestly say Robbins Nest is the best big rig friendly park within 30 miles in any direction. The park is only a few minutes from Old Town Bandon, just off Highway 101, but not so close that road noise is a problem. There's plenty of room to extend slide-outs and awnings, unlike some of the other parks nearby. The electric pedestal provides a rock-steady 120 volts, water pressure is adequate, and the sewer hookup and fresh water spigot are about 15 feet apart, an important sanitary consideration. The free WiFi boasts some of the fastest speeds we've seen in our 5 years of full-timing. There are excellent photos of the park and local attractions on their website, and a very cool hi-def video showing a fly-over view of the park. The owners, Joy and Dondi are friendly and helpful, and strive to keep the park clean and well maintained. An online search will show numerous 4- and 5-star reviews, except one left recently (July 2020) by a disgruntled guest who complained about being evicted for violating the park's posted speed limit. Do not judge this park based solely on his angry testimony. It's true that upon check-in, Joy makes it a point to ask you to drive slowly in the park, but that's because she's concerned for the safety of the guests. She certainly doesn't stand on the road with a radar gun like that one sad individual seems to imply. Surely, there's more to his story than he's willing to admit. Bottom line, Robbins Nest is the best park in town. Come see for yourself.
