Limited base smoothies. I got a 24 ox B-Fresh. It was nice but a little too citric. So the bases are Apple or Orange juice or frozen yogurt base. Everything was clean, just the service had a little lack of friendly. The can i help you was sad and unhappy. Though i was second in line, delivery was pretty quick and over all the product was ok. I have had smoothie king before and though it was awhile ago i think i still liked it better than this place. Maybe if they had add ins like protein or other options it would be better. Ask the counter people to smile more. read more

Hidden gem for fast grab and go dining in terminal 3 at Ohare! Not only do you get a decent sized salad for $10 (you can add chicken or quinoa for a small upcharge), but they also give you free small cup of water (unheard of at the airport!). After almost a week of work travel and eating my way through Austin, Toronto and a weekend in Chicago, I was ready to fuel my body with some healthier options. I had a 2pm flight and hadn't eaten lunch when I arrived to Ohare, and while I wasn't hungry, I knew that I would be within the next few hours of travel back home to Phoenix. So... B Smooth to the rescue! I ordered a customized salad with grilled chicken for approximately $10. I did not have high expectations as it's airport food after all, but it was totally fine. Friendly enough staff, clean looking salad bar to choose from, and decent sized salad. My salad consisted of mixed greens, tomato, cucumber, garbanzo beans, edamame, egg and chicken. I asked for their honey mustard on the side. It was not the best salad ever, but it did the job... fueled me with something on the healthier side during my flight home. Tiny but mighty little booth in the airport food court. I ordered a small B-Free smoothie and had a salad with the romaine (not mixed greens IMO), spinach, cucumber, green onions, kalamata olives, broccoli and garbanzo beans with the Honey Mustard dressing. The salad and smoothie were the best I've had in a LONG time. Better than Jamba Juice! Staff is kind, efficient and communicates well in a busy environment. The only reasons why it didn't get the extra star was because they were out of peaches, feta cheese, and didn't display what items were gluten free options (I originally ordered the sesame ginger dressing but had to switch when I noticed it was soy sauce/gluten based). Thank you for being such a delicious healthy food option at the court. I wish I would have gone with the larger smoothie size! read more

DO NOT BUY SMOOTHIES HERE. I thought I'd go for something healthier so I picked dairy-free low fat strawberry/blueberry smoothie. But NO. It's false advertising. It's the absolute opposite of "healthy". It is diabetes in a cup. It tastes 90% sugar and 10% fruits. Overpriced. And Oversweetened. DO NOT BUY IT unless you want an instant diabetes. I know I said it before, but I'll have to repeat one more time. Please do your health and tastebuds a big favor: NEVER BUY "SMOOTHIES" here. The service is bad too. read more

I stopped and got a quick lunch after I landed recently. I'd never tried their food before because there are so many options at the airport. But right now, many are closed. It was B Smooth's time to shine. I ordered a salad with almost all the toppings (no meat). It was AMAZING!!! Tasted great and so fresh. This will be my new go to whenever I am in ORD! Especially with my beloved salad buffet place now gone, we need healthy fast casual stuff more than ever. read more

I usually try to look for healthier alternatives when I'm traveling and saw B Smooth. Service was a solid meh. It took longer than it should've and the workers didn't seem to care much. My smoothie had a very frozen berry taste to it and was only okay. I made myself drink enough of it to feel okay about having paid for it and then dumped the rest. I don't think I'll be back here. read more

B Smooth is located on the side of a busy food court in Terminal 3 but even though it was crowded, I paid and received my salad in less than 10 minutes. I paid $9 for a heaping salad with fresh greens and as many toppings as I chose, which I think is very reasonable for an airport. I always appreciate a healthy option so I'll stop here again on my next layover! read more

Well, I got to say.. Why can you only get Soy Milk smoothies in 16 ounce when the other smoothies you can get 16 or 24, I asked for 24.. The worker said we don't do those in 24 and in a real snotty attitude.. I thought it was a bit rude and really didn't make any sense but oh well. I was glad I got to deal with his co-worker when actually paying for my smoothie.. I got a Banana Strawberry with Soy Milk.. Maybe it was a blessing in disguise that it was only 16 ounce.. Cause it really was my least favorite smoothie of all time! And I have had a bunch! Oh well. Next time I'm at O'hare, I will not go there! read more

I frequently travel, so finding a healthy alternative to travel food is always a plus. When I saw B Smooth's sign, promoting Smoothies & Salads I decided I would give them a try. I expected their salad selection to be similar to Salad Works- it wasn't. While they did have a variety of options, they were all pretty basic; peas, tomatoes, feta cheese, red peppers, bacon, etc. There were no nuts, only one cheese selection, and no fruit. The lettuce wasn't the freshest, but then again neither was anything they offered. Chicken can be added for an extra fee- I would suggest skipping this, it comes out of a bag and again, isn't fresh. The order process was confusing- you pay first, then get in a second line to select your toppings. The staff was efficient, but not friendly. They were there to do a job, and that's about it. B Smooth is an alternative to your typical airport food, but has a lot of room for improvement. read more

Chicago airport. When you think of airport food you probably think stupid expensive and fried or permafrost stuff, right? Wellll, this place is different! Salads and smoothies I got a salad with chicken and all the fresh veggies piled on and a smoothie. Absolutely amazingly fresh except for the chicken that was in a bag...but it was tasty! Even using an airport scale (lowered expectations), B Smooth was a big disappointment. I was hoping to get a fat-free probiotic frozen yogurt smoothie but they were all out of yogurt. So I went ahead and tried a non-dairy low-fat ice cream (whatever the heck that is) smoothie. It was pretty watery. If you had a venn diagram it would be in that unfortunate area where smoothies, milkshakes, and water all meet - definitely not a place anything should be. read more

Probably the healthiest option in the airport. Great for cleansing out the system after your Chicago binge-fest of deep dish, Italian beef, hot dogs, and gallons of beer. Skip the chicken in your salad, though. Tough and not great. read more

If you are looking for a smoothie cure that has a solid taste and uses actual fruit, B Smooth is really surprisingly solid. Located in the Terminal 3 Food Court in a small stand scrunched in between several larger food locales, B Smooth offers a 'create your own' salad for around $7 I believe and several smoothie options including milk/soy options, protein/additional toppings and a variety of pre-set and customizable smoothie options. I had the Peach Strawberry Banana Smoothie option which was just the fruit and apple juice mixed together. Yes, it's simple but again, with actual fruit ingredients and a good balance of each fruit, the smoothie came out surprisingly good! Note, it has the usual 'airport surcharge' so do expect to pay for a little extra (about $5 for a 16 oz. smoothie and a $1 addition for each addition) but: a) I didn't see any better options around & b) More importantly, it tasted good and I was properly smoothied-up before my flight. It's not mind-blowing but very solid and something I'd be happy to come back to whenever I'm in Terminal 3. read more

Employee working the counter didn't even utter the word "hi". It was "salad?" "Chicken?" Etc. Didn't make eye contact or smile. Ok, sure, places have bad employees but the salad was awful as well. Ate half before I couldn't stand it anymore. Wouldn't even consider trying a smoothie based off their salads. Wouldn't recommend on any level. read more

The smoothie was chunky. I had to chew the fruit. Far too expensive for the product and service. The girl in front of me asked for a yogurt base and didn't get one. Her and I got the same thing and I'm guessing her smoothie was as awful as mine. The flavor is good, the lady just didn't blend the fruit well or have a smooth consistency. The blend was watery and chunky. All I wanted was a good smoothie before I got on a plane home. read more

Okay, so I'm only writing this review in the hopes that the manager will see it.. But if he (or she) is anything like his employees, he won't care anyways. I chose to eat here only because I'm on the Paleo diet and it offered the best options tailored to my diet. Once I got here, though, the customer service made me lose my appetite. I seriously would have rather eaten a large Chicago style pizza than go back. The employees were hateful and rude for no reason. I ordered a salad and paid, but then had to wait 10 minutes before anyone bothered make the salad. The employees were too busy socializing (right in front of their customers) to actually do any work. Don't get me wrong, I get that this is in an airport and its "grab-and-go" style doesn't really depend on customer service. However, the employees should, at a minimum, do their job when a customer approaches to place an order instead of ignoring them and making them wait for no reason other than to carry on their own gossip. read more

Need to get your five fruits and vegees today? This place has fantastic smoothies, and you can get them dairy free (my preference, though I love my dairy products). I prefer them to Jamba Juice (though B-Smooth doesn't have mangos...). My favorite is the B-Free: strawberries, blueberries and bananas (I can't remember what the juice base is--I think pineapple. I stop by here before a flight, and I often grab one for the cab ride home, even if I have to schlep to the H & K gates from the G gates. (I'm not good at getting my five--I'm trying hard, though, Mom!) The staff is usually unfriendly, and they often finish their conversations with each other before acknowledging you, but they make the smoothies quickly. The smoothies are good enough (and rare enough in airports) not to dock a star. I can't that believe that no one has reviewed this place before. read more

Good customer service means helping customers when a recommendation doesn't work out, especially when it involves children. We felt the business was more concerned about making the sale than ensuring customer satisfaction. Sadly, we won't be returning.

To me, that's the real value with Café Zoot: from the time you enter the line until exit, it is far quicker than any of the chain spots. If you are after a sandwich, then they will make up any of a handful of fresh sandwiches, at surprisingly reasonable prices, and have you out of the line quickly. The service really turns you through the line (well, maybe something specialty might have you waiting) and my experiences have been a quick transaction. It is an airport, so you're either coming or going, and often times in a hurry. Café Zoot is a great option if you're in the C Concourse and need something in a hurry.

Usually when I wait that long for something I get extra harsh on critique like my god you better be worth the wait.... And unfortunately this place WAS actually that good where I couldn't even be mad. Filipino breakfast combo ($20)-- has both longanisa sausage and tocino, suuuuper savory and goes great with their garlic rice and sunny side up egg. It's one of those things that's just so simple but so soooo good when done right. Pork belly adobo ($20)-- weekends only! braised pork belly with garlic rice and sunny side up egg. This is similar to a Taiwanese Lu rou fan. It was slightly sweet with the savory. It gets kind of fatty/greasy after a while but once you add some chili and vinegar from the basket it's all good !!! Longanisa breakfast sandwich ($12)-- didn't add the hash brown but that was an option! Soft bread, fluffy egg, cheese and longanisa... again so simple but sooooo good! The Longanisa in this was like a meat patty vs the sausage in the breakfast plate. Same name but different enough I promise! Didn't feel like I got a duplicate or anything like the textures are different! For pastries... forgot the price-- Salmon danish: Weekend only! Wish we got more!! It was perfectly light and savory. Doesn't have that strong fishy smell and the flavor was so good. Smoked salmon, cream cheese, fish roe... how could it not be good!! Cheesecake: SOOOOOOO GOOD!!! Again, should've ordered more!! Not all cheesecakes are created equal but THIS ONEEEEE was so so good. The crust:filling ratio was perfect. It was rich and creamy. Doesn't mix in cake/filler like some other places. Just good, pure, classic cheesecake with some good fruit on top. Cardamom bun: Texture kind of like breakfast bun/kougn amann but tastes like a light pumpkin spice, thanksgiving. Goes great with coffee I'm sure!! This flavor profile in general isn't really my thing but my friend loved it !! Banana bread: Really not the most aesthetic thing. It's almost kinda ugly in pictures ... but what it lacks it makes up for in TASTEEE. I should've gotten a cross section but there's dark chocolate and nuts and the banana flavor is there and sweetens everything so nicely. Also, you order at the counter and they'll bring it to you at the table in order of drinks then pastries then food. Not sure how it works if you want to order more tbh like if you finish eating and want more dessert. Would I wait 2 hours again? Unfortunately probably yeah. Since I'm a visitor it's not like I can go during off hours/random weekdays etc. And everything was soooo good I'd definitely come again next time I'm back!!

(Also, keep in mind that mornings are walk-in only, you can't order the breakfast sandwich online like you can with the pastries, and reservations are strictly for their dinner service.) Stepping inside is a welcome relief from the sun. The interior is modern and light-filled, featuring a gorgeous pastry display at the central ordering counter. The space is tight, loud, and bustling. Which makes sense given the sheer volume of people they serve, so you'll have to try and snag one of the few seats along the edges. Once we finally ordered, the service was incredibly fast. The sandwich came out in less than 5 minutes! It was definitely a good, tasty sandwich, but I wouldn't say it was amazing. Ultimately, while I enjoyed the food and the beautiful space inside, I probably wouldn't wait 45 minutes in the blazing sun to get it again.

How could a place that loves Michael Jackson be bad?…read more Salted Egg Yolk Bolo Bun流心菠蘿麵包: Calling it "流心"(runny) isn't quite accurate; it's a bolo bun菠蘿包 (pineapple -shape bun) with a salted egg yolk filling, but it had an authentic, old-fashioned flavor that made me feel like back to childhood. The crust was thin and crispy, with a large air cavity, making it very soft and fluffy. The salted egg yolk has just the right balance of sweetness and saltiness, and wasn't too cloying. Garlic Cheese Brioche Bun蒜香奶酪麵包: Perhaps its more Taiwanese name is "八蒜包" (Eight Garlic Bun). Its appearance and taste were very similar to those I've had at Taiwanese bakeries in mainland China. The cheese and garlic flavors were very strong, but the bread itself was slightly coarse. Hojicha Latte: The whole milk was very milky, but the hojicha flavor felt a little weak. However, it's already great to find a tea latte that's not very sweet.
