Small Malibu Bowl, 2/5: It's fine, but wouldn't get it again. It's more froyo? The pineapples were definitely canned... I personally prefer coconut bases but for acai, it's one of the better ones.

Solid 4 stars. I love how this place is sibling owned. I really enjoyed my açaí bowl. I am on a detox diet and needed something on the healthy side to hold me over until I could get home. I saw that Bliss Bowls Açaí has smoothies so walked on over. The decor is cute. Served with a smile. The machine was out of order so couldn't get a smoothie so I bought the Bliss bowl instead. It was very tasty. Where you order and where the menu is positioned is not aligned. So unless you know the items you have to go back and forth between the register and menu, which is kind of awkward. *Unprompted suggestion* move the bucket of granola where the register is or move the menu.

Found this place while shopping in Chicago. The staff were so kind, the prices affordable, and acai delicious! The very berry bowl was great, and the iron man smoothie was fantastic. It's very cozy inside and feels very welcoming!

I wanted to take more pictures but there were other customers and I didn't want to seem creepy. They're definitely going for a tropical and relaxing vibe. I ordered the Very Berry Bowl. It was really good! The fruit was fresh and the açaí was perfectly sweet and tart. The bowls are made to order so the wait may be long. There was only one person working while I was there and I got my order in right before online orders and other customers trickled in. The person working was very efficient and calm, which I appreciated. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the neighborhood!

The strawberries and bananas were fresh but I do wish I got more strawberries and that they were in thin slices rather than in chunks. Very generous helping of granola, peanut butter, and cacao nibs and I appreciate that their granola is gluten free by default. Cute interior, interesting presentation and layering, and friendly service. Minor tweaks aside, I still would consider this up there as one of the best açaí bowls I've had, especially since the ratios of all ingredients were nearly perfect.

I have been bliss to bliss bowls more times than I can count. It has been consistently good and has the best açaí in Chicago. All the workers are amazing and especially the owner they are all so sweet. They are also very fast as well. The attention to detail is amazing!! As soon as I walk into the store there's a bunch of flowers and cute backgrounds that I love. It's the perfect place to sit down and enjoy your bowl. I would highly recommend going to bliss bowls! read more

Popped in on a hot day in July while visiting Chicago last week. The lady behind the counter was holding it ALL down - making bowls and also handling a luggage storage service! My friend got the Nutella bowl and I got the peanut butter. Both were delicious. And huge! Basically an acai sorbet sundae. Took less than 3 minutes to get our bowls and we perched up at the cute little bar on pink stools to eat and watch the world go by. It's a nice little place and the bowls are great. read more

please expand to lakeview :) chicago needs more acai. knocking off one star for feedback, not criticism. it's really bizarre not to have the option to customize a bowl. i was told it was bc "the system won't let me". hire an intern to update your system. with all the great ingredients you offer a "make your own bowl" should be an option. it's a pretty standard offering. also, find new serving containers that offer better "to go" lids. another small investment of time and probably not really any money. this spot is so great, invest to make it even greater! read more

The strawberries and bananas were fresh but I do wish I got more strawberries and that they were in thin slices rather than in chunks. We were craving acai so we originally went to deep purpl. We were so disappointed by the overly sweet, icy texture that we basically just threw it out in search for something better. We're so glad we stumbled on this one! The acai is nice and creamy, not too sweet, and the fixings were on point! Really enjoyed all the flavors and the large was huge! I wish it was cheaper but I understand. Plus they're family owned! The service was great but that's cause I was the only customer. Who knows if it would be worse in the summer! read more

Bliss Bowls has quickly become one of my go-to spots. The acai is so good--great flavor and the texture is perfect, almost like soft serve. They also have a nice variety of specials, which makes it easy to try something new each time without getting bored. The vibe inside is another big plus. First time coming here! It was along Wabash near millennium park, so very convenient. I would say the ambience was very nice and decorated. The Acai bowls were reasonably priced and contained lots of topping, VERY REFRESHING! There was only one person working, so I had to wait a bit but it was well worth it. The lady that was working was also very nice! Definitely stop by if you are in the area to support! read more

We were a big group, ordered different smoothies/bowls. Everything was perfect. 2 of us had allergies and they were very attentive and were very accommodating. My daughter had an accident ands dropped her smoothie. The gentleman cleaned the place promptly and replaced hers for free. Very clean, very welcoming, and definitely delicious. It's all around gorgeous lovely fresh and uplifting atmosphere the process are 10$ & up it depends on the sizes not really the bowl, once i walked in i was acknowledged and told to hold on but she didn't take long and was right back to me taking my order. We did have a mess up that was easily fixed with no problem and i was my way out. I would say if you like açaí bowls try it; it doesn't disappoint. read more

This place is a go to for when I visit the city. There is just something about it from the atmosphere to the decor and the many options you have available for whatever bowl you desire. I personally love the Brazilian bowl. They're Amazing with every bite I end up coming back every morning. I went to the bathroom to wash my hands and it was out of soap (it was before noon by the way), the hand dryer was broken (there was literally a part of it hanging out the bottom and the part was very dirty/old looking, there were splatters in the toilet, and there were food bits all in the sink as if someone had eaten then rinsed out their mouth in the sink. I'm so annoyed that I spend almost $50 for myself and my partner and we basically had to throw everything out. If I could've asked for a full refund of my entire order I would have.

Was suggested this instead of the ube ensaymada and it was definitely more huckleberry than ube. Tasty though. Overall this spot was good and certain things (corn maiz drink, pandan eclair, Italian beef eggrolls) were worth the wait while others are overhyped. Stopped by this little açaí bowl spot and it was such a great experience. The shop itself is super cute and has a really welcoming vibe the second you walk in. The owner was incredibly nice and made us feel right at home, which honestly made the visit even better. You can tell they really care about the place and the people who come in. The bowls were absolutely delicious--fresh, flavorful, and perfectly topped. Everything tasted really high quality and the portions were great too. I was excited to try Bliss Bowls, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to the hype. I got the acai bowl, and it was just way too sweet for my taste. I don't mind a little sweetness, but this was on another level. It wasn't balanced and made it hard to enjoy the other flavors. Also, for the price, I was expecting a bit more. The portion was pretty small, and it didn't even fill me up for breakfast. Definitely not the best value for the money. I really hope they can improve on the quality and portion sizes. I've heard good things, so maybe it's just a one-off, but I won't be rushing back anytime soon. read more

Im staying in Chicago for a few days and walked in with a friend because I wanted a smoothie. The interior is so beautiful I love the way it's decorated, and the person at the counter was sooo nice and friendly. The smoothie was also really good! I love thick smoothies, and because it was thick it reminded me of how I make them, which is nice after staying in Chicago for a bit. Also the flavor was very fresh and nice after a long day.
