    Turkey

Grabbed a couple of turkey sandwiches to pack off for the flight to Florida. Great turkey and bread, better than typical tomatoes, and the sandwiches were fresh and tasty for our trip. Our seat neighbor even commented that they looked great for airport fare. Employee who took the order was great. Guy who 'dressed' the sandwich may not have been having his best day, and cashier was very friendly. A solid stop to get something to go.

chicago o'hare international airport...one of the united hubs for connecting flights...quality food options are quite slim at o'hare and daughter was hungry...she selected manchu for food and cafe zoot for dessert...after consuming some soggy orange chicken, went over to cafe zoot which had a short line...got to the registered and asked for a ice cream cone...told to walk over to the ice cream counter...1 scoop cone $5.46...selected cookies and cream...cafe zoot offers some simple sandwiches, pastries, coffee drinks and ice cream, but at airport prices...sandwiches looked pretty simple, but piled high with lettuce to appear fat...

Pretty bad Italian sandwich. Barely any meat (maybe 5 pieces total? And THIN ones at that) and the hot peppers were pickled jalapeños you might get from a can. The servers were dismissive and unfriendly. The prices are high. There are not any redeeming qualities of this place- only stop if you are out of all other options.

The place is overpriced and it tastes so bad! It tastes disgusting and they should be ashamed to run a business like this. The price isn't good. I would rather eat at McDonald's which is only five min walk from this food court

Roast Beef with everything except black olives

Woot Woot for Cafe Zoot - Hey ya'll I was impressed, not overly impressed but still impressed. Anyone wondering the aisles at O' Hara knows the food choices are limited and there are a lot of joints playing on the Chicago food theme with the Pizza Pie and the Italian Beef or the hotdogs and even a Nuts on Clarke none misleading but nothing I'd hang my hat on and call a must have while passing through this terminal. I stopped by Zoot in search of something freshly prepared under a hundred dollars for a quick lunch before catching my next flight, certainly you must know if Chicago was my final destination I'd be saving my appetite for something downtown no matter how hungry I was after deplaning. After watching the sandwich making process for a few minutes and the employees efficiently and continuously serve customer after customer I decided on a roast beef on a toasted roll loaded up with everything but black olives, in my opinion all olives should be green and served on a thin crust pizza or in a chilled martini glass period end of story. I got in line behind a pilot who was loading up the feed bag before boarding his flight and it seems he had experienced Zoot before because he was really peeling off the napkins in preparation for his mile high feast. My sandwich came off the oven conveyor and the girl dressed it and wrapped it in less than a NY minute I grabbed as bag of bbq chips, cashed out and was one my way to find a suitable sit that may or may not have been wiped down this week at the handy dining area behind this food court. I liked the product it was pretty good quality, the veggies were fresh and the bread wasn't stale and although the meat portion was rather slim it was good so I'd say it's okay by me...

Toasted sandwich on multigrain bread with turkey, mustard, lettuce, tomato, and black olives. With a red delicious apple.

Good place to get a quick, healthy lunch to go at the airport. I got a toasted sandwich on multigrain bread with turkey, mustard, lettuce, tomato, and black olives. With a red delicious apple, it was a complete and tasty meal. The line was long but it moved fast. There is a separate line for made-to-order sandwiches and another line for drinks and other stuff. Definitely recommend this place if you are on the run and want something fresh that's fast to grab and go to your gate.

I'm not sure how this place has reviews with 5 stars. I can certainly be generous, but for an airport establishment, with poor service, reheated croissant sandwiches, mediocre coffee, and moderately high prices, I couldn't go more than 3. Prior to trying the breakfast croissant with sausage and egg, I would have given this place a 3, because it lost points for the rude and inattentive person behind the counter. Prior to eating the breakfast croissant, I examined it to find out that it's not a sandwich... they instead inserted the sausage and egg into the croissant before baking. Since the sausage is a small patty, it covers less than half the surface area of the croissant. It wasn't the worst thing ever, but I felt misled into thinking I was going to have a mouthful of sausage in every bite. The coffee wasn't bad, but I didn't finish it... a sign that I wasn't really feeling the flavors. While there may be something to be said about your health and going here instead of McDonald's, one thing I can say is that the value of the dollar at McD's goes a long way versus the dollar here. I'm not sure what the airport prices are, but with the $1/2/3 menu at McD, you're liable to get more bang for your buck.

A ham sandwich with 1 peice of ham.
    S S.

I ordered a ham sandwich. The cost is $8.00, fine I'm at the airport. But what was not fine is to open it and only have 1 slice of meat on my sandwich. So I paid $8 for lettuce, tomato, and a piece of ham! 1st time shame on me. 2nd time shame on you...THEY WILL NOT get a second chance

Rick Bayless has built himself a restaurant w/award winning restaurants like Frontera Grill & Topolobambo. The first time I got food from Tortas Frontera to take on the plane as it was a domestic flight that wasn't serving food so I thought I would grab a Cubaba Clasica & take it on the plane, BIG MISTAKE. This sandwich is meant to be eaten on the spot & not later When I went back the second time on 02/12/25 I ordered the same Cubana Clasica - Carnitas, smoked pork lion, bacon, jack cheese, chipotle mustard & pickled onions. This time I ate it before boarding the plane. It was delicious & meant to be eaten right away When ordering it's better eaten right away. I learned my lesson the hard way taking it on the plane instead of eating it right away. Unfortunately, this spot has degraded a bit in quality from the last time I visited in its top-drawer Tortas Frontera days. Despite there being no line to order, I waited quite a while before someone came to take my order (though to be fair she thanked me for waiting). The wait for food was even longer, about 20 minutes for one order of the barbacoa tacos. I always like to watch the food being prepared. Previously, this was an efficient operation where the staff worked quite clean. It seemed a bit disorderly on this visit. The tacos themselves were very good, especially the well-seasoned meat (which didn't even need to salsa provided) and the tender corn tortillas. There were a LOT of onions, which I ended up shaking off to get the fillings more in balance. They include a lime wedge on the side, which added great acidity to the tacos. The tacos were good enough to make me come back, but only with a lot of time before boarding.

They were out of burrata, but wasn't told until after paying and waiting a few minutes. The right time to tell me would have been before ringing up my order. I requested the Scorsese. I may have set my expectations too high. I anticipated a sandwich much like a similar looking one I had at Eataly in Las Vegas. This one lacked the same flavor. It wasn't bad, just not memorable. With tax, it came to about $20, so I hoped for full flavor ... airport pricing or not. Would I visit again? Maybe. Maybe not. And, yes, I have passed this place by when my connection is tight because it may take a few minutes for them to make your sandwich. The Dicaprio has no meat, but you don't miss it. The balsamic glaze ties everything together so well! Surprisingly the food for their corned beef deli is delicious in another way. Quality was good it's not as greasy or thick as Manny's corned beef which you'll have a food coma if you ate a whole corned beef or pastrami sandwich over there here the way they make their sandwich is similar to Jason's deli if anybody remembers Jason's deli. Jason's deli was not bad but it wasn't greasy if you're the type that likes greasy salty corned beef if it's done right like Manny's then that's what you should go otherwise if you don't like that feel this might not be a restaurant or cafeteria to eat at. The corned beef in regards to quality their Mile high corned beef was light and delicious it's fresh too just like Manny's but not greasy and heavy. I have seen this on Facebook as well and they're Italian versus being a kosher Jewish and they've been around too but not as old as Manny's since they've been around since 1960 whereas Manny's has been around since 1942 and is as old as my parents. Ambience was very casual and friendly it was my first time I had a dress to the cashier it's not really a cafeteria style but you can still sit down and eat I would most likely come back also because of the prices since Manny's tends to be expensive for their sandwiches. This was expensive too but then again I ordered a chili and a tiramisu I was going to get a potato salad just to find out they had soups. If you're around Franklin Park in like Mom and Pop delis this is another good option and don't want to drive to Chicago for Manny's and an alternative to Jason's deli in oakbrook or in Chicago surprise I did not know the other Jason's deli at the four stars. Being an Italian deli it's going to be a bit more limited to certain kosher dishes so don't expect to have knish or matzo ball soup but they will have chicken noodle soup.
