Quick healthy option while out shopping is always good. There was tons of variety.. I always love healthy options when out and about.

However, the reason for the bad review is that we got an acai bowl with multiple light colored hairs in it. (Mine and my husbands' hair colors are black). This is absolutely disgusting and deters me from wanting to order from here again. The photo shows the strand we initially found and there were multiple other strands that we found blended into the bowl. Absolutely unacceptable. Will not be ordering from here again.

I later learned to cook healthfully as a teenager, and have explored ethnic foods ever since. Raw foods such as fruits, veggies, juices, and salads remain favorites. So when I went to Chicago last summer, as I was walking back to my hotel from Millennium Park hot and exhausted, quenching my thirst and hunger simultaneously with something fresh was a priority. I had spotted Deep Purpl on the way. I love açai, and usually just purchase it in frozen packets or juice from the grocery store, so this was my first time trying an açai bowl at a shop. It was absolutely amazing, so much so that I ordered the same thing as a BOGO special from Uber the next day. I've been trying to find a local spot in VA that compares: not too sweet, quality ingredients nicely layered with almond butter as an option.

We were excited to try this new-ish place in our neighborhood. Went there for brunch on a Sunday…read more Got some coffee drinks, potatoes, and breakfast sandwiches. I'm sorry to have to say this was one of the worst restaurants I've been to in a long time. My drink wasn't made properly (the menu said it had a sweet creamy whipped topping but what I got was some unsweetened coffee foam). But thankfully when I asked for something else they were gracious and did so. The sandwiches were so bad I literally spit out my first bite of my turkey sausage egg and cheese sandwich and threw the rest away. The menu showed turkey sausage patty in the sandwich but mine had a few sliced up pieces of breakfast sausage links, the english muffin was very greasy, and the egg and spinach were covered in grease. My partner ordered the turkey croissant sandwich and the turkey was dried out/crunchy in some parts and parts of the croissant were burnt. The potatoes were very bland and some of them tasted sour. I went to the bathroom to wash my hands and it was out of soap (it was before noon by the way), the hand dryer was broken (there was literally a part of it hanging out the bottom and the part was very dirty/old looking, there were splatters in the toilet, and there were food bits all in the sink as if someone had eaten then rinsed out their mouth in the sink. I'm so annoyed that I spend almost $50 for myself and my partner and we basically had to throw everything out. If I could've asked for a full refund of my entire order I would have.

Luckily, I signed up for the app and received $10 off my first order. I tried the tiramisu latte, which was amazing, along with a breakfast croissant sandwich that was really tasty. I also loved the jelly they served with it. The café was pretty busy, so next time I'll definitely order ahead. The space itself was spacious and cute, with a really nice atmosphere. It's a little pricey, but worth it as an occasional treat. They also had a great variety of pastries that looked delicious.

It was quite nice Half kale apple half ginger tonic is very nice! It has a good healthy taste and a ginger tinge. The pumpkin loaf was good but plain. It wasn't bad at all it just has room for improvement The chicken supreme tasted like food from the freezer into oven. Which of course is what most food is, but that's not what it should taste like. There is a good flavor there, but it's hidden by the freezer note. The pumpkin croissant was kind of dense. It tasted good but the actual croissant part Was A bit too dense for a croissant I believe. The actual pumpkin part was a little sweet, but it was decent. Maybe if it was warmed up it would taste better. Also, maybe if the croissant was flakier and thinner it would be less dense and easier to eat.
