We happened to be next door for a Yelp Elite event and soft opening and were offered to come by and see B Sweet Designs which has their grand opening tomorrow. The desserts- impeccable. The aesthetic- baubly soft pinks & cremes gives a sweet & classy aesthetic that is friendly, warm & everything you want in a dessert lounge/caffe. I had the rose honey lavender latte with oat milk and I secretly want them to name it after me because I will be here daily to enjoy it. Support local & be a small part of making someone's dreams come true. All my best wishes.

We were told to try this new bakery and it was AMAZING! I had the Rose Honey Lavander Latte and Lemon Strawberry Tart. They were both delightful! I can't wait to come back and try more! They have a full time customer now!

The only downfall (and I'm hoping this is a faux pas only until the construction is complete) is the lack of accessibility. There are no ramps to get inside the building or from the entrance into the bar/restaurant venue. I was surprised that we had to request flatware with dessert and that there wasn't an option for coffee or tea. That being said, tonight's local chef/business was Tony's Supper Club. I enjoyed The Big Hello cocktail to start and since I wanted to order one of everything on the menu, I got 2 appetizers, an entree to eat for my meal, an entree to bring home for tomorrow, and dessert. The Fungi "Cappuccino" was deliciously creamy. My only gripe was that I needed a spoon and more bread to sop up every bit of goodness. The Caramelized Figs with creamy Goat cheese and spicy arugula was the perfect combination of flavors. For my main entree, I ordered the Wild Boar Ragu. The buccatini pasta was al dente, the ragu was well-seasoned (another part of dinner that needed just a nip of bread for sopping) and it was tough not to lick the plate clean. The second entree was the bison, only because my friend wouldn't stop raving about the duck confit potatoes. lol I ate one (even though I'm *stuffed*) and they are really good - but needed salt. For dessert, even though I've had it before, I had to go back for the chocolate panna cotta. The chocolate is insanely rich, the Hazelnut brown butter added flavor and crunch, and just a half scoop more of the ice cream would have been perfect. If you missed this opportunity, there's one more night on the books - tomorrow March 8 from 1600-2100. If you'd like a party catered or to keep up with Chef Tony, visit https://tonysupperclub.com/

Preliminary review -…read more Ive been "watching this space" since Firefly closed a while back. Hopeful it would be another cupcake place, but not at all sure what was coming. The sign "Everyday Gourmet" has been up for a while, but it was not open yet. Then I drove by the other day and saw it was open. Stopped in today first chance I had, to check it out. Cute cute cute space. They have it displayed nicely. A few tables in the front as well. They had perhaps 10 cupcakes ($2.85 each) on display today, and some other shortbread and related treats. I talked for a few minutes to the owner (I believe), who said they have their original location in Niagara Falls. They do a lot of catering I understand. Always good to know. While they have a rotation of perhaps 40 cupcakes, we tried the white cake with chocolate chips and buttercream frosting (forgot the name) and the peanut butter banana one. Both were well received. These cupcakes are not huge. They are a good size and have a reasonable amount of frosting. Personally I liked they way they flowed together. A sample of the shortbread left me wanting more. I'll be back soon for some other treats. Located just down from Ashkers, parking is street, traffic flow easy. Ill update after more visits. But I want everyone to know this place is open and to stop by and give them a try.

After having a foot long hot dog and cheese-fries at Sullivan's, and sitting on the deck we adventured across the street to this new establishment that opened at the end of July 2013. We were greeted by rows and rows of custom cupcakes. I was in heaven but unfortunately I let my wife choose for us. :) She made an excellent choice though, the Pina Colada Cupcake. It was so good and fresh and good. Now I wish I had gotten my own all to myself. I also noticed delicious looking brownies and other sweet delicacies. There is also a wide range of hot and cold drinks. The owner was there to serve and was very friendly and helpful. After speaking to her we learned that Everyday Gourmet is also a full service catering business available for both private and corporate catering and has been in operation for many years. The business card she gave us stated that their service includes custom menu planning, delivery, set-up, and break-down for your event. We will be back!

This was followed by an open blues jam session where other local blues musicians are welcome to join in. Reserved seating is recommended with other tables available depending on the crowd. We come to listen to the best of the best of Western New York's Blues performers, most of which are in the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame. Our latest visit here was for the 2022 Lafayette Tap Room Reunion party. Anyone that remembers the Tap Room at the Lafayette Hotel on Washington St should remember how Blues nights packed the house. This reunion was the same. Packed with musicians taking turns on stage and music fans filling the venue. There is always a reasonably priced food menu and a fair priced bar. I encourage anyone interested in this type of entertainment to check out their website. Search Tacoma Preforming Art Canter.for upcoming events.
