    My Birthday Cake
    Marcia R.

My Birthday cake was so delicious Never had such a flavorful cake as this one Tessa was so pleasant and helpful When you go in be prepared to purchase more than you came for!! Plenty of room to park and nice atmosphere

What a fine bakery! They have phenomenal desserts, any kind of cakes, sweets, and breakfast treats (ex: Pastry hearts). I highly recommend stopping in to see their offerings. They also have seasonal decorations you can buy and cards. It's east to drive by on busy Niagara Falls Blvd, but make a point to stop in and spoil yourself!

Decent bakery in the NT area! They have a variety of goodies including cake slices, cupcakes, cookies, etc. I ordered a birthday cake the last time I was here. For $48, you get a beautiful 8 inch cake with two layers of cake. I thought it was a pretty good deal! I've always had good service here.

I have been patronizing this bakery for many years and have always enjoyed their delights. Unfortunately, after today's purchase, I don't think I will be visiting it anymore for a quick assortment of cookies. The problem wasn't the cookie itself. The dough on all were moist and tasty. The problem was how much frosting was on each of the cookies which made them way too sugary sweet. The assortment of light Italian cookies, the ones I've always bought in the past, were always a great treat with tea. However, I don't remember ever getting ones that had this much frosting on them before. If it was just for me, a quick fix of taking off 3/4 of the frosting made them edible. However, for $20 for a small box it's not an ideal practice, especially if you want to put them out to serve to guests. Disappointed but moving on.

Ordered the Cassata cake, essentially an almond cake filled with Cannoli cream and it was great! The only reservation we had was the buttercream on the side was too dense and maybe they need to make it softer and more palatable ... too much butter maybe ?

Three words: Cherry cheese danish. This little shop offers an impressive assortment of pastries and baked goods. The wedding cake examples on display are extraordinary. We sampled several items. The hello dolly bars that were full of butterscotch and are basically seven layer magic bars; they're a smidge dry but still delicious. The cake pops were ok, nothing spectacular. The cannoli was fresh and had a great smooth and creamy filling. Then the star of the show for us; the Cherry cheese danish. Absolutely massive, this danish was enough for two people and had the perfect ratio of Cherry and cheese filling that wasn't tart and in a flaky buttery pastry crust. Highly recommend you stop in and give this place a try. We will definitely be going back next time we're in the Niagara Falls area.

    White almond raspberry celebration cake.

Can't pass up leaving a review here!!! We were planning a vacation to Niagara Falls during my adult sons birthday. I referenced Yelp for a good bakery suggestion so I could order something ahead of time and pick it up once we were here. First off, the service when I call to place the order was amazing. Super friendly, helpful and thorough. Pickup was the exact same way. It was waiting for me and the customer service was quick and delightful. Now, let talk about that cake! Omg! It was called "the best cake I've ever had" by several people in attendance. It was fresh and absolutely delicious. Seriously! But also beautiful! We opted for the "raspberry white almond" (at least I think that was what it was called" and it was in the celebration cakes section. I would so highly recommend this basketry and am so sad that I live 12 hours away, because next year, my kids are gonna be really disappointed. Lol!

Great selection fresh as can be

Oh my, what a bakery. Stepping into Muscoreil's is like no other bakery around. Hands down, the look, the feel...the SMELL. They oughta bottle the smell, it's comfort, sweetness, memories, childhood, everything good in life in the very air inside! Phil was our cake advisor for an upcoming wedding. He knows this business! He took the information, had input, ideas, advice and all very concisely presented without any imposition. After greeting and seating us, then taking our loved ones details, Phil could point out the cake displays to highlight his points. He left to grab us each a water glass, forks and a plate with four slices of various cakes to sample. We have been on other tasting and this one was like you were tasting the real thing, not a leftover, dry slice. He retreated for a while and that was really nice, we were able to chat amongst ourselves as we tasted, reacted, sipped water and repeat. It turns out, we could have been happy with any one of these as the wedding cake. Each piece was marvelous. We were impressed that we did not have to place a deposit or make a decision that day, since one of the grooms was out of town. Phil gave us a take home box for him to sample, with a sheet describing each slice. Phil instilled total confidence in every aspect of this part of their wedding and I believe they have selected Muscoreil's. Here is a description of the cake samples: 1. White Almond Raspberry Swirl with vanilla frosting and raspberry mousse and raspberry jam filling. It was out of this world delicious, apparently their most popular cake and likely the chosen one. 2. Chocolate Marble cake with chocolate chip cream filling 3. White cake with strawberry filling and vanilla frosting 4. Chocolate cake with chocolate ganache filling and vanilla frosting The frosting was JUST RIGHT, not too sweet (is that an oxymoron or what?) as frostings go. The fillings were SMOOTH as filling should be. The cake was perfectly baked and NOT dry at all (yes, other places served dry cake). Afterwards, we looked in all the cases, see the photos! I ordered a slice of the white almond raspberry swirl cake to go for HoneyPie and a chocolate chip cookie (yes, ONE, they are the size of a DINNER plate) half dipped in chocolate and a peanut butter cookie, and a piece of baklava for HoneyPie. Love this bakery and it will be my future go-to place for all special events including just plain I needa pick-me-up!

Thank you for making our anniversary extra sweet! My only wish was that I got my own slice instead of sharing. Lol

I figured if it was good enough for Vanessa Williams it was good enough for me but , turns out not. I placed a 100 dollar deposit for my wedding cake but then had little to no communication. We are a military family and were planning from Texas so communication was key. I emailed and called several times ( now we are a month out and still no one has reached out to finalize). I was told that Phil would call me back and he never did. Finally, i decided to use my deposit just for some treats for the rehearsal dinner, placed the order and paid for the amount it was over. NOW PHIL calls! Phil tells me that it's under new ownership and if i didn't order a wedding cake, then the deposit is technically not valid. That i could order my desserts but he would meet me in the middle and give me 40 dollars off my order, but I'd still need to pay for the whole order ! This is because the old owner got that money and if i ordered a cake well then , he could make more money. With my current order he would loose money. Like that's not my problem. Then he goes on to explain to me the deposit was non refundable. But that's not what my contract sys. Then he starts to yell at me. So I'm out my deposit and now I'm left feeling Can i add a PS that when i did fly in from Texas for a cake tasting ( and other errands ) they were very inflexible and we were only able to manage having them put the cake in a box for us to taste. Just overall a poor experience. If you are looking for a great experience then head to just say cheesecake because that company went above and beyond while i was in a pinch due to this fiasco.

The day we visited, they did not have any baked goods (they said they only have them on the weekend), so we couldn't try the peras de coco (coconut rolls). But, perhaps it was kind of a blessing because our picada was plentiful. The dining area isn't huge, but they also do take out. There are about 5 or so tables to dine in. The service was a tad slow, but very friendly; I believe there was only one person waiting, cooking & serving AND the food was more than worth the wait! We ordered the picada for 4 and my brother tried a Colombiana cola. He liked it a lot; it was lighter than a "normal" cola, non-carbonated and less sweet than cola around here. I don't drink pop and even when I did, I always hated colas. I can't say I'd drink a whole Colombiana, but I didn't find it disgusting & that's saying something. Now on to the star of the show, the picada! It was loaded with several different meats, plantains fixed in different ways, yuca & baby potatoes and 4 sauces. We were so excited when it was set down on our table, we dug in before we even got our silverware haha. The platter had chicken, steak, chicharron, chorizo, blood sausage, sausage, sweet plantain, fried plantain, fried yuca and Colombian potatoes. The sauces were: avocado sauce, mayo/ketchup, pico de gallo & a garlicky one. Everything was so, so flavorful and cooked perfectly! There was not one thing that any of us didn't like. If I had to pick my top contender of a meat and a non-meat item, I would choose the chicharron & sweet plantain.... But I hope to never have to make that choice! The chicharron were thick and crunchy. The sweet plantain were perfection. When we left we were each given a dulce de leche caramel. They also have a variety of Colombian snacks and candies for sale. They recently opened an additional, larger location at 951 Niagara Falls Blvd (it used to be El Palenque). We were told they will be keeping both locations open, but the new location will have some additional items that they don't serve at the Oliver St location. I cannot wait to visit again!!!

A pint of some kind of soup and a container with a scoop of white rice. To put into perspective: they have a daily deal that is an entree, soup, salad, rice, beans and plantains for $22. The soup was just not good, I'm not sure what was in it but everything was fibrous and the soup was pretty bland. I guess in fairness the rice was good, but it's white rice...not worth even $1. Do not order from them for 2good2go. The pastries looked good but I didn't order any so I don't know how they taste.

Its run by a man who will come to recognize you after a few visits. We pick up fresh eggs there on occasion, but we go for the "tea cakes". I have not idea if these are called something else in a grocery store. But heres what they are. A small loaf of "bread", which is perfect with a morning coffee around 10. Its not for breakfast (at least not in our house), but perfect for a snack or treat with morning coffee or afternoon tea. There are a number of flavors, our favorites are the blueberry and the cranberry ones. These cakes are 8 or so inches long and 3 inches high so they last a few days only. Perfect, just in time for fresh ones Saturday. They do freeze well. He also has jams and jellies, which we often enjoy as well. There are cookies and various other sweets, all good on the occasions we have tried them. We found him years ago because of his smaller pies, perfect for just a few people, which are great. Raspberry and cherry are the favs on that one. They make a few sizes, we have always done the small ones. They freeze well too. All his products are very fresh. They are also well packaged, they will make it home no problem and no mess. If you are at the market for your fresh veges, stop by here and pick something up. You'll be back the next week. I am not sure, but I believe cash only. We only look for him Saturdays and know he's there then. Not sure about Tue or Thur. Also not sure if he's there only in the summer or year round. We go mostly from April-October.

I found them last year and was very impressed then. This year has only improved. They are there Thursdays and Saturdays all summer long. Some weekends they do some of the other local festivals, so check their FB page for updates. https://www.facebook.com/dmconfections Meanwhile, the cupcakes. Many varied flavors, some with cute names like the "Elvis" etc. Others are chocolate. Strawberry. Etc. These cupcakes are a good size, not too big, not too small, just right. They are generous with frosting, but its not overwhelming. Ive tried many of the regular flavors and many of the gluten free ones. If you pick out a gluten free with some others, they will package it differently if needed, without hesitation at all. Super focused on that. These cupcakes are creative and have fun names. I think they are a little sweet overall, but because they are packaged really well and the proprietors are just fantastic; I look forward to buying from them. They always have a smile and a moment to interact with customers. The cupcakes also store well for a day or two, just remember to take them out of the fridge a hour or so before eating them. Cupcakes are better room temp. 5 stars for the customer focus and general "being nice" 4 stars for the cupcakes, not all the flavors are consistent, and the gluten free, while very good, could be a little lighter I think. 5 stars for being very connected to the area and events in the area. They have not forgotten their roots. 5 overall. I hope they keep it up and continue to improve.

Well I walked over got a great looking Swedish fish at first sight Well little did I know it was 2.00 for a cupcake? I paid it thinking over priced. Considering it takes .50 cents to make a cupcake. Maybe a batch So I bit into it. Let me tell you that the cupcake for 2.00 was rock hard frozen. Like biting into ice. The frosting was overloaded and tasted like crap. The cupcake didn't have taste to it. Disappointed. Then I have to say I said something to the owner. Well he certainly wasn't a peach to take care of it. He complained and said how it's fresh made. Well when you got frozen cupcake you bite into you expect fresh not old ones. So I asked for a new cupcake I wanted a peanut butter cup. Looked like maybe it was fresh. Well again customer service and cupcakes were rated a 0 Again the cupcake was rock hard. Tasted like they over put frosting and load peanut butter into it Honestly I had my wife before this eat blackouts and got a 12 pack ordered. She shows up at the house expecting a great looking house. GARBAGE outside. Things around by trailer. The house looked like a dump. My wife thinks ok I'll walk up to the door. Well that's funny cuz they had some bigger girl who was covered in frosting and supposedly baker came out with it. So she just gave them to her. Didn't greet her. Just plain rude customer service. So she got them. Walked back to the car. She tripped over there GARBAGE laying on the FRONT lawn. She called me screaming how bad they treated her So she got back home and was expecting dark chocolate. Well the baker who makes them isn't it supposed to be fresh? Maybe she was to busy on her cell phone and not paying attention or maybe it's they had freezers in the garage that they store them and resell old weeks of cupcakes. And try to get people sick and get people to think there fresh when there not. But she opened up the pack and she bit into it. What happened? She spit it out and said it was frozen solid and that she can taste the weeks old cupcake and can tell it wasn't fresh. That I'm taking it as they pulled out of the freezer door stuffed with event cupcakes and market ones and resell BAD cupcakes. Customer service and cupcakes 0 So here's the thing. I will suggest to every person who wants cakes or cupcakes to stay away from this place. Cupcakes and cakes are GARBAGE and rock hard and it tastes like shit. Next thing is copyrighting brookie??? It's not his idea. He must of seen cupcake wars or baking shows or shark tank to copy someone else's idea and say he thought of it and it's his own. Lol no that's fraud and completely fake. Honestly they don't deserve to sell cupcakes at events. They sell 2.00 making profit on every sale to support there .50 cent cupcakes and fund cruises every month. People at the market complained to me that they charge high so they can get expensive things. But do no charity or care about anything in the community. I don't see them donating money? No they have mold old cupcakes to sell at any event and market. So how about a 0 rating and say there worse than over frosted n f cupcake shop .. Maybe fire the baker .. Maybe to busy posting on Facebook how there moving and opening a second shop. I feel bad for them. Its not a business gunna be long before shut down and people complain. So anyone on Facebook who sees brookie. REPORT it. They stole that idea from tv and use it as there own. That's copyrighting. And needs to be taken off Facebook. Do not buy from this dump looking business. Tops sells better cakes. At least not frozen old ones. My advice. Maybe the cruises r more important and care more about themselves than be a business. They don't care about anything but freezer burned cupcakes. Health dept. Agric dept should be told. They got called once before for them. And the cakes he's selling are illegal. He is violating his permit he has for home processor. He can only sell cupcakes. Not cakes. So anyone buying cakes beware. Dept already told them to stop the cakes and he refused. So report the business

Getting in/out is still tricky as it's on Niagara Falls Blvd., but you just need to be patient and you'll get where you want to go. Per usual, inside was bright, warm and clean. Taking advantage of their great rewards program, I had a buy one, get one free Bundlet offer and it lined up with a weekend I could take advantage. I ordered a Red Velvet Bundlet, a favorite of mine for years now. The other Bundlet being the February 2026 limited-time flavor, Banana Pudding Cake Made with NILLA Wafers - Banana cake baked with real banana puree, generously topped with Nothing Bundt Cake's signature cream cheese along with vanilla pudding (a nice burst of vanilla pudding stuffed inside the core as well!) and topped with a NILLA wafer. This was REALLY GOOD! The banana cake was excellent - Not too sweet and the banana flavor itself was balanced, not too strong. I loved the vanilla pudding on top and at the center, although I would've loved more pudding in the center, I was happy with what I saw. As usual, the bundt cake was incredibly moist and easy to dig into and the Bundlet is the perfect size for one. At the Amherst, NY bakery, as of 02/2026, Bundlets were priced at $6, but the limited-time flavor was $7, not a problem though, at least for me. I don't make it to Nothing Bundt Cakes often and have missed some great limited-time flavors, so I'm glad I made it out to get the Banana Pudding Cake made with NILLA Wafers!
