So impressed with this spot. Wasn't really sure what to expect, but my husband and I decided to give it a try on a Saturday night. (I see he already wrote a review too) Their menu is a mix of many things - breakfast, sandwiches, burgers and Hispanic / Puerto Rican (not Mexican, per our waitress lol) dishes. We dined in and the area was spacious and decorated simply but nicely. Felt clean and open, not cramped at all. Our friendly, passionate waitress told us that the Hispanic menu is actually inspired by Puerto Rican flavors and recipes. I got the chicken tacos with rice and kidney beans. Found this spot when I was in the area to get a wax with my friends. They had an interesting menu of Mexican food with American foods. We were seated right away and the waitress was very friendly and fast. I ordered the french toast breakfast burger. It was a burger with bacon and a fried egg in between two pieces of french toast, there was powdered sugar on top and maple syrup. It sounds like it would taste disgusting, but it was surprisingly tasty. The only thing I would change would be not getting the burger well done next time if I plan to go back. Stopped by a couple weeks back after work on Saturday, B-uno's has been on my radar for a bit, having a decent average yelp review and burger names inspired by car culture. Pricing is relatively affordable, and the interior eat-in seating is actually quite nice. There is a large array of hot sauces and maple syrups available at a condiment station as well. Speaking of maple syrup though the pancakes / French toast here smell heavenly, I visited for lunch and after i had finished eating someone made a breakfast order, and i knew i had to come back to try it. I decided to have a double Twin Turbo with an order of cheese fries, which isnt on the menu, but can be requested at a bit of an up-charge, queso is a bit cheaper to add than Government (American) but i did get to try both courtesy of my buddy ordering the Queso. The burger was pretty hefty, i opted to have my turbo sans fried pickles because i'm not a big fan of pickles in general. Brioche bun was quite nice, lightly buttered and toasted. Burger patties were service-grade, but well prepared, bacon was maybe a bit over-done. Gov't cheese was about service grade. Fries were good, nice bit of seasoning on them, cheese was unnecessary. Queso was a bit better than the American or "Government" cheese as its labeled on the menu, which should say something about how decent the Queso is. Re-fills are also free for the fountain soda, and coke products are served. Saw this place on a list before of the best burgers in New Jersey and filed it away for future reference. I'm glad I did, because when I found myself in Burlington on a Sunday morning looking for a breakfast spot, I knew I had to try it. The inside is relatively small with seating for roughly 40-50 people. After seating ourselves a waitress came over with menus and took our drink order within a couple of minutes. She was very friendly. The menu consisted of breakfast items, burgers and Latin food and if I remember correctly you could order all of the items regardless of the time of day. I opted for the chicken with red beans and rice but the chicken was a bit dry and a little bland which was unfortunate. My entree came with chips and salsa and the chips were perfectly salted but seemed like they had been sitting out for a while. TLDR; my steak was cooked completely wrong, but the rest of the food was so good and such a good value it's still worth 5 stars. Getting together with two family friends now that we're all fully vaccinated (!), we decided to order from B-Unos through Uber Eats to accommodate some people who wanted Latin food and some who wanted American. Between all of us, the order was fairly big, but came very fast with everything still hot and fresh. All of the servings were HUGE - think footling cheesesteak. Not only a great value with a full second meal in leftovers, but everyone got to try some of all the entrees. The chorizo tacos were extremely fresh and well seasoned. The baconator burger was HUGE and fantastically juicy. The cheesesteak was also great, and had especially good sautéed onions. The chicken burrito had a great ratio of rice to meat, and the boneless chicken wings were tender and nicely hot (ordered the "hot" sauce). The empanadas were fantastic, as was the chips and guac (fairly large guac for an appetizer). The dips and sauces supplied on the side were plentiful. The only downside: my steak. I ordered the steak platter with beans and rice. For $20, it was a beautiful cut of steak with a great rub on it, and huge, well-flavored sides. Unfortunately, I selected the option in the app to request my steak be cooked rare, and in fact got it well-done. I have no idea if this is a one-off for them, but it was really disappointing considering I strongly prefer rare meat. The solution: trading pieces to family members who prefer well done in exchange for their great food. Solved! B-Uno's still has its, "Grand Opening" sign up on the window, and it seems it has not been discovered on this out of the way corner of Jacksonville Road, just off Rt. 130 North, in Burlington, NJ. It is really a Latino Casa that does breakfast and lunch. The menu is on a large blackboard on the wall. The gist is mostly burgers named after the automotive universe, with burritos a strong option. I was there for a late breakfast around 10:30 am, and went with a Sausage, Egg & Cheese Sandwich on a Kaiser Roll. At $6 for the sandwich with a small side of Tator Tots and a large Coffee, I thought the price proposition to be very attractive. I sat at one of the 4 small tables along the front window, facing the wall menu, with the counter to my left and the short order grill just on the other side. Standing up to look for the coffee (it was being fresh brewed for me in the back of the kitchen), I observed the cook putting my meal together. Link sausage was being deep fried before slicing and grilling and lay the groundwork on the base of the roll. I didn't need the extra oil from using that approach to preparation, but it did not affect the taste. The same was true for the Tator Tots. Deep fried and crunchy. The eggs were fresh and folded flat on the hot steel before being slipped into place on top of the meat. The cheese went on last and helped seal the fresh roll top to the contents of the creation. All in all, a pretty good sandwich, and better cup of brewed java. Next time, I will ask for one of their well-named burgers, as that seems to be their sweet spot. These guys should make it.
